Professionally looking helmet!
I bought this helmet after struggling to find a helmet that was comfortable and stylish. I have a large oval-shaped head. I have tried GPA helmets in the past with no luck. I absolutely love this helmet. It’s so comfortable and has a sleek professional look to it. The wide brim is great in the summer months and adds a little feminine flare. The lining is easy to remove to wash. I love this helmet and will be wearing this brand for years ahead.

Best helmet I’ve owned!!
This helmet is seriously SO comfortable and I get a ton of compliments on it! I love that I can have a piece of mind knowing my lemon is safe while still looking fashionable in a helmet. The air flow in this helmet is amazing as well! I have super thick hair so it felt nice having a helmet that would actually allow my head to breathe during hot summer months. Easy to keep clean and I love that the liner in removable. Highly recommend this helmet!

Beautiful High-Quality Helmet
This helmet is the perfect blend of technical, trendy, and traditional. I love that Samshield designed this helmet specifically with women in mind, and the quality and upscale look can't be beat! This helmet fit me like a glove right out of the box, so much so that I almost forget I'm wearing it when I'm riding. The liner is super comfortable and it's easy to remove to wash. The entire helmet is very breathable and well ventilated, even on hot days or longer rides. An added touch is the wide brim that's perfect to keep the sun out of my eyes. This is my first Samshield helmet and I'm hooked!

Good helmet, Smartpak is not sizing appropriately
Without indicating the shell size with each measurement, customers cannot accurately choose their size: for example, there is a 6 7/8 S and a 6 7/8 M. The weight of the helmet should be included in the description (for each of the shell sizes, S, M, L). This helmet is relatively heavy and customers should know that upon ordering in order to decrease returns.

Pretty Helmet Not Very Safe
Samshields are glorified bike helmets. While other brands are moving towards safety (MIPS and GPA's new strapping system) Samshield has said these technologies are not worth it to them. I love the look of my Miss Shield but am disappointed to hear that Samshield cares more about trends than safety.

Disappointed in the fit
This is my third Samshield helmet so I am definitely a fan. I really wanted to like this Miss Shield version of the shadowmatt. I have two shadowmatts already in the classic styling and was excited to try one with a wider brim to offer protection from the sun. Sadly, the helmet seems to fit differently than my others and leaves an impression and a line on my forehead after I ride. I am exchanging it and going to try it one size up and see if that helps. Otherwise, I will stick with the classic profile Samshield Shadowmatt.

Best Helmet I’ve Owned
This helmet surpasses all previous helmets in comfort and airflow. Fits perfectly. I often forget I am wearing it. Love the extra sun protection offered by the larger visor. I have used it for over a year now and it still looks brand new. The navy color is gorgeous. Nothing but Samshields in my future.
