BEST VALUE for the Money
I really like Nu Hoof Maximizer. For starters, it has enough biotin in it to make a difference and it contains Manganese, which is necessasry for the bioavailability of the biotin. It is also much less expensive than some other products, such as Farrier's Formula, which is riding on its name in my opinion, and does nothing, except to empty your pocketbook. It helps that Nu Hoof Maximizer is a crumble or pellet so it is palletable.

Great deal
This hoof supplement contains an impressive 30 mg biotin per scoop and is one of the best priced hoof supplements out there. I have been amazed at the change in the hoof walls after using this product. I am an equine veterinarian and I have recommended this product to my clients.

Helped resolve white line disease
Moe is an OTTB that had a crippling case of white line disease when he arrived at our farm. My vet recommended Nu-Hoof Maximizer and in conjunction with other measures, Moe is now totally sound. His coat looks good, too.

I purchased my six year old gelding with cracked hooves and immediately saw this as an issue I wanted to address. In the course of a year I not only eliminated the cracked hooves but also have a horse that seems to be maximizing the nutrients provided to him through his feed. I attribute the latter to the probiotics contained in Nu-Hoof Maximizer. I am continueing to provide him with Nu-Hoof Maximizer mainly to insure what I have achieved in eliminating cracked hooves.

AMAZING!!
I have been using an alternative hoof supplement (I'll keep the product name private) since May of 2008. I noticed harder hooves but that was it. My horse hasn't been completely sound until I started using Nu-Hoof Maximizer. I have only been using it for 1 month!!! I honestly don't believe in problems being fixed over night but Nu-Hoof made me a believer. An entire layer of sole shed naturally and my horse, who was tender footed just walking on concrete, now trots soundly on hard surfaces. It not only has helped to maintain solid, hard hooves.. it helped with soundness!!!! My gelding has been on and off with unknown lameness now for 4 years and I'm proud to say that I have ended my long search with NU-HOOF MAXIMIZER!!! He is the happiest and most sound barefoot horse around!

The Best Hoof Supplement
Nu-Hoof Maximizer is the best hoof supplement that I have found for my horse. Nu-Hoof keeps his hooves conditioned and crack free. His hooves grow faster and stronger. I have not had to shoe him for many years and before Nu-Hoof he would crack and split terribly; he also would not grow fast enough to be able to trim off the cracks or splits which would make him lam for many weeks. I never have to worry about his hooves anymore, just the normal trimming every six weeks. If you have the same problems with cracks or splits I recommend that you try this supplement; it works wonders. I fell in love with Nu-Hoof and I think you will too. Its great even if your horse doesn't have hoof problems, it keeps them healthy and strong.

Awesome hoof supplement
This is my first time buying a hoof supplement, and I chose it for its nutrients (especially the biotin), price, and the crumble form.
My horse has horrible hoof wall quality, and thanks to this supplement, within 2-3 months the farrier and I were seeing a difference. It's not a complete cure but I was able to have her barefoot this winter because of this supplement, which has saved me ALOT of money!
So overall, its great in my book and my horse will probably stay on this for a LONG time!

Cracks Improved
My Oldenburg mare started developing cracks in her front hooves as a 3 year old. As I was getting ready to start her under saddle, I was concerned that the additional stress would worsen the cracks. After speaking with my farrier, we put her on Nu-Hoof. The plan was to then put shoes on her once we started riding her to further support the hooves. After 90 days on Nu-Hoof, her hooves were improving enough that we didn't have to put shoes on. We have been using Nu-Hoof for a year now - still no shoes and she has the strongest hooves I have ever seen!

Wow!
I started using this product about 4 months ago and I can already see the results! My Quarter Horse mare has always had tender front feet but I have had problems keeping shoes on her because her hooves would crack and chip beyond repair. After only a couple of months, she no longer even needs shoes and her feet are much stronger. Not to mention she looks great! There is a definite difference...without a doubt!

WONDERS!!
I have an 8 year old Halter mare that was throwing shoes and had huge cracks. After I started her on this, the cracks are starting to go away! The mare's foal inherited her bad feet and after I started the foal on Nu-Hoof her feet started to get better!

Great product!
I've had two TB's with REALLY bad hooves and put them both on this supplement. They both went from throwing shoes and huge chips to great hooves with no problems. This is the best hoof supplement I've used, and will continue to do so!

The Crack is GONE!!!
We have a retired 22 year old Quarter Horse whom we have owned 17 of those years. He has always had poor feet and we have tried every hoof supplement under the sun but the crack on his white front foot would never grow out and he would always have flakey feet. When he wore shoes you had to have two toe clips on them or they would come off and taking the shoes off was never an option. With Nu-Hoof he is bare foot and the crack is gone. I would have never thought that crack would go away - it was there for at least 10 years with other hoof supplements. With Nu-Hoof it took about a year but it is gone and his foot grows so fast and strong you would never believe it is the same horse. Thank you for this great product!

Finally, something that helps!
I started my horse on Nu-Hoof Maximizer at my farrier's suggestion. Although he has good quality feet, he has always had a problem with hoof growth. Since being on the Nu-Hoof my farrier has been able to trim more hoof at each shoeing, which is really helping improve my horse's angles. We have always struggled with the long toe/low heel combination, and due to the slow rate of growth the farrier could never do much about. Not anymore! An added benefit is that I have seen a dramatic improvement in the mane and tail, as well. I was thinking of enrolling the horse in Hair Club for Men but since being on the Nu-Hoof his mane and tail are both MUCH thicker! Nu-Hoof is also very palatable, even for my picky eater. Definitely another quality product from Select the Best.

Wonderful
Nu-Hoof Maximizer is fantastic!! When my Quarter Horse was having navicular problems many years ago I started him on it after my vet recommended a supplement with 3 ingredients: lysine, biotin, and methionine. Doc said if it was missing one of those amino acids, it would be a waste of money. Jesse has fully recovered and has been doing well for several years with no recurrences. I found it to be so good that all of my horses are on it. Nu-Hoof Maximizer also gives them a beautiful coat! An absolutely wonderful product!
