Worked very quickly
I have been feeding the Resilience III pellets with very good results, but lately noticing a bit more "snapping and popping" sounds coming from my girl's joints (hock and/or stifle) before and after work. Thought it might be of benefit to up the ingredients, so started her on the Smartflex IV Ultimate pellets. Very quickly stopped hearing any noise.

Wonderful product!
I have been giving this in combination with the Bute-Less pellets and I am so thrilled with the results! My mate has been on them for about 2 months and I can see and feel a huge improvement! Not only in her back end which used to be so stiff and uncomfortable for but in her attitude to! She enjoys her work so much more and I'm so happy with my purchase!

Vey pleased so far!
Danny is startign his 2nd month on the SmartFlex IV pellets. It has everything I could want in a joint product - at (or higher than) the levels need to be for optimum results. I also like the extras like biotin, pre & pro biotics, omegas etc.

This stuff really works - I've tried different joint supplements over the years and never really thought that they did much, however, the difference in my 2 older driving large ponies after just a week on this supplement was significant. One is 21 and would be retired without this. Gait is more fluid, and desire to work has increased to feeling like her old self. She has been on it for a month. I will be stepping down to level III to save a little money and hope it works nearly as well, but would go back to this if not. Time will tell. Only negative is price!

Love this product!
This is our second month on this product.it is working great on our triple regigered show horse . We started with the bulk bag but now have the a smart pack and it's do easy at feeding time!

AH-mazing, no really, I'm not kidding.
Starting using this product 3 months ago. Gave up on Cosequin which my arthritic mare had been on for 5 yrs and honestly, there were zero changes while on Cosequin. Even if the Cosequin were merely for maintanence, I thought it wouldn't hurt to try something different. So I researched and read all the ingredients in the Smartflex IV and figured I'd give it a try... really, what's the worst, I'd have to go back to Cosequin?
Here it is 3 months later and my usually lame 10yr old OTTB is as sounds as can be... it's something short of a miracle. I'm at the point where I have to whisper my excitement for fear of it coming and biting me in the keister. Will this work for every horse? Don't know. Does it work for my horse? Indeed, it does.
My mare is SOUND and eats the Smartflex IV up. Need I say more?

Awesome and effective
Have had multiple horses on the product at this point. But first tried it with a middle aged event horse that I never found a huge difference in any of the supplements he was previously on. Went into the retail store back when the smartsupplements first came out after trying everything on the market and was offered a first month discounted and money back guarantee and have never looked back! I suggest the supplement in its various levels to friends and clients on a regular basis!

terrible smell, but ingredients are top notch
I wanted to try this product because the ingredients are fantastic. Everything and more that one would want in a joint supplement. Only one of my horses ate it in his pellets and the other one would eat it only if mixed with O&M. I used it for about 2 mos. so I can't say whether or not I saw an improvement. I wish the one one would've eaten it b because then I could see whether or not this would help.

So far, so good!
So, I'm an equine masseuse, very much into prevention vs. cure, and treating the whole horse to obtain better health. My 12 yo OTTB had been on oral joint supplements before with no real difference. For a while, he was on Adequan injectable only. Usually, about 2-3 weeks after his Adequan injection, he starts to feel stiff again. I only massage him about once a month right now, and his massage was four weeks ago today. I had been noticing that even with massage and Adequan, he still wasn't as free in his motion as he had become famous for (he is *extremely* comfortable). The source of his stiffness was primarily in his right stifle and hock. Cold laser helps immensely, but I can't cold laser every joint, every day, so I wanted to try daily support again. He has arthritic changes in literally every joint in his legs, previously bowed tendons (trained but never raced--bowed almost immediately in training), and wind puffs behind. For the price, I was willing to give it a try, and might even have been relieved if it didn't seem to help as it is a bit pricey. But if it does help, it's worth it to me. He's only 12, so prevention of any further joint deterioration, as well as any possible reversal of existing changes is my focus right now. I liked the fact that this supplement offers quantifiable improvements in joint health as well as anti-oxidants for overall health. Maybe it's too soon to say, but he felt FANTASTIC this weekend with no massage, laser or Adequan for the past four weeks. He also tends to get big-giant-leg cellulitis with every leg cut, and his most recent big-leg was back to normal in two days. I'm wondering if perhaps the extra anti-oxidants were responsible. Long story short, I might be stuck with the price, because it might be giving me my sweet ride back.

So far, so good.
I just switched to this in place of SmartFlex and SmartTendon Pellets. My horse gobbles them up and it's less expensive and less plastic waste.

Ease of use ( SmartPax).
Ranger just loves his SmartPax! He meets me every morning and gets really excited. So far, I have noticed him moving much better. His shoulders seem to be more free in his movement.

ingredients great!
First the smell is overpowering and my one horse won't eat it without some O&M, but my other one eats it mixed in with his pellets. I haven't noticed any change in their arthritis, but they're older, 29 & 28. I'm going to continue to give them this product for six months and see if there's any improvement. There are very few products on the market that have it all and this one seems to have everything. Hope I can see some improvement. I've given it 5 stars because of the ingredients, not efficacy because I haven't used it long enough to make a fair evaluation.

Don't bother
Update on trial with 16-year old QH with knee arthritis related to physitis. I had very poor results with this product. My horse actually got worse after moving up from the Smart Combo and Senior Combo. I had used Smart Flex III in the past with good results, though, so I would not recommend paying the extra $ to move up to this product. Some horses, like some people, do not tolerate reservatrol well, which may be the problem. I also tried giving it to another horse with sidebone issues, and he did not do well either, so I threw almost half a large bucket in the trash.

Smart Flex Senior was not working any more
I was using Smart Flex Senior on my 30+ Quarter mare which worked great for years. But recently she was coming out of her stall stiff or on her worst days refused to come out at all. So I did some research of the other joint supplements available. This one seemed more for performance horses that were riding hard but thought it was worth a try for my beloved old girl. She's a young horse again! Eyes bright and runs to me when called, which has not happened in a long time. I thought I would have to consider her end but this has been wonderful. Thank you for giving us more time!

No significant improvement
I have been using this for six weeks without any noticeable improvement over other joint supplements used. Last week, I gave this horse an additional serving of another joint supplement at lunch and Bute-Less paste 2 days a week, and he seemed much better. I will probably switch to a less expensive joint supplement with the additional serving and the paste as needed.

Great Supplement
We have a mare with degenerative hock changes. She, in general, is stiff behind. We work closely with our vet and the mare is also on Ichon. But, we definitely found a difference when I added SmartFlex IV to her diet. She is happier to work and moves more freely behind. The supplement smells good, we love the large pellets, and our mare eats it well. It's certainly more expensive than some of the alternative joint supplements, but the results justify the cost (plus the ingredients in this supplement are above and beyond the others). Thanks smartpak for helping us to keep Molly sound and happy!!

Seems to be helping the older horses
I used this on my two older geldings (24 and 27) who get used just for short trail rides, etc. I've noticed a definite improvement in the looseness of their gaits and they are moving a lot more freely.

THE BEST STUFF!!
I started my horse on this several months ago. He normally needs hock injections for competition, since being on this supplement my vet and I decided not to have them. Because we have seen improvement with him, I decided to put two other horses on this. And by the way I am a barrel racer and so far not one of my horses have injections.

Keeping my older horse feeling good!
I started my 20 year old thoroughbred on this product almost one month ago, and it is working! So far, he is noticeably more agile and less stiff, and the "clicking" sounds that come from his joints are greatly decreased. This is a great product, with the only drawback being that it is expensive. It seems that most people use this product for their older horses, which can be hard to justify given the cost. At this point I am inclined to say that this product is worth the money as it will probably keep my old buddy happily serviceable for more years to come.

results!
Started using this a few years ago and can absolutely see the results in my QH WP gelding. Have recommended to numerous friends who agree! Cosequin didn't yield results. Have the Xrays over 4 years to show joint health improvement for my guy! Will never take him off this!

Didn't work like we thought it would
I bought this to help my 23 yr old mare out but it didn't work like we thought it would. She had been on smart flex senior herb free and we tried this because it had more good ingredients in it and we thought it would help ease her joint discomfort more. We saw no improvement at all, if anything she was worse so we are back to smart flex senior. It wasn't worth the cost to me, maybe it works for others but not my horse. She ate it great, but it was just really expensive and didn't do anything. We also used this for the recommended time and saw no difference.

Great product!
I started using SmartFlex IV a few months ago after my OTTB was experiencing lameness issues. He would limp at the trot and look so sad after a ride. After I began giving him the supplement he moved better than ever and he was not in pain after a long ride.

Great Joint Product
I came back to SmartPak's Smart Flex IV Ultimate Pellets from Platinum Performance and let me tell you, I should have never left! Havana Royal likes these better and cleans ALL of them up!
