It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
USE FULL STRENGTH. This non-oily insecticide repellent may be applied with a trigger spray applicator or as a wipe. Kills and repels stable flies, horse flies, face flies, deer flies, house flies, horn flies, mosquitoes, gnats, ticks, fleas, chiggers and lice. Do not use on foals under 3 months of age.
DIRECTIONS FOR WIPE-ON USE: Thoroughly brush horse to remove excess dirt and dust. Extremely dirty horses should be shampooed, rinsed and allowed to dry before applying wipe. Use a sponge or clean soft cloth or mitt. Apply liberally over areas to be protected. Pay special attention to legs, belly, shoulders, neck, and facial areas. Avoid eyes and mucous membranes.
DIRECTIONS FOR TRIGGER SPRAY USE: Remove excess dirt and dust. Apply light spray mist to coat while brushing lightly against lay of the hair. Avoid spray in eyes and mucous membranes. Apply with sponge or cloth to those areas.
Repeat treatment daily or at intervals needed to give adequate protection.

Works Well!
This is usually the kind of bug spray I get every summer, and it seems to work well for the low price. Nothing keeps the bugs totally away, but my guy is never covered in bites or going crazy from a swarm of bugs around him in turnout, so we've both been happy with this product!

Flies weren't intimidated!
We have been using Wipe, purchased locally, but I thought I would try something that would have longer protection (and the price was good). Flies did not stay off our horse at all! With wipe, the flies would drop when sprayed; Repel did nothing to them. Our poor mare was bothered all day! Farnam was awesome to give me our money back (what a great company!!). We will continue to buy Farnam products, just not Repel X or XP

Works well
I recently purchased this fly spray for my thoroughbred mare. Overall, for tg price, I think this spray does a good job at keeping the flies off of her. I apply the spray before I tack up and then again right before I get on. After application, I don't notice her being irritated by the flies while we are riding. I would recommend trying.

Does as name states 'Repels'
For some reason I had never used this spray until recently. I was pleasantly surprised to find it repels as good as any of the higher priced brands. Has not caused any reactions in sensitive skinned horses. Will continue to use.

Within a hour, after spraying my horse, the flies are back on him. You can spray this right on the flies and they just fly away. It does seam to be keeping the ticks off.

Good Product for Your Money
The lady at the feed store recommended this product so I gave it a try. So far so good. After the application not a single bug is on him however I'm not sure how long it lasts into the next day. The smell isn't bad either so I will continue to use this over the summer.

Great product for horses with sensitive skin
All the other fly sprays I used on my draft cross horse caused his skin to peel. The vet recommended switching to a water based spray (not oil based). So I tried repel-x. It does a decent job of keeping the flies off and more importantly, his skin is not peeling off now.

A few sprays for peace !!
In the dead of summer flies seem to rule the barn even with an automatic fly spray system and well kept stalls! This is the only fly spray that I have used on my boy that has managed rid him of those pesky flies! It also works well in the stall to help keep the flies at bay.

OK fly spray ...
Not bad, really ... but not great either. It works well right after the initial application, but doesn't last very long. You have to keep re-applying it every few hours or so to keep the bugs off, even in good, dry weather. I don't think I'll be using this brand of fly spray again -- but only because I'm looking for something better.

Works wonders!
I have been using this fly spray for about 6 years! It has a wonderful smell, for a fly spray, and it works better than any other fly spray I have tried, and trust me I have tried a lot! It's great at keeping all the flies off, including the big guys and it's light enough to not make your horse greasy or pull dirt up out of the coat (you'll know what I mean if you have ever used an oil based fly spray).
