Don’t really have an opinion yet
I was using platinum performance osteon. Which is an excellent product but you have to get an awful lot of it and it’s a powder and my horses were not a fan so I decided to try this product and so far no opinion I mean they’re eating it. But I haven’t seen a difference at all. Way better price point as well as the fact that they will eat it because it’s a pellet.

Not palatable
I was really hoping that this supplement was going to work for my horse, but unfortunately it is a huge hassle to try to get her to eat it. I have a friesian/draft horse that eats literally anything and she went off her grain from the supplement. It smells very strange too. I’m not sure if I had a bad batch of it or some thing but it has a very very strong unpleasant odor to it. I have had to come up with all sorts of ways to try to get her to eat her grain which is really inconvenient as I board and feedings have to be simplified. Going to try switching to the smart stride ultra and see how that goes instead.

Great product thank you smartpak
Bought the 12 lb tub while my horse was on stall rest and then rehab after a p1chip removal and bone spur on his front leg.
I can tell you he grew hoof like crazy and I'm not sure how much it helped but I felt better adding it to his feed for added support... he is now full turnout and riding with no issues
So I recommend, I asked my vet and surgeon and both said that smartpak does there research so it won't hurt anything but my wallet!
I'm glad I used it for my peace of mind!

Horse had reaction to them
I bought this for my colt that has gone through 2 surgeries for an injury and unfortunately it caused him severe diarrhea. It took over a week after stopping the supplement for him to return to normal.

Fixing my yearling!
On the advice of a client I bought these smart osteo pellets for OCD in my yearling Arabian colt. Within 3 weeks his lameness and heat in his pasterns stopped and he became National Champion Sport Horse!!!

THIS STUFF WORKS!!!!!
my horse fractured her neck in August and we weren't even sure if she was going to make a full recovery. I called up Smartpak and ask them what supplement I should try and they recommended this one. I was a little skeptical at first but after three months and getting an x-ray and seeing how much healing has happened I am extremely happy with the results. I know it's hard to see but even the vets are very pleased with her recovery and the bone is healing very nicely. I highly recommend the supplement for anyone who has a fracture or just needs extra bone strength. This stuff works incredibly well and I will be keeping my mare on it for a while!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome Supplement!!
I am into my second month of using this supplement and I cant begin to explain how great it has been. My horse Shrek had been diagnosed with a spot in his hock that was almost a hairline fracture, right away I started the search for a supplement that would help maintain and heal. With the help of this supplement and stall rest he was back to his normal self and after taking some X-rays he was cleared by the vet to begin work again. If anyone is to ever ask me about a bone health supplement I would recommend this one in a heartbeat!

Must be working working!
My colt was diagnosed with severe OCD in both stifles and patella damage about a month ago. Multiple vets were telling me to put him down and his damage is signficant enough that he may not even be a candidate for surgery. He was hopping three legged lame and not bearing weight on one leg for going on 3 weeks. I put him on this supplement as a last ditch effort and within 5 days he started bearing weigh enough to start giving the other leg a break which was a concern the vets expressed. He is certainly not cured and will now need the surgery but today I received my first 30 day auto shipment refill so I took a video of him turned out and can say he is trotting and cantering normally again which we did not think might ever happen, he still stands funny on it and there is still swelling in the joint but this has to be helping him, the difference in a month is profound. He did also receive acupuncture in this time, but I think added to the regular course of treatment this product is making a difference for sure. He eats it right up!

Great Bone Supplement BUT no Phosphorus?????
I love SmartPak Supplements, soo fresh. However, I was shocked when I realized this bone supplement has no Phosphorus, you need to add phosphorus & it will be PERFECT. I had to actually buy another supplement with Phosphorus in it with my growthy 6 month old to balance Physitis issues. This supplement is not totally balanced without Phosphorus.
