Didn’t really notice a difference at all
I bought the 56 day bag and have used it for 50 days so far on my aged gelding who had been a little more spunky and “crazy” this winter than normal. I usually use the paste at shows to take the edge off and thought the pellets may help. I have not noticed any difference in my horse and actually kept track of the number of scoops I used and only got 51 out of the bag, when it says 56! I won’t be using this again, it just didn’t make any noticeable difference.

Helps with a nervous horse
This product has helped my horse with his nerves. It as not taken all the nervousness out of him but you can tell it makes a huge difference. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a calmer horse.

SUPER AWESOME PRODUCT!!
I'm not kidding...my husband was ready to get rid of his 19 year old Tennessee Walker due to his barn sour, high strung, powerful will. After 3 days of taking SmartCalm, his horse seemed calmer, more attentive and manageable. This product helped my husband and his horse develop a rider/horse relationship that he never thought was possible! I swear by this product . . !!

Big improvement!

Miracle worker
I bought this for a horse I am training. This was really one of her last options. The lady that I am riding her for has back issues and this horse was spooking, had random bucking fits and this was even on the ground. She would be just tied up and rear up. She came down with a virus last week. After having an entire week off, this horse was taken off property. She was perfect without lunging. Sliding stops, spins, rollbacks. It was perfect. I’m so glad this supplement works.

Product that works!
I bought this product for my barrel racing mare and the results have been awesome. We went from always having the turbo jets on even during just leisurely arena work to being able to trot and lope nice calm collected circles without the extra flare all the time. She still kicks the turbo jets on when asked and has taken nothing away from her ability to race and be competitive but she is definitely more even tempered now. Easy going into the gate at races, easy to warm up and so much more pleasurable to ride during the week. Love this product!

My 5 year old tb had been getting a bit more frisky and spooky than he had been in warmer months (which was expected), so I put him on this hoping it would help take the edge off and within ththe first 4 days I saw great results. He is more relaxed, focus and willing to listen! I'm so happy I started him on smartcalm he loves it and it doesn't break the bank!

helped a little
She has been taking this for 5 months and I think there was some relaxation effect from it. Inattention is not her problem; it is more like over-focus. Now that winter is here, she has explosive energy and she is only eating grass hay and has lots of time outside. I am thinking about the Ultra, but on the other hand maybe she is who she is?

Saw Noticeable Change
I have a wonderful hunter who is 7 years old. About 2 months ago I started him on SmartCalm. As we are coming into the winter months, I thought of last year when he was horrible and unpredictable, (even with Full Traning). This is not good for a 52 year old amateur!
Great news! The pellets r working! I know this, because he is as happy as the rest of the year, but it not suddenly spooking, or bucking as he did last year. And he is even better on our trail rides through all the “scary” areas. I would recommend SmartCalm to any equestrian looking for the results we got. I plan on continuing its use even after the winter months!

Works wonders for my horse
I’ve had my horse on SmartCalm ultra pellets for a few months and it worked wonders to relax her within a few days. I no longer needed long rides to settle her. I switched to the SmartCalm, and she is still doing great.

Not what I had hoped for.
Purchased for my 9 year old rescue gelding, who carries tension generally and experiences boredom in his diet pen. Hoped to see decreased tension and increased relaxation. Alas, no quick fix here. I'm opted to spend my money on joint and coat supplements instead. I did order the SmartCalm paste to try.

Not the best so far
I have an OTTB who has plenty of energy and can also get pretty nervous and unfocused when he is away from his barn buddies (in and out of the arena). I have had him on SmartCalm for about 2 months now and I haven't seen much improvement. The only time he seems lazier than usual is as soon as I get on him to warm him up. After that, he is back to his old self. He isn't terrible in general but I was hoping that this would help him focus more. I am going to keep him on it for awhile longer to see if he just needs to be on it for a longer period of time. I will update when I have more news.

First month but it's working!
I started my mare on this a month ago, she's not really "hot" per say but did have some issues with focus and was easily agitated. She's still the sassy little mare I know and love but is much more patient under saddle and seems more focused on what I'm asking her to do instead of busy complaining about every little thing. I plan to keep her on this supplement long term and I hope the results continue!

Worked but....
I put my very reactive thoroughbred on Smartcalm. I could definitely tell he wasn't freaking out as much and recovered quicker when he did spook. After being on Smartcalm for about 3 weeks I noticed he was covered in hives. The only thing in his life that had changed was putting him on the Smartcalm so I took him off. Within a few days his hives went away. So, unfortunately, hes allergic to something in this supplement but it was helping with his nerves while under saddle.

Worked great!

Takes the edge off
This supplement works well when you just need to take the edge off a horse's nerves without dulling them out. If you need a significant change I would recommend the smart calm ultra, but the smart calm will nicely bring them down a notch.

Great stuff
Purchased this product for one of my horses that is on stall rest. It really helped her to stay more calm. I also tried on my other 2 mares, one is also on mare magic for bad heat circles and one that can not have mare magic that was having a bad heat circle, It worked great on both. I have notices my horses are more relaxed and stay focused more. I noticed a change in 2 weeks in all 3 of my mares!!!! :) I am very happy with this product. A freind at my barn noticed the change in my mares and has started her horse on it also.

WOW! What a difference!
I'm serious guys, my horse had become practically unrideable because of his anxiety before I put him on this supplement. He was previously on Smart Tranquility, which worked for a while, but soon his fears began to be all-consuming and he was constantly on the brink of becoming dangerous. Just a week into consuming Smart Calm, he's become a gentleman and a scholar! I have a completely new horse! I cannot recommend this supplement enough!
