Instructions
Instructions for Use:
Shake well before use. Move excess hair from wound area. Clip if necessary. Adjust spray nozzle and saturate the affected area, flushing away any foreign debris. If dressing is required, saturate dressing with Vetericyn Plus® Antimicrobial Hydrogel at each dressing change. Repeat 3-4 times per day or as necessary. Faster healing is achieved when wounds are cleaned and maintained moist. No rinsing necessary. Safe for use around mouth, nose, ears, and eyes. For best results, first clean affected area with Vetericyn Plus® Wound & Skin Care Liquid to ensure deep dermal cleansing and proper wound bed preparation.

Gentle and safe for pets
My dog Brooke has allergies and she gets bad skin spots from digging and itching. I just spray the area and it seems to easy the irritation. She has licked the sprayed area and there are no reaction. Was recommended by my Vet. Thank You Vetericyn!!!

Wonderful product!
I care for horses, chickens, dogs, and cats. Vetericyn is my go-to product for all of these animals. I especially love the hydrogel formula since it doesn't run when applied. It helps to keep wounds and skin irritations clean and helps things heal up quickly. I make sure to always keep a bottle on hand!

Keep it on Hand!
We don't run out of Vetericyn at our house. First used on a battered rescued rooster that look terrible. Sprayed him all over, once daily. In a matter of weeks he started to grow feathers and ultimately became a beautiful, full-colored game rooster. We never expected that.
I now use it daily between the toes of our pitbull who seems very prone to interstitial cysts. Every night I clean between all his toes and spray with Vetericyn. Rarely does he have any problem with this protocol.
Basically, if we have a skin problem, this is our go to problem. My husband calls it our "Magic Chicken Sauce."

Really Surprised!
My brother who has horses recommended this for my older dog who was constantly getting sores and hot spots. It didn't take long to see results. I'm very impressed with this product and I have recommended it to others. Our local Wildlife Rehabber uses it also and it is on their list of needs for their fundraiser, I bought them some last year and will again this year. I do recommend the gel, it stays on the spots better. .

Love the gel
I bought this product four months ago when my horse had several cuts on her. I loved the gel because it didn't just run off and you could see it was covering the wound. After a couple weeks it helped the wounds heal up really well. I will always have this stuff on hand in my first aid kit!

Worked perfectly
I bought this for my beagles ears. He kept getting ear infections that wouldn't stay away. The vets would use stuff but it would only last a little while. A friend recommended this to me and when I began using it the infections went away. I continued to use it once a week and it did an amazing job at keeping the infections away and keeping my puppy happy!!

Sprayer clogs every time
I love this product, however I've worked directly with the manufacturer because the sprayer clogs before I've used even 1/3 of it. They had me return the bottles, and sent replacements. Those both clogged and now they won't respond.

Greatest product on the market !
My horse gave himself a really bad rope burn. I bought the gel to treat it myself and took pictures every day and could see it heal before my eye! I kept it wrapped and charged it two times a day to ensure it stayed clean ! This product proved to me to be the best on the market. I use it on everything with confidence! Horse, dog n chickens!! This cleared and treated Mud fever on my horse and keeps her lymphangitis at bay by treating any cuts or scrapes on her bad legs. It’s just treated an abscess on my dogs inner thigh, I popped the big 50p sized abscess and got the puss out, sprayed with verericyn 4 times a day for 2 days and it’s completely healed up! My chooks well what can I say, it’s treated scaly leg mite, nasty pecks drawing blood on combs and wattles and a nasty under wing injury! I can’t recommend this stuff enough! It’s literally taking care of all my pets in the first aid department! the only problem is running out!

Started using this five years ago for my accident prone Egyptian Arab gelding. Thought of purchasing stock in the company, NEVER without this great product. Cannon bone crud, skin fungal patches, gouges, scrapes, every and all things imaginable. Recently purchased medicated equine foam shampoo and love the results. Expensive, you get what you pay for in quality and results.

This stuff is like magic
This stuff is awesome! I use it on all of my animals and have healed some pretty nasty scrapes with it. I always have this on hand. Works great for minor to moderate scrapes and abrasions... have avoided some costly trips to the vet with some of my dogs by using Vetricyn.

Love this stuff!!
I've been using this for quite a few years on my horses for cuts and scrapes. It's great because there's less waste and dripping with the gel. I ended up using it on my dog recently for a cut and it worked great! I definitely recommend!

Great Product!!!!
I just bought my first bottle 2 days ago with the thoughts of one of my new chicks may not get better. It was worth the price and exceeded my expectations. My chick's wound looked great compared to just old fashion cleaning and ointment. I was amazed the next morning, the chick's wound looked great with just the few small amounts applied the first day. All I could say was "WOW" as soon I checked the wound. Amazing product! Thanks to this product it saved my new chick.

10/10 would recommend!
i have used this product on my pet duck's foot after she had surgery, as well as on my dog's face whenever he gets random scrapes from playing outside. It always seems to really speed up and improve the healing of whatever I use it on! I have recommended it to many people already. I will always have it on hand for my pets.

Burned testicles
My dog had a mishap at the vets while having a dental somehow his testicles were burned..the vet recommended burn cream but he screamed bloody murder in pain to put it on... he didn't mind the cool spray of vetricyn...thank you for this amazing product!!

Always works!
I always keep a bottle handy for rainrot, bite marks, scrapes, and eye goo. Vetericyn always works for my critters, and I love that it's safe to use in and around eyes, noses, and mouths, doesn't sting or smell. The hydrogel is especially practical as its thickness helps it to stay where sprayed. Works on my cats, horses, donkeys, pigs, cattle, and chickens.

Perfect for any scrape
I used this on my dogs paw pads as well as some scrapes he received from tumbleweeds. The gel does not burn or sting in any way, which makes application a total breeze. My dog doesn't mind the quick spray it takes on those sore spots and the spray does not leave any type of residue once it sinks in. After a couple of days all those little scrapes were healed and I did not have to worry about an infection!

A must in every tack room
Spring of 2014, my mare got caught in a fence and literally peeled the skin down her right fore leg. The vet cleaned it out and told me there was nothing they could do. I was welcome try to treat it as an open wound. My dad told me about Vetericyn so I thought I would give it a try. After 6 weeks I had to cut off the proud flex, and within another couple of weeks it was completely healed.

Vetericyn Gel - Wire damage - Equine
Brood mare, in foal, puts her off front over barbed wire (the stuff should be banned) then pulling back and doing serious and deep tissue damage to the pastern, extensive swelling and loosing part of the hoof heal.
Initial tourniquet below at the knee and direct injection of antibiotics into the vain along the canon for 20 minutes. As the mare was in foal these were the only antibiotics given and also very little pain relief given for same reason.
Wound washed twice a day with tap water, for 10 minutes each time, and then the application of Vetericyn Wound & Skin Care Hydrogel after each wash. No dressings. Improvement was understandably slow, but progressive (see images) reflecting the serious and complexity of the injury. Final result excellent, especially acceptable for a non-competition mare, no lameness, no fly issues (it was summer time), mare foaled successfully and went back into foal.

I have used this many times on wounds and had great results. Does not leave residue that requires debriding the wound repeatedly and thus preventing healing.
