I think Horseware needs to get it's sizing straight. My horse has a Rhino that is a 78 and it's really too large for him but I went ahead and ordered a 78 in and Amigo and it hardly covers his butt. Since it took forever to get the thing and it's been 26 degrees at night I have kept it but I'm annoyed every time I struggle to put it on.If they even made the front buckle closure in front adjustable by an inch that would have helped but the entire thing is skimpy

Versatile and fits well
My last Amigo 100gm blanket was beyond repair (I nursed it for nearly 9 years) and finally replaced it with this. A little warmer than a sheet and functions as a medium weight for our temperate Virginia climate. Looking forward to another long life and history of versatility for my Shire Sporthorse. These fit broad horses very well!

I bought this blanket for my new mare. After a few weeks we found that the mare had a really bad sore and had to call the vet in. It took us a few weeks to realize this sore was caused by the blanket as it doesn't have any leg straps in the back to keep it in place when the horse lies down or moves around. Bought another blanket for her and using the cream our vet gave she is now (pic shows after healing) happy and back to work.

My horse loves his mid weight Amigo turnout.
So glad I purchased this turnout. I debated between purchasing a heavier liner for my horse’s lighter turnout or the mid weight Amigo turnout for the cooler weather of winter. Our area is hit by a freezing “Nor’Easter that makes it difficult to keep horses comfortable outside so good blankets are crucial to keeping horses healthy. The new blanket came just before a cold spell. He was bundled with the Amigo Mia 250, a 100 liner and 250 hood which kept him warm and cozy. The fit is perfect. The straps are easily adjusted and nothing slips or rubs. We are ready for winter!!

So far, so good
My horse has been using this for a few weeks, and it seems great. It’s well made, easy to fasten and seems warm for cold Georgia nights. The true test, of course, is how it holds up over the winter into next year, and who knows, but it looks good so far.

I purchased the Amigo turnout sheet (no fill) when I needed an additional sheet this spring. My horse has a large pasture with trees, but no shelter - the sheet got tested the first day with 7 hrs of pouring rain, but my horse still came in dry. Have only used it a couple times, so can't comment on durability. Quality and construction seems very good, for half the price of my 'other' sheet - fit seems a bit larger but still OK. Very satisfied so far!

Perfect for keeping my clipped horse warm in the PNW. The turnout quality looks and feels great. Doesn't have leg straps but because of how well these turnouts are fitted this isn't a problem at all. I watched my horse rolling in his pasture and this turnout didn't shift at all.
