Really helps!
My hunter has been on this for about 2 months now. Normally a really sweet & forgiving guy, he got horribly cranky having to stay inside with all the rain this Spring. My trainer thought he might be getting ulcers. We gave him Ulcerguard for a few days and then switched to this in his SmartPaks for maintenance. I’m sold on it. He was quickly back to his sweet, quirky self and has stayed that way despite MORE rain. What a difference!

No difference
Have had my mare on this product for almost half a year. shes showing signs now of ulcers or discomfort. supplement seems to be showing no support as stated. sucking back under saddle, kicking out to leg and tacking up. not gaining weight.

Definitely saw noticeable difference.
My mare (6 yo old ranch / rope / cowhorse ) was showing signs of stomach distress during performance times and having a problem when cinching up. I had tried digestive supps many times before - probiotic based, etc - but didn't really see any difference. Had been recommended getting her scoped for ulcers but wanted to avoid the hefty vet charge so I tried this first. Seriously huge difference! I went through one tub during a particular stressful travel time hauling to Arizona from a northern climate to go rope for a month and she showed no signs of stomach stress. I fed two scoops / day. Going on second tub. Not super interested in eating plain but perfect mixed with even a little grain.

Prevent recurrence
After a very expensive ulcer treatment for my new mare I put her on U-Gard to prevent a recurrence. Having no prior experience with horses having ulcers - I was quite surprised at the change in her demeanor after treating her. Much calmer and relaxed. I’m very pleased and thankful she is no longer in discomfort.

Really Works!
I used this on my warmblood who showed symptoms of ulcers while riding and saw a major improvement in his general demeanor. I switched to a cheaper brand for a bit and immediately saw his symptoms come back. I put him back on this & will keep him on it from now on!! My guy is a picky eater & loves this stuff :)

Helps with upset tummy.

Great for keeping ulcers at bay
I've used this for several months now on an OTTB with ulcers. After treating with gastroguard, put him on UGard for maintenance. He's doing great! After researching all the supplements that are proven to help reduce ulcer occurrence, found this supplement to contain most of them.. Great value too at <$20/month!!

This stuff really works after Ulcerguard course
I put one of my babies into training and between the moving and the stress of having to do something other than graze in a field, he developed ulcers. I did a 30 day treatment of Omeprazole from racehorsemeds.com (much cheaper btw) but didn't want a relapse so I put him on this. He is doing well with no indication of ulcers returning. I can touch his girth area and behind his withers and put a saddle on him no problem - these were things I just could not do before treatment. I plan to keep ordering this product. Very cheap alternative to dealing with a cranky horse that is in pain.

My horse enjoys the pellets way more than the powder. Used the powder to start as it was more potent but use the pellets to help maintain a happy tummy.

Superior product!
I've used this for years, on so many horses! It's super palatable, and an affordable preventative for gastric issues. My current performance horse has been on this for over a year, and will be on it forever! We haul and compete quite a bit, so I feed her this knowing her tummy is protected.

Simply work!
I’ve had my busy upper level horses on this for a few years and it makes all the difference. No runny poos, and horses usually could get half the grain ration I was having to feed without it. Shiny coats and great hooves are also a plus. Recently recommended to a student with an OTTB reviving from rounds of antibiotics for Lyme (after ulcerguard treatment finished) who just wasn’t putting on the weight like he should have. Made a noticeable difference in manure in three days, started putting serious weight back on in a month. I’ll always have this in my feeding program!

Wonderful product!
This is my second bucket of Ugard which was recommended by my vet after my boy underwent a drastic change of personality during the winter. He was diagnosed with ulcers which we treated with Gastrogard. The vet suggested this as an ongoing supplement. My kid is back to his usual self.... a tad onery but not lunging at people and attempting to have them for dinner! So glad I purchased this product. No problems in feeding this so it must be fairly palatable.

Great Product!
I bought the U-Gard pellets for my thoroughbred who came to me with ulcers. After a round of UlcerGuard paste, I decided to put him on the U-Gard pellets, 1 scoop twice a day and he hasn't shown any signs that the ulcers have returned! (knock on wood!). He wasn't so sure about the taste at first, but he now eats them in his AM & PM grain without any trouble.

Affordable and easy to use

My rescue horse started to develop ulcers....
My rescue horse started to develop ulcers in training. She started acting out, I started treating her for ulcers and digestive upset. This helped. I also soon pulled her from the boarding and trainer. She is much better now.

So far so good!
We have a pony that had colic issues twice in one month. Treated for ulcers and now we keep her on this all the time as a preventative measure. No further colic issues....knock wood!! Will maintain all year round on the U-Gard. Its inexpensive and she eats it easily!
