A must in my barn!
I moved my mare from Sandy Florida to rocky alaska and needed something to help harden her hooves, I tried just about anything. I'm an advocate for all natural for my ponies so I dis some research and came across this product. Within two weeks, the shine she had In the middle of Alaskan winter was in heard of and her hooves are amazing, no more cracking, splitting and within a few months completely harden up and was walking on rocky soil. Will never go without it again

Works well
After my horse sustained a serious hoof injury, I needed to put him on a supplement to improve the speed and quality of the new hoof growth. My shoer is very happy with the new hoof growth and wall. This product is exactly what I have come to expect from Smart Pak, high in quality and well.packaged.

Small Benefit
I had my horse on the Smartpak brand hoof supplement, and he was doing amazingly well. I decided to switch to this for a while because its a tad less expensive. I don't feel like it really helped though. My horse recently decided he doesn't want to eat it, so I'm switching back to the Smartpak brand hoof supplement. It is WAY worth the money for the improvement I saw in my horses feet, and works fast. This supplement didn't work for us.

My horse wouldn't eat it :(
Mu horse wouldn't eat this in his grain. I would have to sneak it in with wetting his food and adding more desirable snacks in order to eat it. That's too much of a pain to do so I will have to go back to the smarhoof which has proven to work for him. I wanted to give this a try because it was cheaper. I couldn't tell you if it worked or not because he's only been on it for a month and will be going back to the smart hoof bus next shipment.

Added to my list of recommended supplements
My horse has been on this for several months now and his Hooves do seem to be doing much better.They are not splitting as easily as they had in the past and he does not seem as sensitive after he was trimmed by the farrier. He also eats it just fine with his grain. It's a relatively inexpensive supplement that benefits the overall health of my horse. Definitely a win. I'm also a big supporter of seaweed for improving health.

My Horse Will Eat ANYTHING- But Not This
My horse LOVES food- whether it be stealing my chicken tacos, waffles, or Pepsi. However, every morning I come to find the supplements left at the bottom of his bucket even though I blend it into his grain endlessly. I'm going to try and see if molasses masks the flavor of this product. I just cannot understand why a horse that chases down people for pizza won't enjoy his supplements.

Bad Idea For A Supplement And Here's Why...
This product has Rosehips Shells. Before I ordered I did not really know what that was. After inspection, It's apparently hard little pieces mixed in with the seaweed. Lots of them. They are similar to gravel in texture, consistency, and shape.
After feeding it to my horse for a week, I put some in my mouth and they do not dissolve at all. These pieces are like chewing on gravel, hence the above description.
Common Sense: The folds of the intestines holds sand, dirt and other waste matter. Many horse owners, to prevent colic, use psyllium and flax to move the debris along so LESS of it gets trapped in the intestinal pockets and twists and turns of the very long intestinal track.
Bottom Line, If I wanted more sand or gravel, dirt, or debris in my horse’s gut I would feed him this supplement, however that is not my intent. I don't care what it is, Rosehips shells or not, it does not dissolve and has to be passed thru the gut. It does not even chew up in my mouth, and horses teeth are meant to chew vegitation, grass and grains.
The seaweed is great but is only half or less of the overall product. This product is Not worth feeding at all. I do like some of the other herbal formulas Hilton sells, just not this one.
I can not recommend anyone to use this supplement, period.

Picky eater LOVES it!
I bought this a month ago, and ordered again! I was worried whether or not my mare would eat it - due to the smell I read about online. (she can be a little picky to supplements) She gobbles it up! I tried to evaluate whether or not to continue with it, and I believe that her coat is actually returning to its more natural dark bay color, PLUS her feet are having great new growth. Will continue with it to see the results as they unfold... Very pleased thus far! And at such a reasonable price, BONUS!

So good! I love it
I am so pleased with this supplement! it has helped my horses all around heath, I have been on the supplement for less than a month and it has put a brilliant shine on my horse and her hooves are looking sturdy and strong! She acts so much more happier and comfortable about riding. It's so great I love it will never use anything else! My horse is a picky eater and still gobble this down!

amazing results!
I put my horse on this first about 4 years ago. He had such awful cracks and was having to be seen by the farrier way too often! I started him on this and saw results in the first month! After about a year I took him off. He got flat footed and his coat became dull. I put him back on it a year later when I decided to put shoes on him and he couldn't hold them. I saw immediate results again! My farrier couldn't believe how his hooves changed between one visit! We went from 4 weeks to 8 weeks between farrier visits! His coat is soft and has natural shine! My horse will be on this product as long as he is around!

Barn mates scoffed, but farrier is impressed!
When I received this back in Sept 2014 my barn mates scoffed at it because it doesn't contain biotin, which was "the only way it would make a difference in hooves" but boy were they wrong! My farrier is very impressed with how well my boy's feet are growing out, and he's overall just a happier guy since adding Hoof and Health and MSM to his rations. I chose this because of the reviews and price, and have been very happy with the results! It does look funny and smells vaguely like fish, but he seems to like it. The first couple of days, he played around with it and left some in the bucket, but he gobbles it up now.

instant results
I added this product to my horse, Regis SmartPak about a month ago and i have seen results already! I had his shoes removed because they started to crack his white hooves. When I put him on this the cracks have started to improve!

Wonderful product!
Both of my horses stay outside 24/7. One is a chestnut and the other is black. They got sun bleached in the early summer and after just a few weeks of being on this, their coats are dark, shiny and ridiculously soft! Their hooves have improved as well...I see less chips in them now.

Look no further
Bought this product for my eventing horse. The different terrains puts a lot of stress/wear on the hoofs. I have used other hoof supplements, but he was still getting cracks and losing shoes. With this product I have seen a improvement in overall hoof health. Along with good daily hoof care this supplement is one of my top picks that I trust,

Fast hoof growth!
I recently bought a miniature horse as a companion for my senior mare. The poor thing was horribly overweight, had slippers for hooves and was at risk for founder and/or insulin resistance. Along with a supplement to support her metabolism, I added Hoof & Health to her small portion of hay pellets once a day. Her feet are growing at an amazing rate to get rid of the flare and the bruising caused by neglect. I wish there was a detailed analysis for this supplement, but for the price it sure shows results!

My mare has never looked better!!!
I have used this in my smartpak and my ASB mare has never looked better! Everyone commented on how great her coat looked and how much it had a sheen to it. Her feet just look better everytime the farrier comes out. He has said her hooves have improved tremendously! I took her off of it to see if I even needed to hoof supplement anymore after being on it for almost a yr and now her coat is still shiny, but just doesn't have that sheen to it anymore. She is a picky eater, but ate this up right away. It has a weird smell to it and I didn't think she would eat it, but she loves it! I will put her back on it on her next smartpak! Love, Love, Love this product!!!! I also just love all the hilton herb supplements and the TREATS!!

Smells Funny but He Likes it!
I have been feeding this to my senior dressage horse as a multi vitamin and to help his coat and hoofs. I must admit the look and smell did give me concerns that he may not eat it.....no such problem here. It is gobbled up with all the rest of his goodies. Haven't seen too much improvement in the way of the coat but it is winter. The hoofs have seen some improvement though and the farrier mentioned how much better they are holding the shoes.

Really good for the price.
This was the first hoof supplement I have ever bought and it seems to be working well. I got it because my pony got white line and I needed to grow her old hoof out quickly. She usually needs two or three trims a year tops on this every 6 weeks she needs a trims. Her feet are growing in healthier every trim!

Super supplement!!
My horse loved this! I didn't know if she would eat it as it looks very gross to be honest, but she would eat it plain! I did see results very fast, as her hoof starting growing, I could see the line and it has really helped with her dry hooves. It also helped with her coat, it is super shiny and VERY soft. This is a must have!

Wonderful with the right price!
I have had my gelding on this product for a year. It has made a huge difference and is very inexspensive compare to other coat/hoof products.. I was completly sold when I went to my farrier (does not know what supplements I give) and said his hooves look great!! I have owned my gelding for 8+ years and never once have I been told this.. Sold!!! Just started my new mare on it as well....

Happy with Hoof and Health
I have a Quarter Horse whose feet are horrible. He is prone to thrush and white line even in the best management situations. He has been on this supplement for over two months now, and I see a HUGE improvement which definitely is not a placebo effect. Now, his hooves are strong and do not crack between trims. Even after several rainy days, his soles are nice and firm instead of chalky and soft. It also seems to have given his coat a deeper red sheen than ever. I just started my Thoroughbred on it hoping to see the same great results.

A MUST HAVE ITEM
I have my mare on this and recommend it 100%. Of all the vitamin-minerals supplements I've tried, this one is the most complete and least expensive. Not only that, but it isn't grain based so it's healthier for her metabolism and immune system and I don't have to worry about my mare getting fat. I used to feed a hoof supplement, coat supplement, immune supplement, laminitis supplement, etc. With Hoof & Health you get it all in one supplement! It contains iron, sulphur, calcium, magnesium, biotin, iodine, copper, selenium, beta carotene, Vitamins B1, B2, B12, C, D, E and amino acids. What more do you need!? Why pay so much more for a grain supplement that'll fatten your horse? With this my easy keeper stays thin and I can rest knowing her immune system is supported. Don't be fooled by the pebbly appearance. Just mix it with a bran mash or wetted feed ration and your horse will gobble it up. My horse is VERY Picky. At first she didn't like it AT ALL. But after a week or two she gobbled it down with her mash!
Also, one last note. Don't forget to read the fine print! Different size horses need to be fed different amounts. If your horse is short like mine you can dose down and save more!

Overall Great Product
I've only had my mare on this product for a month now. And i can already see a difference. My mare has light colored feet that tend to crack and dry easily. I recently noticed how the cracks and dryness are beginning to disappear.
