Great Everyday Lead For The Price
Love it use it daily for leading and tying my naughty shetland pony she pulls and mouths at it giving it quite the workout.
It's stood up to her abuse awesomely and I love the feed of it.

Exactly what I was looking for!
For such a cheap rope, the quality is perfect. I prefer shorter and thinner leads, as thicker cotton leads feel bulky in my hands and the thinner braided nylon leads feel cheap and slippery. This rope is excellent. I have had one for going on two years and I am about to buy a replacement lead. No fraying or separating!

Very disappointed. Significantly smaller caliber than my other leads and very short. Hardware is also not heavy duty. I can’t imagine this for use with a horse, but maybe it would work as a dog lead?

Perfect.
Just what I needed. I don’t like using trailer ties and hate having to switch between regular lead and trailer tie and then back, this way I have the perfect tool for both jobs. Shorter length means less hanging down. Nice cotton so comfortable and easy to handle.

Perfect little lead for my minis!
I usually walk four minis at a time to the turnout and back every day and these smaller leads are perfect. I don't have to worry about getting tangled up like I do with the longer ones. They are a good weight as well. I have found them to be tough and durable. Very pleased and will more than likely order another round as backups.

Soft Lead Rope
Color is great. Texture is soft. It's somewhat shorter than most leads, but not sure that's a negative. Will have to use it for awhile to have an opinion.

This lead rope is too small and too thin. It would break in a second. You can't tie your horse up with it. It started falling apart the first time i hung it up. It doesn't look nice either.

SmartPak Cotton Lead
I adore this lead rope. Yes it is much shorter than an average lead, but personally I prefer it. Less lead rope to get tangled in your hand. I use it on my 17.1 hh Trakehner TB cross. It's great, keeps him right next to me, others said they wouldn't use it for every day because how short it is, but it's up to your personal preference on lengthy of lead rope. The only thing I've had to do was tie a knot at the end that's it. I'd definitely recommend this to people who like their lead tops shorter. Also the colors are awesome, I got the purple lead, it's a vibrant purple and matches my horses purple and teal Peacock halter. It's on a hook outside 24/7 because my horse is outside 24/7 and has hardly faded a bit!

Perfect Size!
This lead is the perfect length- not too long where it gets in the way, and not too short. It is perfect for around the farm and in the trailer- I never feel like I have too much lead rope that will end up getting in the way. This lead rope also has a soft feel and quality snaps- at a fantastic price!!!

Perfect for the mini horse and goats
Perfect length and weight to use with the "littles." The snaps on the big horse leads are just to heavy for the mini horse and the goats. This is great.

Love these little lead ropes
This lead rope is perfect for what I use them for. It's a thinner, shorter lead rope and they are hard to find. I use them to lead my horse to and from the trailer and tie him to it. Soft cotton and no extra rope dragging on the ground or bunched up. Great price too. I also have one in purple.

Dinky and not as described
These are not the nice substantial
Cotton leads you might spect but thin. On top of that they are barely 5' long not the 6' described. And on top of that the ends are bound with dangerous sharp metal wire. If the horse spooks you will end up in the ER getting your hand sewn together. Would have returned if we didn't need right away. Spent an evening using wire cutter to get the dangerous metal off and knotting the ends so the don't unravel (makes even shorter but I option)

Fine, but much smaller than I expected!
I purchased two of these last month and only used them for a couple of days. They're much, much smaller than I expected. They would be perfect for a little shetland or smaller pony. I show APHA hunters and my boys are both considered tiny for hunters (15.3 and 16.1) and they're both super quiet, but I prefer a longer, stronger leadrope for those "just in case" moments. The clip is small and overall I just prefer more weight and length in my leadropes. They've been sitting in my tack truck since and I may just give them to the little girl leasing my pony.

Just what I wanted
This was just what I was looking for. I got the purple one and it's a very pretty color, but more importantly it's shorter and thinner than the typical lead and that's just what I wanted. I wanted it for when I hand walk my horse or lead one to the trailer. No extra lead to bundle up. If you're looking for something for a horse that pulls hard or to lung with, this is too short and not strong enough, but for my needs it perfect!
