I swapped my horse from Omega Horseshine to this, as I preferred the ingredients in SmartShine and my horse stopped eating the huge amount of powder in the recommended feeding rate of Omega Horseshine, but he eats this no problem. His coat looks fabulous, he’s incredibly shiny.

No shine, dull coat, horse hates the taste.
I was hoping for good things from this supplement but I am very disappointed. My horse's coat looks dull. There's no shine and he hates the taste, so I have had to mix it with soaked alfalfa pellets just to get him to eat it. He is a very easy keeper, so adding extra calories to his diet is not what I had in mind. His diet is balanced (I use FeedXL), so this product just isn't what he needs for his coat.
I'm actively looking for a different supplement.

Shiny and handsome!
I've been using SmartShine Ultra for about 8 months and I've been so pleased with the results. Even without coat polish, my horse has a smooth, shiny coat and I regularly get complements from other riders at the barn and shows. His mane and tail have been growing pretty quickly since we started this. My horse thinks it's tasty, and compared to the other coat supplements, it provides a lot of omegas at a conservative price point. Very happy!

Perfect for Sensitive Skin horse!
My gelding has such super sensitive skin; this supplement really makes a difference. He is also a very picky eater, loves the taste and cleans his feed bucket every time. A win- win for us all around!

Definitely made a difference, and quick!
Only started using it a few weeks and my pony's coat is so much more shiny. However, I purchased this product for a skin condition which as of yet has not improved.

Really helped my mare!
My mare used to have such dull looking fur and her skin was full of dander it no matter how much I brushed her or what shampoo I used, it just wouldnt go away. So, I decided to approach the problem from the inside, and I’m SO happy I did! She’s been on smartshine for just over 2 years and she is always so shiny, and her skin is beautiful and not flaky.

flaxseed great nice to have chia iwith it
Trying this out have used straight flaxseed for years grind it up fresh, not enough time now, has the advantage of chia seed with it. Horses ate it up and licked the buckets. Recent trial so give it a few months and see how it goes. Engergy level good but not over the top even for my sensitive horse.
