SmartFlex Senior Herb-Free Pellets are designed to provide well-rounded joint support for older horses. This herb-free version of SmartFlex Senior is ideal for older horses that compete.
For joint support, SmartFlex Senior Herb-Free Pellets provide 8,000 mg of glucosamine, 700 mg of chondroitin sulfate, 75 mg hyaluronic acid, and 12,000 mg of MSM. This formula also contains 500 mg of the amino acid phenylalanine to help address stiffness and discomfort associated with aging. And because senior horses benefit from extra antioxidants, this supplement also contains vitamin C and super oxide dismutase. Your horse will love these tasty pellets! Picky eaters aproved!

Very Pleased
I have been using this for two months now and I am very pleased with my results. My mare has always had some hock soreness and this has greatly improved her performance. She is much more comfortable and I feel better about each and every ride. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a joint supplement. This is money well spent!

Fast results!
Our 18 year old quarter horse was getting stiff and had limited motion. We placed him on the supplement and within a month he was back to his normal self. He is a great horse for younger rides, and we are pleased he's riding again with the kids.

My Mare Thanks You!
I was searching unsuccessfully for a joint product for my 27 year old mare that did not contain herbal remedies such as Yucca, Devil's Claw, Boswalia, etc. I was at an event where the SmartPack representatives were present and was introduced to this wonderful product. It was exactly what I was looking for and my mare is definitely feeling much better. My mare was choosing which days she felt like going out in the pasture with her buddies, but now, even though she still has some good days and some bad days at her age, she whinnies daily to go join her pasture mates and trots in and out more than before to be with them! Thank you, SmartPack for formulating a product that works wonders for my special girl!

Happy Seniors
I bought this product back in September and am very very pleased with it! My senior horse has more via and vigor! Results have been less stiffness/lameness and bouncing back much quick from a ride.

So far so good
Just started Emma our 24 yr old OTTB on this about a month ago. She had previously been on Cosequin ASU but wanted to give this a try. She's still quite spry for an older mare & is being ridden 5-6 days a week & shows about once a month. She can be quite picky with her food and does not mind the flavor at all, which I was a little worried about. It's still a little early to see how well she's going to benefit from this, which is why I'm at 4 stars not 5. Will update once she's on it a little longer .

What I was looking for
I tried this product because it had increased joint supplement and probiotics in one product. Previously I had my 13yr QH mare on SmartFlex I and Probios separate. She was still having popping sounds in her left hock. Since I have started SmartFlex Senior Herb Free about a month ago, she is no longer having popping sounds. Will continue to use this product!

Smartflex senior herb free pellets
I just started using these pellets a little over a month ago, and my horse loves them! not only that, I noticed a huge improvement in his gait. I highly recommend this product. Riddler is also on Adequan once a month and this joint supplement seems to go great with the Adeguan for a longer lasting relief.

Potential
I don't know that one month of my mare being on this supplement is enough time to say it has had time to show a difference. I DO think it is helping her. Has her movement gotten as free and flowing as I hope that the supplement will make her, no but again, I was going to give it a full 90 days to show improvement before deeming it failure or a positive success. Therefore, I don't feel as though I can truly rate this product fairly at this time.

Really Works
I started the smart back about two months ago and I'm never going back to not using it. I have a Tennessee walking horse that has lameness in his left foreleg. I still compete with this horse but it has been a struggle with his ouchie foot. This product took the inflation off the edge and gave my guy back his spunk fast! Super impressed. While I don't ride rated shows, I compete locally with him in just about everything from jumping, cattle sorting, and trail trails. I am feeling fabulous now that I have my buddy back! The smart packs are super benefit for a person keeping their horse at a boarding stable as the pellets never get mixed up and the proportions are always right.

Didn't work for me :(
I bought this 2 months ago and the first month was great! But the second month on the smartpak my horse was lame again... His second month of smart paks have done nothing at all. I am very disappointed in it! :( Since smart paks didn't work and my horse hasn't been able to work much from his lameness he has been sold as a companion.... Overall, very disappointed.

I've now had my horse on this for a month and he has honestly never felt better. He is a 19 year old Irish Sport Horse and was previously a bit stiff, but that has been completely remedied by his new smartpaks!

Helping older mare after tendon injury
My mare incurred a tendon injury this past winter and was laid up. When I put her back to work I tried several supplements but this one is working the best. She seems
freer in her movements. I will keep her on this from now on. Also love that it is herb free.

Works Great
My 21 Year old QH gelding was having stifle issues to the point they were sore and sensitive to the touch. He couldn't canter and trotting was just as awkward. After about 2 weeks on this supplement and on stall rest I noticed that he seemed more comfortable and after a month he was back into light work and short trail rides. He is now into his second month and is almost back to himself again. This stuff works very well.

It does what it says it does!
I had my 16 yo. all-around APHA gelding on Corta-flx for years, and I was not seeing the results I anticipated. He has been on Smart Flex Senior Herb-Free for one month and is acting like a two-year-old again! No more grumpiness, no more stiffness. He was also having a stifle issue and this has helped immensely. After showing WP, HUS, Trail, and Showmanship for 13+ years, he is still able to compete and I am going to thank SmartPak for that!

Great joint supplement
My horse was very stiff this past winter. He is an 11 year old OTTB who has never had lameness issues before but this winter was unseasonably cold and he didn't handle it well. All of the horses were pretty much parked by the round bale all day and he was getting very stiff. The vet said there were no soundness issues, and with riding he would work out his stiffness so we decided to try smartpak senior herb free (since we want to show). So glad we did. I noticed a change after the second month, he was moving much better and no longer had the stiffness at the beginning of a ride.

Switched From Smartflex Resilience III
We put our 16 year old pony who competes in local hunter schooling shows on Smartflex Resilience lll to help with hock stiffness. He became much more willing and his gait was more fluid after a few weeks on that product. After a couple of months, I switched him to Smartflex Senior Herb Free to see if we could have the same great results with a less expensive product. So far he is doing equally well on this product.

I tried the smart flex senior on my horse. He wasn't always happy with the herbs. I switched him about a month ago to the smart flex senior herb free. He likes it and his joints haven't been giving him problems this winter and he spends a lot of time out in the pasture
