Not for use on horses intended for human consumption. Shake well before using. To protect horses from Horse Flies, House Flies, Stable Flies, Face Flies, Horn Flies, Deer Flies, Gnats, Mosquitoes, Lice, Ticks, and Deer Ticks that may transmit Lyme Disease: thoroughly brush the horse’s coat prior to application to remove loose dirt and debris. For dirty horses, shampoo and rinse thoroughly. Wait until the coat is completely dry before applying TRI-TEC 14™ FLY REPELLENT. TRI-TEC 14™ FLY REPELLENT’S unique water-resistant formula contains a special conditioner that binds to the hair shaft so it keeps working even in moist conditions or when the horse sweats.
TRI-TEC 14™ FLY REPELLENT may be applied either as a spray or as a wipe. For horse’s face, always apply as a wipe using a piece of clean, absorbent cloth, toweling (Turkish) or sponge. Wear rubber glove or mitt when applying as a wipe. Spray or wipe horse’s entire body while brushing against the lay of the coat to ensure adequate coverage. Avoid getting spray into horse’s eyes, nose or mouth.
Application should be liberal for best results. Reapply every 5 to 7 days under normal conditions for initial applications. As protection builds, reapply every 10 to 14 days as needed. Also, reapply each time animal is washed or exposed to heavy rain.

Great repellant !!!
I have been using this for years, lasts 14 days, but I apply weekly if bugs are bad. Great all around spray, lasts, has sunscreen, protects against most biting insects. Even lice, it is a decent price for everything it does.

Best Fly Spary on the market .......IMHO
I have used Tri Tec 14 for over 10 years. I had tried all natural sprays, but my horse developed hives and that's when I discovered Tri Tec. It is effective keeping the flying insects away, has a pleasant fragrance, and is the ONLY fly spray my horses do not object to. This time I bought the large bottle to refill my spray bottles, and not only is it more cost effective, it is easy to use.

Favorite Fly Spray
I'm pretty certain I've tried every fly spray to ever come on the market in the past 25+ years. This has been my favorite, as it works for the flies and gnats here in Southwest Colorado, and the scent isn't offensive. It definitely is a little greasy, but I usually take a cloth and wipe where I've sprayed to spread it more evenly.

Works well
Am trying this because the spray we’ve used for the last several years doesn’t seem to be working this year. My scent-sensitive MFT is OK with the Tri-Tech but my scent-sensitive husband is not. The Tri-Tec works well for a day but not for 14 days. I would love to find a repellent that lasts longer than one day!

A fly spray that works!
I switched to this fly spray and it seems to be working better than a few others I have tried. I like that I don’t have to dilute it, I got the gallon refill so I just pour and spray and my horses are happy.

Good stuff!
Love this stuff. The Bronco Gold gave my horse hives, but this stuff never has in over 20 years and through 3 different horses. Like some of the other Farnam products that have coat conditioners, it will bring little black dirt spots to the surface of the coat, but they can be brushed away.

I live in Georgia and the bugs are pretty rude here. Like most people I have tried a lot of fly sprays and this one definitely works the best and lasts for several days if I don’t bathe my horse.

My favorite fly repellent
I have yet to find a fly repellent that works all the time, but this one works most of the time and seems to have some staying power. After a very, very wet and warm winter, the bugs are here and hungry. Tri Tec is doing its work to make my horse’s legs unappealing.

It’s OK
Doesn’t work as well as I’d hoped for. I think I prefer the Ultra Shield. But the flies are really bad this year so it could be that nothing will really help! Good heavy bottle and sprayer, I like that there’s sunscreen in it.

Great for my Sensitive Thoroughbred
I bought this fly spray to replace an oil based one I had as it was burning my horses skin. This one does not do that as it is water based. Smells great and horse approves! Only downside is that because it’s water based, it sweats off much easier.

Love the product, not the EZ pour spout
I love this fly spray. Works for 24 hours, not 14 days. That's okay. Why did they change from a regular top to this EZ pour top? It spills everywhere and the opening is too large to easily pour into the spray bottle. Please go back to the old, normal top.

Good strong fly spray!
This is a good, strong fly spray. It might not last 14 days, but it does last a few days, which is better then most fly sprays that work for 5 minutes. I can usually apply it every 2-3 days. My horses enjoy being sprayed less, plus who enjoys having to spray their horses every day or even twice a day? Since it is water based it is easier on horses with more sensitive skin. The smell isn't too bad/strong. Plus it has sunscreen! This is my preferred choice of fly spray.

This product is the most effective fly spray I have tried. It is worth the price. Also, I have one horse who reacts to all kinds of products, even the "natural/eco-friendly" ones. Tri-tec is the only one that does not cause him skin issues.

Awesome Fly Spray
I bought this product a few weeks ago and love it. It works great on those pesky flies that love to annoy and bite my sweet Missy. She loves it when I spray mt hands with it and rub her face all over with it. The flies just live on her pretty face.
