Glanzen 3 review
So far my horse has only been on this supplement for two weeks, but so far so good. He seems comfortable, and his hooves are remaining in the good state they were in from the Smarthoof Ultra. I switched to Glanzen because of the higher concentration of zinc, as he is infection/abscess prone. The only reason I don't rate it as excellent is because of the amount you have to feed of this compared to the Smarthoof Ultra. The Smarthoof Ultra is one Smartpak "cup" full, whereas the Glanzen takes four, which makes it more bulky in the Smartpak drawer and is more for the horse to eat. However, my horse is VERY picky, and he gobbled it right up the first time. I am now waiting a month or two to see if anything else changes and will rate it again then.

This One Does It All!
We have used Glanzen 3 with our QH Appendix for about 2 years. It is a wonderful all-round hoof and coat supplement. We regularly receive compliments on his shiny coat and he has never had an issues with his hooves.

Not What I Expected
My vet told me to purchase this for my filly's hooves after the major drought we had this past summer and since her hooves had started cracking. I wasn't satisfied with it at all, never seemed to help her. Although my friend has her two belgians on it and it works for them okay, I never saw results with mine. Planning on switching to a different hoof supplement and condition with liquid hoof conditioners (which by the way has done miracles for her feet).

Great Results
I love this product. After my horses have been on this product now since July I see a super healthy shine to all of their coats. Starting to see an improvement in hoof condition. Overall great product.

The only hoof supplement I will ever use.
I have been in the horse business for 30 years and have struggled with various hoof quality issues over the years. With the additon of two TB's with really lousy feet - shelly, brittle hoof walls, spongey frogs and thin soles - and with no improvement from other supplements I did some research and discovered Glanzen 3. Both horses were unable to keep their shoes on for any longer than a few weeks, the nail holes broke apart and barefoot was not an option at all. In just 10 weeks noticeable improvement was noted from my farrier. After 6 months on Glanzen 3 both are maintaining their shoes and both no longer need sole pads of any sort. This is now the only hoof supplement I use and will and have recommended it to many people.

Glanzen 3
It's been four months of using this supplement and my TB's hoof are looking great. He has very slow growing, brittle and cracked hoofs. You can see the line were the new hoof is and the old hoof remains. They look very healthy and strong. Couple more trims and we should be good.
I do have to mix the Glenzen 3 with beat pulp, water and grain for him to eat it and he eats it right up then.

I've only just received this product. My horse has a serious hoof wall problem and I'm sure will take some time to see some results. The smart hoof ultra did not help. I've been using that for over a year.

Best Purchase Ever!
After reading the comparisons in the smart pack catalog I decided to try Glanzen 3. My horses love it! they lick their buckets clean! I can already see results in their coats and look forward to seeing how it improves on hoof condition.

Solid performer
I have been using this for about 2 years now, adn it has made a noticeable difference for my Appy's dull coat and poor hooves. Her coat now gleams, and we see much less splitting of her hooves and ragged frogs. Looks better all around

From Field to Showring
Took a field stud and with the help of SmartPak had his coat gleaming. This took a washed out black horse to dappled and the shine is amazing. Nothing but compliments, this was done on inexpensive feed and orchard grass! His hooves took longer but are in much better shape as well, no need for two products.

Great Purchase
My friend told me about this product for my horses hoofs. Indy (my horse) loves the taste and I like the consistance for the grain. You can see the ground flax seed in the product. Along with everything else.
I've only been using this product for about a month and so far so good. I'm waiting to see what the farrier says when he sees my horses feet.

Nice product
I've been using this product in some form for a few years now... it is also in horsetech's reitsport products that also contain a joint supplement. I like that it has a fair amount of biotin in it and a nice quantity of Omega 3's...along with a B-vitamin pack and mineral package as well.

DAPPLES! DAPPLES! ALL YEAR LONG!
The pony looks as if he has oil dripping from his hooves! He has dapples all year long and his golden coat does not fade in the hot Texas sun! He also has a better attitude when on the product from the B vitamins! Much less ponytude! I have had people ask how much Show Sheen I use because he is so soft and shiny! I tell them "it's the Glanzen!" Aragon gives it two hooves up!!!

Love the Product
I been using the product for the past 3 years and it is the greatest. Since it is 3 products in one the cost is alot more economical in this down ecomony and it works. Every spring when I remove my ponies blankets everyone thinks that I body clipped her. I owe it all to this product. And since ponies can be alittle high strung at times it also keeps her mind in tack along with her hooves strong. Love it!

Quality Supplement
I have used Omega Horseshine and Bioflax 20, but I decided to switch to Glanzen 3 to get the combination of flax, biotin, zinc, and copper for healthy skin and hooves. My horses look fairly shiny even with their winter coats, and their barefoot hooves are staying strong.

I have used this product for over 2 years, and I can see a difference in my horses's coats, and they have great hooves. I believe it really helps hooves. They love the flavor too. The price is reasonable compared to other comparable supplements. I have bought directly from HorseTech.com until this time. This was the first time buying it from SmartPak. SmartPak is $6 cheaper than buying from HorseTech direct - as long as you get free shipping. HorseTech is great to work with too, fast shipping, and a bag of "people" cookies with each order! :-)

Top Quality As Always
I have purchased and used Glanzen for years, and always found it to give my horses a great shine, nice weight, and beautiful hooves. Over the past few years I've tried other products thinking I could save $$. Not only did I not save money as I combined other products to "recreate" Glanzen but it did not have the same effect. As an example, I started feeding Glanzen to my newest off track Thoroughbred 6 days ago. Already his coat has a brilliant shine, and I just body clipped him! None of that dull, recently clipped look for him...his hair is gorgeous, he loves the flavor, and it's going to work on his mane and tail! I will stick with Glanzen :)

Excellent Investment
I started using Glanzen 3 several years ago and immediately noticed the difference in my black horse's coat. He has a willing attitude and LOVES the taste. When I m feeding him, the dogs like to lick out the SmartPak's too. Everyone in the family enjoys Glanzen 3!

Awesome Product!
I decided to try this product because I wanted a good hoof and coat supplement that had all these ingredients in one. My horse's barefoot hooves were chipping and he had some dandruff and dull coat (even on Omega Horseshine). I have had him on Glanzen 3C now for 6 weeks and his hooves are no longer chipping, and his winter wooly coat is very sleek, shiney, and dandruff free now. He is also more calm and seems to be just generally a happier horse (he wears his ears forward most of the time now)! He eats all of it just mixed in with his grain. Thank you for making such a great supplement that addresses several issues all in one. It's fantastic!

I have to tell you! My farrier and I have been trying to get my horses hooves together for 3 years. When he comes out to shoe him Sonny's (12 year old paint gelding) feet would chip and crack. Even after being shoed his feet would look terrible. But the amazing thing is that he is always sound. I was on the Biotin kick. And not that it is bad but my shoer kept saying the best thing for strong hooves is methionine so i went to the smart pak guide and found that glanzen 3 has the highest amount of this. 6 monthes ago I started Sonny on glanzen 3 and today his hooves are strong, not chipping or cracking and my shoer and I feel we have finally found the miracle hoof replacement supplement. Sonny is doing great working hard chasing cows 2-3 days a week and heading out for long trail rides with hooves that are strong with no cracks or chips. I highly reccommend this product and tell everyone about it.. Not to mention his coat is sooo shiny my friends call him fabio because he is the shinest happiest horse around..

Effective and obviously Tasty!
Great Product; for my 12 yr old dressage horse; I have noticed a HUGE difference not only in his coat but in his mane and tail as well; the hair is softer; glossy and smooth; I think his hair is also growing faster since this product started. I've had to bang his tail three times in the last 6 months because it was touching the ground and I didn't want him to back up and rip hairs out!
I have also been able to remove the shoes from him while using this product and haven't had any cracks or problems with hooves being too dry or too soft.
My horse is not a particularly picky eater but he seems to like this supplement more then just ignoring it/overlooking it in his feed. He's actually stollen the empty SmartPaks when they are left within reach and licks the plastic wells out; so he obviously does not object to the taste and thinks it's some kind of horse treat.
Definately recommend this product it is a nice 'Over-all' 'All-In-One' supplement that improves the way your horse looks (and in my opinion) feels as well! :)
