Instructions for Use:
Shake well before using. For best results, use Neem Shampoo prior to skin lotion. Be sure to clean area really thoroughly and clear of all debris and dirt. Allow area to dry then apply Skin Lotion liberally. Leave on. Reapply as necessary until condition has improved.

Great Product
I have been using Equiderma products for the past 6 years. The skin lotion is superb! I have converted the barn where I Board to this product. (24 horses). The hair grows back faster from most conditions and seems very soothing for the horses. Most of us have also switched to their shampoo and conditioner. At home, I use their shampoo for my dog. Her coat is beautiful and shiny. Highly recommend Equiderma products.

Awesome product
I used this for my horse who was very itchy, and actually rubbed patches of hair completely off. After using this product, the hair grew back very quickly . I was very happy with the results.

Will never go without this stuff again! Must have!
We had such a horrible wet spring my poor mare's hind legs became covered in scratches/mud fever. I tried home recipes and Muck Itch spray to no avail. Read good reviews about Equiderma and figured I'd give it a try - amazing! Mare didn't mind me putting it on. For the first week I would wash with the Equiderma shampoo, dry, then apply the lotion and the scabs would soften and crumble off. After the first week I just apply the lotion without the shampoo and honestly have found it just as effective (plus no waiting on drying time!)
My mare seems to be quite sensitive skinned and this stuff works great for any weird scabs/dandruff/scaliness that crops up. Plus it's so easy to apply!
I do think it must sting a little bit when applied to open sores as after 5-10 seconds of being on, mare would pick up her leg and do little shakes/kicks for 10 seconds or so but then seemed unaffected again. So not terrible but probably minor irritation on really scabby/open sores ( which her mud fever was at the start!)

Awesome for sweet itch
This product has been a godsend for my horse who suffers from sweet itch. She will rub her skin raw during the summer when the bugs are bothering her, especially along her belly. After starting to use this product, she has not only stopped rubbing, but the hair is starting to grow back as well. I continue to use it on her "problem areas" and it has made summertime a lot more comfortable for both of us. Have also used this on "cannon bone crud" and it works great for that as well. Easy to apply, the bottle lasts a long time, and has a pleasant scent. Highly recommend if your horse has any skin issues!

AWESOME PRODUCT!
I have had terrible skin issues in the spring & summer with my Haflinger for the last 7 years. I've spent a fortune on prescription drugs and over the counter meds to try to stop the itching - nothing worked! He rubs the fur off the side of his neck, face, and sholders, then ends up pulling the hair off his main and tail. His constant swiping his tail on his belly, breaks the skin open and causes more scratching. I could not find a product that stopped the itching until I ordered the Equiderma. Within 2 weeks the scratching has stopped, and most of the hair has grown back in. He is like a new horse! I highly reccomend this product to anyone who has skin issues with their horse!

Really Good
My horse got rainrot for the first time this winter I tried everything and then I read about Equiderma skin lotion it did a lot in one treatment but it required using the Eqiderma shampoo and the lotion to really get complete cure. I also recommend the Zinc ointment for scratches

I bought this to help combat hind leg fungus that my gelding gets every summer on the front of his cannon bone. This stuff is easy to use and dirt does not stick to it. Cleared up his hind legs quickly. Now I use it every day as a preventative.

Awesome lotion for skin problems.
This is my 3rd bottle of this lotion. I use it on a gelding that was itching the hair off his tail. It works great and he stopped itching and now his tail is finally growing back.

It really works!
My Standardbred has suffered with skin problems for years. This product takes care of scratches and cannon bone crud. It doesn't sting and it's thick enough to stay put.

Used the entire bottle, barely saw a difference
I bought this product to help treat scratches in a clydesdale. Like the description says can be used if bathing isn't an option and in winter, it wasn't. I used the entire bottle diligently to barely see any type of improvement. It did not work for us

Skin Sensitivity
It has been verified by a veterinarian I spoke with that some horses can be very sensitive to the active ingredient in this (chlorhexidine). I had excellent results with it after washing it off the next day. I was thrilled. So the next time she got the crud, I just left it on my horse and had not washed it off. Her skin literally died and peeled off under the treated areas. So, then - not so thrilled. I contacted the company but they never got back to me. At least to write a disclaimer or a warning for the next person that uses this. So, I don't recommend because they did not have a warning on their label. Kind of like, it works, but be careful.

Love the lavender scent and easy to use!
I found this helpful to manage an older horse who gets cannon bone scurf and dry patches in his elbows or top of front legs as it seems to clear up and prevent recurrence. I like using it since it is a pleasant-scented lavender cream so not a chore to apply twice a day initially. The bottle is designed to get the amount you need without contaminating the rest of container; smart. I think if I had clipped our drafts feathers more closely, it would have cleared "scratches" up faster. Thanks!

Miracle cream!!
A friend recommended this cream for rain rot, or common fungus. I applied cream and the next day it was cleared up. I previously used a betadine wash for Three days. This stuff is amazing. Expensive but worth it!!

This actually works!!
I bought this to use for “cannon crud”, a type of greasy dermatitis. Used as directed, and the condition cleared up. Removed the greasy scales right away. It’s the only thing that works.

Excellent Product for Cannon bone crud
Equiderma Skin Lotion is amazing! My horse had cannon bone crud for 16 years and I thought it was mud fever. Nothing worked on it, and even the vet thought it was mud fever. Just a month ago I read about cannon bone crud and found this product from Smart Pak. It works immediately! I dabbed just a small area every other day, to be sure she didn't have a reaction, and she didn't. The crud dissolved each time I dabbed the spot. Now her cannon bones are nearly clear - I still have a couple tiny areas to finish. It's great when a product does exactly what you need it to do! For 16 years she's had this crud, and now it's nearly all gone! Wow!

Awesome product!
I purchased a new horse and she had a fungus type crud along the cannon bones of her back legs. I rubbed in this lotion and it cleared up in a couple days. I also used it on the back of her tail when i noticed she was rubbing the top of her tail and the itching stopped. this lotion is wonderful for skin issues.

Do yourself a favor and stop looking at anything else. This bottle is nothing short of a miracle. My poor horse is from the NE and just landed in the South. We had fungus blow up overnight on our white stockings, ears, and face. I slathered this all over him and by the next day, I could already see a vast improvement. When we got down to half a bottle, I went ahead and ordered another to have on stand by. Will never go without this product again!

Miracle potion!

Best stuff
