And of course, please make sure the item is in like-new condition with original packaging (we said 'fitting room', not 'war room'!).

Stretchies Hood is rated 4.4815 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product for non-chewers! My young horse loves to chew! The fabric is good quality and the zipper is heavy duty. Unfortunately, the hoodie only made it through one show before he figured out how to unzip it and chew the entire corner of the hood.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Supermare! This was surprisingly easy to get on my sometimes skittish young mare. The medium fit my 15h QH snugly. She normally wears a 76-78 blanket. She looks like a superhero with it on. Have only used it overnight to keep braids in order. No complaints here!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really like the full zip I got this about a month ago. Had to return the extra large and get a large. I have a 17 hand QH. It also fits my 14 hand stocky QH. The material is sturdy and works greatas a mane tamer. Does not shift and stays in place very well. I would recommend thisproduct.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mixed review I like the way it fits and it does it's job; however it rips easily and I have had to have it repaired already.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice for the $ I really like this hood-has a nice zipper that makes it easy to put on.The only drawback is that the XL I ordered is on the snug side for my 16.2 Hanoverian. He's big, but not enormous. The hood fits, but the spandex fabric is pulled pretty tight on his chest. The fabric is smooth and high quality though, so I don't think it will rub him. I think it will be fine to use overnight at shows to keep the braids neat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good fit for big horse Initially my big guy was a little claustrophobic in it, but he settled down and did well, braids looked great and his face stayed white for our 8:30 ride time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Easy to put on. Horse did not complain at all. Kept braids intact Overnight. So far only used once but looks durable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did a great job of keeping the braids in! First time out my mare rubbed a small hole in it but it still works fine and it did a great job of keeping the braids in and we liked how it seemed to really "set" them overnight. Thanks Smartpak!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shows This is a great way to preserve braids in good condition at multi-day shows.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holds up well! I purchased this hood for my 4yo 1/2 Arab before his first show. I wanted something relitively easy to put on him which would keep his braids in place. even with his constant rubbing the hood did not tear and it fit him snugly. I cannot say that all of the braids survived the night but he did not damage the hood itself which was my major concern. He rubs his head and neck on everything but he still hasn't caused it to rip!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pleased with Purchase I bought an extra large one for my 17h appy/TB and it's a little loose in places but I'd rather it be that way than too tight. I like how this brand also doesn't get to close to my horse's eyes and squish them as others hoodies have in the past. I have used it multiple times now and it hasn't ripped or anything. The only downside to this product was the price. I thought it was really expensive, but I looked around and there doesn't seem to be any cheaper ones that are of the same quality. So it's a good buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice product. Horse was getting hives due to contact with new shaving, or so we thought. The vet recommended using a hood and this one is very good, as to stays n place, is easy to put on and is good looking.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It Works Wasn't really a fan of how this hoodie fit my horse. It kept slipping down so it was in his eyes. Will probably try other hoodies before I buy another one of this brand again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works very well to keep my horses braid in place and keeps him warm on chilly nights.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Hood, a little too small I bought a large size for my 15.3hh TB cross mare that usually wears a blanket size 76-80, depending on the brand. The hood doesn't seem long enough to sit quite where it should behind her withers, and the strap that goes below the chest is a little too snug. If this was something I use more regularly I might return it for a larger size. But, it does its job to keep her braids neat at shows, which is all I need. I don't use these everyday, so I won't be able to comment on durability. It does look nice, and the zipper is great!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for some purposes not for others. I have bought several of these hoods for several of my horses/ponies. I love them for the purpose of keeping a horse's neck covered when braided before a horse show. But, as far as keeping them on all of the time I have had bad luck. They rip VERY easily and I have gone through many (5 in 3 weeks on 2 horses). For what they cost I do not think they are cost effective for the horses to wear all of the time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Quality; Runs a Little Small This hood is well made and seems to be worth the money. I found that it runs a bit on the small side; a Large (78-80) fits my average-sized (with a short-ish neck) well. The Medium was too short and tight on her.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quality! Since my horse is notorious for going through about 4 of these each show season. I wanted to try this brand to see if it might be more durable then other styles I had used in the past. I was pleasantly surprised when it lasted the whole show season. I liked the easy on-off and adjustable features. There were also some great colors to choose from. I would recommend this to any western rider who is looking to keep those bands in place and not have to buy an new one every show. A+
