Rated 5 out of 5 by from Farrier's Formula is MAGIC!! This stuff is MAGIC!! In January, my 17 yo horse came up lame for the first time. Having horses in South Florida is a LOT different from where I'm from in North Florida. It's constantly wet and we have a long rainy season. The vet came out and he was unbalanced (trimming) and his hoof had soft spots and the hoof wall was starting to separate (beginning of white line). She recommended 1) my farrier trim to the X-rays and 2) Farriers formula. It is now October and his feet are the healthiest feet I've ever seen on a horse honestly. His frog has expanded to normal parameters (shock absorption) and his hooves are hard as a rock (and we are still in rainy season). We put him on a 4 week trim cycle as well because he grows out so fast. No more sensitivity on trail rides, etc. AND it's reasonably priced which is nice. This stuff is a lifesaver - no hoof, no horse!!! Highly recommend

Had my farrier trim to my X-rays to fix the balance issue and the vet recommended Farrier's formula double strength. Within 2 months of using it, Makani's feet vastly improved. The new growth is incredible. He's now on a 4 week trim cycle and his feet are the prettiest horse hooves I've ever seen. I was going to attach a photo but I don't see that option. Anyways, his frog has expanded to a 'normal' and healthy width (shock absorption), his hoof wall is healthy again and his hooves are solid as a rock. No more sensitivity on trail rides. This stuff is a lifesaver! No hoof, no horse!! It is reasonably priced as well, making it a no-brainer!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from clumped together in a brick this is my second bag. the contents are clumped together in a solid brick. in order to measure out a quantity i have to use a hammer and give my horse a 'lump'. the first bag was dry and loose and i could scoop easy. not so this one. i do not want to pay return shipping on an already expensive heavy product. not happy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Essential in my horse's routine! My guy has been on this supplement for quite a few months. I can't 100% say every improvement in his hooves comes Farrier's Formula but it has been an integral part in his regimen. We had a dry few months and his hoof walls were strong and looked like an absolute dream the whole time, I never had to condition them or anything, ZERO cracking or splitting. His frogs have beefed up significantly too, which is the main reason I started him on FF. He had necrotic tissue from thrush and virtually no frog left, and this is one of the main reasons he has been able to grow them back. I keep him on a maintenance dose. Would recommend for any horse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saw Amazing Results! New Hooves in Four Months Due to the rainy weather, my mare's hooves fell apart and no longer could hold shoes. She had white line disease and extremely soft soles and walls. We treated her white line disease and put her on 1 1/2 scoops of this FFDS and in four months she grew an entirely new hoof. Very impressed.
