Super versatile! Gentle yet effective
My horse is currently going through her third round of ulcer treatment and is not comfortable with my normal grooming tools. Normally she loves being brushed but she’s very conflicted about being brushed since her stomach hurts. The Striphair is the only thing she likes right now as shape allows for me to get all of her itchy spots, including her belly button! I have arthritis in my hands but it’s comfortable to hold. So easy to clean, I even use it to clean my brushes with the diamonds.

Great Addition to the Groom Box
The Gentle Groomer is exactly what my sensitive OTTB mare needed! I love this groomer because it really helps my mare shed out the hair that lingers after winter. Other curry combs make my mare fussy and uncomfortable, with the gentle groomer, I can sit there and groom her for hours! I will forever carry a Betty's Best Strip Hair Gentle Groomer in my groom box!

Simplifies Grooming
Although this groomer is pricey, I have decided it was worth the expense. It really gets the job done and is easy on arthritic hands. My Friesian/Percheron cross loves to be groomed with this on every inch of his body, even on his face. Shedding hair comes off in sheets and it makes quick order of mud, dust and bird poop (he has many bird friends that he takes along for a ride that help to keep the bugs off).

Does not work
I agree with other reviewer that it was waste of money. Does not do anything better that grooming gloves or curry brush can do. Tried on my big horses and mini horses and definitely does not pull shedding hair out easier or more efficiently.

Great grooming tool!
So, I must admit, I was a bit skeptical about this grooming tool but, after reading reviews on this website and various others, I decided to give it a try. I WAS NOT disappointed! It does everything the ad states. Not only did it pull up the dirt and hair on her coat easily but, she was so relaxed that she kept falling asleep. Added bonus: after grooming her the gentle groomer her coat had a nice sheen to it. I highly recommend this!

Effective but on major flaw
I am pleasantly surprised at how effective this is at removing loose hair and creating a shiny coat and my horse seems to enjoy it. The big problem, however is it is really difficult to hold on to. The design needs to be changed so you don’t keep dropping it!

StripHair Gentle Groomer
The StripHair Gentle Groomer is the best grooming tool that I have ever used!! The ease of using this tool and watching the hair come off my horse is remarkable. My horses love it while I am grooming them and it really does remove dirt and matted hair. The two sides are great to have to switch between face/legs and the body. Best of all it is made in the USA!!!

Don’t waste your money
This shedding tool is way less effective than a traditional shedding blade or grooming gloves. It’s hard to hold onto and creates SO much static. It’s made of quality material but really not a good grooming tool. Total waste of money.
