Product Overview
This combination of anthelmintic and boticide horse wormer is effective against bots, large strongyles, small bloodworms, ascarids, bots, threadworms, pinworms, hairworms, lungworms, and largemouth stomach worms. Each syringe treats up to 1,250 lb of body weight. Safe for adult horses, breeding stallions, pregnant mares, and foals over six weeks.

My horse objects to any tube in his mouth so I'm not sure about palatability, though he does start eating immediately after.
The paste goes in quickly and smoothly if it is warmed in an inside pocket or waist band first.

i have used zimecterin wormer as part of my wormer rotation for the past 20 years and have never had any problems. it is very easy to choose dose and very easy to give to my mare.who isn,t always happy to have something stuck in her mouth!!

Always in our Deworming Rotation
We have a breeding stallions, performance horses, and our gentleman in retirement. The quality, and particularly the effectiveness of the products we use for our horses is of great importance in keeping our "boys" healthy and happy. We have found Zimecterin to be consistent and very effective, so it's part of our yearly deworming rotation.

This was recomended by vet to be one of the equine wormers to use in rotation for my mini donkeys. However to wait to worm my pregnant jenny as she is due within the month as it may cause problems, but will be safe appox. 2 months after birth for foal and mother.
