Love this product...when I get tubes not expired!
I usually deworm with Equimax every fall. I order a month or two early because sometimes there are shortages when it's time to deworm. I purchased from Smartpak because the price was good and I was already ordering other items. I was NOT pleased to receive in September 2017 tubes with an expiration date of September 2017. If I wanted such a short-dated tube, I could have ordered from another retailer for a big discount.

My go-to wormer
This is my go-to wormer. We only worm about three times a year and this is our go-to. We will rotate between this and ivermectin. Bought a yearling that ended up being pretty wormy when I picked him up; double dosed him with equimax and hit him again in two weeks and the worms were gone. Never had a worm problem at our farm.

Horse says, "Eh..." Vet says, "Yay!"
My horse didn't say, "NO," when I gave this to her. It was more of an, "Ehhhh..." Which, if you knew my horse, is pretty great. For once, I got more in her mouth than on me. Vet recommended this compound based on fecal results. 6 months later the fecal is clean. Yay! I have also used this combo/brand on many other horses with excellent results and no reactions for many, many years. Equimax all the way.

I purchased 13 tubes as I follow the recommended deworming schedule provided by Phizer. It works well and I use a double dosage for horses more than a 1000 lb.
I swear by this companies products and am glad they provide a recommended schedule for deworming as well as the type of dewormer for each occasion.

I liked that this treated multiple types of parasites. I got this for my yearling once I got him and discovered he had bot fly eggs on his legs, stomach, chest etc. Removed them and wormed him right away! I think he really liked the apple flavor too.

I could not find Equimax anywhere this spring. It is still unavailable in all local stores, but Smartpak is doing a great job getting some shipments in! Thank you Smartpak!
I used to use the other brand, but switched to Equimax a couple of years ago after my horses had adverse reactions to the other product. We have a lot of wild life mingling with our horses in pastures, so we feel, we need to deworm for tape worms, too. Horses take it OK. The lovely apple smell fooled them only once. :-)

Bought this wormer because it was the vet recommendation for this quarter's rotation. The cap was a bit difficult to get off, but otherwise easy to use. Horse's weight is given in lbs and kg. Smelled like it might be banana flavored. Price was competitive to Dover, less than other places. For palatability, well, it's wormer. He's not going to gobble it down, but he made less fuss over Equimax than others.

I bought Equimax at the recommendation of my vet for spring deworming here in Minnesota. My mares had low fecal counts to begin with, but I wanted a product that would help kill any worms they had. They are both shiny and healthy, though neither enjoyed being dewormed or the taste, Equimax seems to have worked fine and is reasonably priced.
