Ripped after 3 months
Ripped multiple times (both the outer shell and the lining) and has only been used for 3 months of light use. The blanket it was supposed to replace managed to last 9 winters without a single rip.

Perfect fit and amount of warmth
I bought this a few weeks back when the the blankets I had originally estimated to work for my boy where too big. This blanket fits him beautifully and keeps him nice and warm.

Beautiful turnout
I bought this on sale - I really wanted a medium weight but those were gone and I could NOT resist the price! Plus it came with the most small hole FOUR flake feeder free! Wow! The blanket IS beautiful, very well made, sheds dirt and mud (!), and it dpoes NOT shift on his body. I've been sold on high neck turn out for years now - I'm just not where the weather is cold enough to warrant a full neck cover, but I love the way the high necks keep rain out and off my horses shoulders and chests. I don't care for the single butt strap - just gets dirty tho others love them. I put regular leg straps on but I'm not sure I even need them because this blanket fits so well!
I must take it off on the morning unless it's very cold. I'll be watching for another great sale so I can get a mid weight one!

I have only had the blanket a few weeks but have been very satisfied with it so far. My Appy seems to like it, too.

Functional and nice features
The color Excalibur is really nice. The high cut neck is working great and I'm glad I finally tried this style if blanket. Love the v-front closure with the clips, hate doing front buckles in the cold. The clips are so much better. No leg straps but blanket has stayed in place, just a tail strap.

Love this turnout!!!
Bought this for my 4 year old TB and it fits her like a glove and is super warm, insulating and does not shift! The seams are super tight and the buckles are heavy and durable. Love this blanket!

Perfect fit and holds up to tough horses
I bought this blanket for my arab who is super tough on blankets. It fits his "meatball" shape perfectly, and has held up to his antics and his rough treatment of his wardrobe. I LOVE these blankets!

Strange fit!
I bought this high neck heavy weight turnout for my Arab as he is hard to fit through shoulders. The surcingle around the belly run very small and does not allow for much adjustment. The chest area has a criss cross design with will take some getting used to!

Perfect fit.
Just purchased. The size is true. I like the neck feature and the lower tail area to guard against wind. I'm waiting for the weather and my gelding to test the longevity and strength of the blanket. I like the mid-range weight for the temperature range middle NC gets in the winter.

Love as much as my Rambos so far! (first winter)
This feels a lot like my Rambos, but with 2 surcingles instead of 3, and a little less velcro up front. The Amigo tail cord is fabric instead of the plastic-coated bungee--so it gets dirty more easily, but changing out the cord seems like it would be an easy upgrade. Things I really like about this blanket: little to no static, not too bulky, high neckline cut seems gentler on his withers and chest, front clips are fast and easy to use. We're only half through the first winter, so time will tell how it holds up compared to the more expensive ones. So far I'm very happy!

Great blanket
I wish there was a way to adjust the front closure of the blanket. I ride a 16 hand broad chested Hanoverian mare it it was too snug. Otherwise, great blanket!

Wonderful turnout!
I recently bought this turnout for our older OTTB who lives outside. It came a week before we had unseasonable weather for North Carolina....highs of 18-21, lows of 10 degrees. He stayed toasty and warm!

Beautifully Made!
I love the hardy denier on this sheet, fit my mare perfectly, and I the color is very pretty. It's an almost chocolate/charcoal with possible mauve colored accents and piping.

Love the fit
I got a bigger size than I normally do based on the measurement the site advised me to take - and it fits perfectly - so easy to do up and take on and off. First time I have not had leg straps and I really like it.

Sadly didn't fit
I bought this for my warmblood mare, and although the length was perfect, it was very tight and constricting on her chest. The high neck also restricted her movements, and she seemed rather offended by it. It looks like a great sheet, just not right if you have a broad-chested horse.

We have the medium weight and hoped that the lightweight would be just as good. It is! Fits awesome and the quality of Horseware is always great!

Love this high neck sheet!
Easy to put on - love the tail strap instead of leg straps. Front buckles are easy to clip and the high neck keeps pressure of my high withered Dutch Warmblood. Fits true to size.

Awesome! Can finally justify a manicure.
After 2 straight weeks of ripping my frozen, un-manicured cuticles on straps and buckles, I ordered the Amigo turnout blanket (clips in front, tail flap not between legs). I actually liked the medium turnout so much that I bought 2 of them and the turnout sheet. I only wish the sheet came in the same excalibur/green color pattern at the blankets. Sort of obsessed with things matching. I often take blankets on/off 9 horses before/after work. Every few minutes count and these are super easy and all the horses are nice and snug! Snug as a bug in a wug!! ha ha

High quality
I bought this last a few weeks ago when I saw the weather forecast was going to be in the teen. I was told that the blanket would arrive within 3-5 days and to my amazement it arrived the next day! The amigo does run small so I had to return the 69 and get a 72. That was super easy and the new one arrived within 24 hours as well. Fits my 14.1+ welsh great!

Love this blanket!
I bought this in a medium weight for my larger bodied 16.3 TB. Other blankets have given her rubs, so I wanted to give the wug a shot. The 78 fits her perfectly, and it does not rub. I loved this blanket so much I also bought it in a heavy weight for her.

High neck makes the front fit my high headed horse a little funny, but overall great blanket. Beautiful neutral color, durable, and love the front snap closure

Love the "Wugs"
I love the fit of these high neck sheets. My horses all have heavy winter coats so I only use rain sheets and these are the best.

Love this sheet
I bought this for my smaller bodied 16h thoroughbred. He has gotten shoulder rubs from other blankets in past years so I wanted to try something different. He measures a 78, and the 78 fits him well. So far no rubs! I really like the high neck, I feel like it keeps the sheet from sliding/pulling backward so much. It does have the tail strap vs. the leg straps which I wasn't sure I would like, but it has not been a bit of a problem so far. The blanket stays in place very well.

I purchased two of these sheets to replace my 3 year old Amigo sheets. They lasted well as far as wear and tear. They could be better in the water proof area. After the first year they lost there water proof ability.

Exactly what you expect!
My horse has very high withers, and the wug cut fits comfortably. His uphil build makes traditional bankets dig into his neck.

Kept him warm and dry
I bought this blanket for my draft cross. I should have sized up a bit to help cover his broad backside, but for a qh or tb this blanket would be a perfect fit. I like how the clips on the front clip high on the chest to prevent rubs. Here's the issue with the clips: the clips are like the ones you would find on a double snap. I originally fastened the clips with the opening facing out because I thought it would be more comfortable for my horse to have the smooth side of the snap against his chest. One morning as I was leading the horses out, I heard a commotion in the barn. I ran back in, only to find that my gelding had some how managed to clip himself to the stall gate with the clips on the front of the blanket. He was quite panicked but calmed down when I approached. It took me several minutes to unclip him from the gate. I was so grateful that it happened while I was in the barn and I was able to help him. I turned the clips around so the smooth side was out and didn't have further problems, but still worried about it constantly. I felt like an idiot for not realizing that this could happen but I didn't see any warnings on the package stating the dangers of not clipping the front properly. If you don't have grated stall gates this would be less of a concern, but it's still good to be aware of it. I'm sticking with buckles from now on.
