Peace of mind
This supplement is one of several additions I made to my 20 y/o mare's diet going into the winter. She's always been an easy keeper but is starting to become a little higher maintenance with age. I can't say for certain how much is the supplement and how much is the additional grain and forage, but she looks and feels fabulous. She's maintaining weight and is overall happier too. I generally feel that if you're putting a lot of time and money into your horse's diet, it's a good idea to add a probiotic to make sure they are getting the most of it. I generally trust Smartpak for quality, I like the ingredients in this and it's a great value. I will definitely continue using it.

Life saver
Ordered this a few months ago for my ottb who has some stomach issues. Within a week she went from being a wild child to being more loving because she was so much more comfortable. This stuff is worth every penny.

Great supplement for a picky eater!
I added these to my performance horse's supplements to help with his hindgut regularity during show season and in the winter when he isn't moving around as much outside. He is a picky eater but I was pleasantly surprised that he likes this supplement as he usually won't eat anything powdered or granular. This supplement gives me the peace of mind that he is getting the pre- and probiotics he needs

Perfect for my OTTBs sensitive tummy!
I bought my OTTB as an 8 year old and he had had colic issues every year for the previous 3 years as well as being a (classic TB) hard keeper with loose stool. In addition to the colic and loose stool, he was extremely irritable about his belly with serious girthy issues, tail swishing/kicking when getting his belly brushed and it was almost impossible to actually use my leg while ridding without him turning into a hot disaster. We ruled out ulcers but he clearly had some tummy issues so he has been on a regiment of a few handfuls of soaked alfalfs, Smart Digest and also smarkpak's Leg Up Stomach Pellet and the difference has been dramatic. No more loose stool and he is comfortable and had not a single colic scare. He's now happy and finally progressing in his training as well as actually being a little chunky!! The price of the two supplements is more than worth it for the health and happiness of my boy and I will absolutely continue to use!!

Fantastic Results
I added the SmartDigest Powder to my horse's SmartPaks a month ago and already I've noticed incredible results! He has always been an extremely picky eater and often I would have difficulty even getting him to finish his grain at all. Now he can't wait for his meals and is begging for more! I’m Love it
I have had my horse on this product for a little under six months and I love it before he showed irritation and sensitivity to the hind guy area. After being on this product for a while he stopped being so agitated and much more happy and healthy ;) Joey is a active show horse and never goes a day without his smart digest I love it!!

This product is a wonder
I have reviewed this before but I am still 100% happy with it. My old mare is happy and healthy on it. Having her around( even years into retirement) is precious to me. I am thankful for my friend who told me about it.

Helps
My mare wasn't finishing her food. We had her teeth checked and they couldn't find any problem. Changed grains and it didn't help. Turns out she just had trouble digesting her food. A couple of weeks on this and she finishes all her grain.

My mare has had a finicky stomach, and it is always hard to tell whether it is a change in hay, if she is in heat and restless, etc. She has been on Smart Digest for a month as an addition to her other Smartpak supplements, and it so happens that her stomach is more settled. I am going to keep giving it to her.

Fantastic Product
I have a 8 year old mare that developed diarrhea(soft) this summer. I was concerned because her stool had been normal up until the hot weather came. I bought the horse from a girl friend and neighbor who gives SmartDigest Powder to her horses and she had given this to Chase. I ordered some and am very pleased with the results improving after a month mostly normal stools. Chase also a little cinchy during her diarrhea and now back to normal. Happy Horse Happy Rider!

Horse went off his feed
I decided to try this on one of my race horses when he started back jogging. Because of stress, they prone to gut issues, and I wanted to take a preventive measure. Unfortunately, he did NOT like this stuff @ all. At first he picked around it, and after about 10 days of giving it to him (I got it in SmartPaks & split the daily dosage over his three meals) he went completely off his feed. I ended up stopping it so he would go back on his feed. I opted to put him on Sentinel Performance grain, alfalfa pellets and whole plain yogurt instead.

Great probiotic!
I put my draft cross gelding on this supplement because he would occasionally have runny manure. Within a week or two, he was having nice solid droppings. I was also hoping that this would stop his bad habit of eating his manuer, but it didn't. He is still eating his manure.

Not for fussy eaters
Bought this supplement for my somewhat fussy mare and she wouldn't eat it. Normally if she doesn't like supplements i can get her to eat them coated in molasses, she still wouldn't eat her grain with the supplement in it, even coated in molasses. Seemed like a great product for price but I cant seem to convince my mare to eat it.

I have a mid 20's morgan who has terrible runny stools as he has aged. His tail becomes a mess and it is very difficult in winter to keep it washed and smelling good. I decided to try this supplement as I am very pleased with smartpak and this had good reviews to help loose stools. He has been on it for about 6 weeks or more and while it has not completely eliminated the problem, it has improved the situation to a degree that is much more manageable. He did not want to eat it the first day, and this horse literally eats ANYTHING, but by the second day he ate it no problem...and he hardly gets any grain...just enough to eat the supplement actually. I think this is a great value and will keep him on it as I am pleased with how it has helped him.

I bought this product to provide extra support for my mare while she was on antibiotics. Previously when she had been on antibiotics she had issues with loose stool. This problem is no more thanks to SmartDigest! Within days I noticed a huge improvement, and she remained healthy with no issues throughout the course of her antibiotic treatment. I like it so much that I decided to keep her on it full time. I purchased the powder and she ate it right up.

I am glad I am giving my horse supplements, it is so easy and they hardly ever not work. My horse has issues with loose stool, and it is helping, but still needs some more time, since I haven't been using the product for a very long time. But I am pleased so far.

smart digest powder
I started this product after my donkey, was ill and had to be on antibiotics and
steroids for extended periods of time. He had some colic issues during the
treatment period. At my vet suggestion I started him on smart digest powder
and the colic issues stopped and he is much happier and so am I.

I have had my two light duty horses on SmartDigest for 2 months and they seem much more comfortable. I have my performance horse on SmartDigest Ultra. He has been on 3yrs and with all the hauling and stress he has stayed very comfortable.
