VenTECH™ Elite Sports Medicine Boot - Hind is rated 4.7778 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from While it is usually advised to not wear boots for fox hunting, my TB has an old tendon injury I would like to keep supported and protected while following the hounds, and these boots did just that! A large fit my thick boned 16.2 hh TB just fine, and they stayed in place and didn't get full of dirt despite the rough terrain and water crossings. They are a bit tricky to get clean, as the material is rough, but just some water and scrubbing with a brush after each ride seems to help. I am very happy I purchased them though, and they definitely give me some peace of mind that he has a little extra protection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Protective Boot On The Market!! These are by far the best boots that I own. I have tried several differnt types of boots before I found these and I would never go back to another brand. I show Prelim in eventing shows , 3'6 in jumper shown and am currently schooling 4' at home. These boots protect my horses legs and do not allow any water in what so ever even while going through a water jump on an XC course. One of my best friends is a barrel racer and I recommend these boots saying that they worked for all disciplines and she absolutely LOVES them too! I was very unsure of these boots at first thinking that at some point the Velcro would rip or the boots would slide but they never did! I have had my pair for about a year and they have been wonderful! Even after a year of rough work they still look pretty spiffy! I would defiantly recommend this boot!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best! These are the best sport boots I've ever seen! They fit to the leg really well. My horse only sweats under these if it's really hot, and no dirt gets in them. I really trust that these are supporting my horses legs. I will never use a different pair of boots again! I just wish they came in more colors!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Healing medial suspensory ligament Great sling support for 20% tear in hind medial branch of suspensory ligament of my TB/Clyde. Very easy too apply the boot so it and the sling cup and support the fetlock joint. I've been hand washing the boot... washes up well and dries easily. On the hot days I use a supportive standing wrap and use the boot for the hand walking as my horse sweats under the medicine boot. When my horse has recovered, I am to always ride him in the medicine boot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vet Tech technology works! These boots really do keep the leg well ventilated and protected. They fit nicely and allow the leg to flex without binding. I have not had them long enough to comment on the durability, but will come back to that in a few months. On the whole they are pricey, but appear worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought a pair for my OTTB for his hind legs. He has an old track injury and needs extra support for his hind legs. I loved the quality and light weight of the boots. But they were to big for him. He is a 16.2 hand TB and I got the recomended size large. I would caution any one buying to make sure they messure around the cannon and go with that size rather than what they recomend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from hind boots So far so good with these boots. They are a great fit, really flexible so less likely to cause rubs or interfere with action but also give lots of support and protection. I thought the velcro might be a bit of a pain to undo as it fastens down so securely but it isn't at all and its very easy to get them on at the right tightness so they don't slip down. We have a sand menage and I didn't find that it got underneath them. Didn't get her legs overheated either. I will now replace her old front ones with some of these so she matches up - love the red colour!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boots My horse has an old suspensory injury in his left hind, and my vet recommended that he be turned out in a support boot like Pro Choice after he had a minor flare up. So I bought these since I liked the idea that they would ventilate heat away from his tendons and ligaments. They have been amazing for him. He used to be really sweaty and get really bad rain rot from going out in polos, but now he has no more rain rot and the barn staff has nothing but good things to say about these boots. I did notice that with the ven-tech material that they are more stretchy than regular SMBs, so they may be a tiny bit too big on him, but the mediums would definitely be too small so we are sticking with the large. Just thought that might be something you should watch for. Otherwise they have been wonderful and I am so glad I bought them for my boy!
