Zipper doesn’t last
I’ve gone through 2 pairs of these boots. First pair the zipper broke 3 months in. smartpak was great and sent me a new pair but like clockwork the zipper on the second pair broke too.

Stylish, and practical.
I love these boots, I bought them in brown. Stylish, practical, comfortable, insulating, waterproof. All the qualities that are great about these boots. I wore them riding recently and they were so comfortable. They fit true to size for me. I’m glad I gave these a chance.

Comfy, durable & great fit even for slim calves!
LOVE these! I came back and bought the other color! I am a size 9 Slim Tall in Ariat and find it hard to buy boots that are not gaping around my calves, but these are great with the laces. I can pull them down and these fit really well. Don't think they would work for Extra Slim though. They do not rub anywhere on my heels or toes. I have a bunion on one foot and they do not bother it. I could wear them all day. In fact, I am going to wear them to Portugal next week! and trek through a bunch of airports - that's how comfortable they are!!!

Love the style
Love these boots and on my second pair as the zippers do not last. I live in an area that I’d have to travel almost a 100 miles to have new zippers put in, at almost a 100.00 dollars a zipper. Definitely not worth that. Just wish they would last longer than a year/year in a half. Just bought a new pair without zippers! Will see…

Runs VERY small
These are nice looking boots and exactly what I was looking for. Something lightly lined that I could wear in fall and spring, and with laces on the front for a custom calf fit.
However; they run extremely small.
I am a US women’s size 10.5-11, so I bought the biggest size these boots come in, a 42. Size 42 claims to be equivalent to size 11 on the size chart.
But, they are extremely small. Like, I had to check all the tags and stamps I could find on the boots because they are nowhere near the size of all my other size 11 boots and shoes….I thought I must have been sent the wrong size. Nope. They are labelled as 42 everywhere on the boot. I can’t even get my foot in, they’re that small. I missed the return window (my fault) so now they’re being gifted to my friend who is a size 8.5! Honestly they are so small it’s ridiculous, I’m not sure how these ever came to be so off with sizing and not noticed by SmartPak.
Really a shame.

Great, inexpensive boot
I really love these boots. I have not tried them out during the cold months yet, but I love that I can make the leg a custom fit with the laces! I have a pair for myself and my younger daughter. My only complaint is that there is nothing to protect your foot/heel from the zipper. My suggestion to smartpak would be to add some sort of protection there! It does give blisters if you dont have tall socks (semi think) socks on!

Cute but problematic
These boots are every bit as cute as they look. However, the leg part is very fitted, but the foot part is not. So they end up moving up and down on your foot a lot, and I was worried about blisters. I wore thin riding socks so that they would slip over my heel instead of pulling at the sock which would've caused blisters. That worked for a while, but then once the ankle broke in, it did so in such a way that it then was pressing on my ankle and did end up causing a blister. This was within a couple weeks of wearing them. The other thing that happened was within two times of wearing them, the snap at the top of the zipper broke off. So, unfortunately, I can't really recommend these.

My favorite boots of all time!!
LOVE theses boots. I have had these for a few years and would buy again in a second. They are so comfortable, and because of the rubber footbed, they are great for walking and riding. My trainer loves them as well because of the flexible footbed and you can really use your feet and ankles well while riding in them. I wear them every day all day. I get them wet when hosing off horses and they repel water well, I have never had any water get inside to my foot. HIGHLY recommend.

I will get them again
My favorite winter boots! I got these in fall of 2020 and they are going to be used in their fourth NE Ohio winter season this year! I ride every day, and they have taken a beating for sure but they are still holding up! I wear thick socks in them and have warm feet for the 3+ hours I spend at the (unheated) barn every day. I will absolutely get another pair once the current pair finally calls it quits.

The zipper concerns are real…
Love these but all the concern about the zipper is unfortunately real.
I previously had the Ariat Coniston boots which are similar but much more expensive so I figured I would give these a go. They are very similar and good quality. I bought in February in Indiana and I did notice that they were not as warm as the insulated Ariat boots but they kept my feet real dry and they were comfortable! The memory foam is for real and the ankle was only slightly annoying to break in.
BUT THEN….3 months later the zipper busted while I was riding. So sad! I know these arnt $500 boots but I was hoping the zipper would last longer than that.
