Noticeable change
Our thin soled draft's feet are growing better than ever about 3 months into adding this to his smartpaks. It also appears that he is moving better and has a hint more spunk. This seems to have filled nutritional holes in our feeding program and I am pleased with it thus far!

Chosen to balance diet - very happy with results
I was searching for a supplement that would balance my 13yo Percheron gelding's diet. Using FeedXL, SmartVite Perform Senior would fill in the gaps like magic (according to the analysis). My gelding started it in August 2018, and I am writing this in early May 2019. It is combined with several other things (his "toppings"), and he will flat out not eat his soaked timothy pellets without his toppings. He has been grain/concentrated feed free since July 2017, and has never looked better, according to those who have known him his entire life. He is solid black, and other than some lightening of the tips of his mane during the summer (when he is on 24/7 outdoor turnout), he remains black with no specific coat supplements. He is happy, energetic, alert, responds well in training and work, and maintains his weight year-round, even with crazy Midwest weather! The side arena photo is after being on SVPS for 4 months (Nov 2018); the rump picture is from an April 2019 clinic - pulled out of dry lot (read: mud (yay spring!)) turnout, quick brushing with hard and soft brushes, and tacked up - no bath, no grooming sprays. Love that natural healthy shine!

Economic but mare wouldn't eat it
It's got a lot of great stuff in it but sadly my picky mare wouldn't touch it, not even when I mixed it with applesauce! I finally was forced to add molasses and that's just not something I wanted to give my fatty long term ;)

My mare is picky about this
At first it seemed like she was eating it fine, and had problems with some of her other supplements, but I experimented with what ones she doesn't like, and she does not like this one. She especially doesn't like that she has 2 wells of it. She will refuse her whole food, and it is grain based. That says something for a horse. If I only put 1 well, she acts a little better sometimes still eating her whole serving.

Not clear
My horse has only been taking this supplement for a little over a month. I put him on this because he is on a special low starch diet which recommended a vitamin supplement. I have not noticed any difference in his health or behavior, but at least it makes me feel better.

Good product
It's too soon to tell if this product is better than the other locally purchased vitamin I was giving him. He does eat it and he wouldn't eat his grain when I tired giving him a smartvite performance multi vitamin (not the senior version).

Palatable, but nothing for joints
After I used this for a month, I realized there's no nothing included for joints like glucosamine or MSM. I was surprised this was labeled for seniors, so I switched to another option for his SmartPak.

Good nutritional value but mare hates it
I used this for one month to balance my horses diets based on FeedXL and while my gelding (who hates previcox with a fiery passion) ate it up without a second thought, my mare hated it. She point blank refused to finish her breakfast with the SmartVite in it. I've found that Mega Cell and a little loose salt balance her diet just the same and she eats it! I think this is a great product but only if your horse will eat it!

Good basic vitamin for my senior horse
My trainer suggested we start a multi-vitamin before my horse's spring coat set in. I just wanted a solid, basic supplement that would give us a good base to start from. This seems to fit the bill precisely.
