Our horse is a rescue and came loaded with parasites. According to his fecal he is now free of strongyles eggs. He was a little extra gassy but the extra meds over 5 days didnt seem to effect his performance.

Safe and hopefully effective
Purchased this to remove encysted small strongyles in my horse's gut. Supposed to be as effective as Quest in this regard, but gentler to the digestive system. Can't tell if it works as my horses have always been low shedders. I do it for the added insurance of getting all the worms out of my horses' guts.

Worked for me!
My first time giving a PowerPac. My horse wasnt thrilled about it, but what horse is? My best tip would be to split the dose up in two halves and give it that way - the first day I tried to do it all at once and ended up getting a fair amount all over his lips and my hands. Within a day or two after finishing the dose, I could tell a difference!

Effective Product
This product does exactly what it says it does! I highly recommend it. As far as the taste goes, my horses hate it. By the 3rd day, they're running to the back of their stalls when they see me holding the tube in my hand. But, they hate every dewormer paste I give them. Also, all the vets I know recommend I use this product. Definitely buy it! It's worth it!

Powerpac = Bloom
I Powerpac my barrel horses every year to make sure they stay on top of their game and look their best. It is great for horses that are hard keepers to help them bloom.

Great Product
Great product - really ensures your horse is free of any unwanted critters - and is not harsh on their stomach. Post PowerPac fecal test came back squeaky clean! A couple notes - each tube is for a horse that is 2500 lbs! Which unless you have a draught horse is likely not the case. Also, the tubes are very large in diameter.

Pony loved this stuff!!
We have 15 horses on the farm that all tested negative for worms via fecal samples except for one 11 hand pony...weird. Recommended by the vet, I purchased the Panacur Powerpak for her. The pony is always ok for paste worming, but this stuff she LOOOOVED, lol! I gave it 5 days in a row, and it's alot of daily paste! After the 2nd day, this pony was looking for the tube and sucking on it when I came into the stall! Can't tell the results until the next fecal test, but as far as taste, apparently it's quite yummy, for ponies anyways!

Great product
My vet recommended that I use this on my horse after she lost weight during the winter. While there were other contributing circumstances I do think it helped. She's now back to her normal weight. She's normally a picky eater but this was not difficult to get into her but she does love peppermint!

Panacur Powerpac
Well, my filly took all the does without a problem and we are waiting to re-sample her manure to check the egg count. She was at a very high 1328, that is why we chose the Panacur Powerpac.

Good stuff
I just got a new Thoroughbred and had to give him the Panacur series for his new home. My trainer always recommends this wormer program for a new horse coming in. He took it just fine. I've never had a problem with administering it so it must be pretty good if he's eating it!

spring worming
My vet recommended I use this on my yearling colts, and I'm waiting to see if they bloom a bit more in this slow spring.

Wormer works great
Wormer was very easy to administer. My horse didn't seem to mind the taste, especially since he had to take it for 5 days straight!

Definitely worth trying
My ottb just wasn't putting on weight and last spring when all of the other horses were shedding out and nice and slick, he was still holding on to patches of his winter fur. He did not look good at all! I had tried different supplements(I won't list them all!), increasing his feed, beet pulp, more hay, rice bran supplement,...you name it and I probably tried it. I could not get weight on him. Someone suggested the panacur powerpac just in case maybe there were some worms that his regular worming wasn't getting rid of. She had said that she saw a horse just totally change after doing this powerpak. I thought hey, worth a try. Shortly after I did the powerpak I also consulted with a biochemist who specializes in feed for the top racehorses. I put him on her feed and supplements, and I believe a combination of the powerpak plus getting him on a more specialized feed, the weight finally went on and he hasn't lost any since. I actually have had to cut his feed back a bit because he was almost looking a little chubby over the winter! Anyway, highly recommend.

just completed the treatment
since i just completed this, can't say if my horse will improve or not, though he was good to begin with, and i would expect could only get better with a good worming. this was easy to administer, and even mr. picky accepted it! i was expecting the opposite, so am really happy it went so well. didn't make him feel bad during the treatment, so i was glad of that as well, though i still gave him the week off. would use it again as needed.

Could be a great product but ...
I didn't get the results I'd hoped for. My horses are on a daily dewormer, but are still thinner than I'd like. They've seen the dentist (uber expensive - not just a float), been treated for ulcers (uber expensive), get great hay (uber expensive), get 9 pounds of Ultium a day (uber expensive), and get 8 ounces of Ultimate Finish 100 a day. I was really hoping the relatively inexpensive Powerpac was going to do the trick. But, sadly, it didn't. So, as I said, it could be a great product, but it's obviously not what's keeping my horses from reaching their ultimate weight.

April & October, use it every year!
For as long as I've owned my own horses, I've done the April/October rounds of a Panacur Powerpac. It really gets everything, and half-way through the doses I can really tell a difference in my horses.

Great Value!
The Panacur Powerpac is great as a "boost" to your rotational worming program. We also use it in single tubes as a "double strength" in our rotational program. We save quite a bit purchasing it this way rather than single tubes.

Good idea
Pancur power is an effective and safe way of removing long-term bots. It is the first time I have used this product (I used it on both horses- one mustang and one Friesian). The stool quality improved immediately. I plan to use this product yearly with my animals.
That said, it's pretty expensive. I hope it goes down in price. The horses hate being wormed and after the second day get progressively harder. I got good at sneaking in and catching them off guard.

Great buy !
We 'Power Pak' our horses once a year to clean them out of any possible stubborn worms.
Smartpak's Powerpak has done a wonderful job. On fecal counts our horses are clean and we don't have to worry that we are missing things that will harm them in the future. A great buy for a necessary product!

it works
My 25 yo mare, even though being wormed on a regular basis, had high count of worms when i had received the results of her fecal sample. She had lost a lot of weight. Within a month of using the power PAC she gained it back. Great product and works.

Worked Great!
My horse was underweight and had a very dull coat, during my semi-yearly vet exam, the vet asked to take a fecal sample to see if any parasites were present (which would lead to his low weight) -- the tests came back and he showed signs of parasites living in the walls of his intestines. I was upset because I religiously give my horse his monthly wormer, but that didnt cut it. After doing this Power Pak, I IMMEDIATELY saw improvement. He was much less irritable and had started gaining weight and has gotten a much shiner and healthy looking coat. This product worked great. My horse didn't mind taking it either, the dosage is pretty large so it was a lot for him to take at one time, but he didn't mind the taste.

Seems to work
I give my horse a power pack once a year and it seems to get the job done. I've never had a problem with worms so far. My horse is never thrilled to get it but if I was him I wouldn't be thrilled either.
