Great joint protection
I have had my mare on this for years. She's in intense upper level dressage training & I wanted to be proactive in saving her joints. She's never had any soundness issues related to joints & I definitely think Cosequin plays a role in this accomplishment. It's pricey, but in my mind it's worth it.

Strong product
I have used the Cosequin ASU for two months on my LARGE draft that is my primary dressage horse. Expensive, but worth the expense to ensure he is supported when his workload increases.

A new Mare Bella
I have a Mare that Developed some Artheritis. My vet recommended the cosiquin asu. I have been giving it to her for about 4 months now. She is a new horse. She is 8 years old. It really works!!

Love this product!
My 16yo Hanoverian has a torn meniscus and while it isn't completely debilitating, it can be VERY painful when it moves. Since he starting the loading dose of this product about two months ago, he feels and acts amazing in general work.
It has kept us enjoying fun rides on the trail and general ring work. Both of us are thrilled.

Not much change
Vet recommended this for my horse after a stifle injury. Didn't notice much of a change after a month. Vet said on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being most improvement, she was a 1. Switched to SmartPak Rehab as I have had success with that. I feel she's looking better already. Just because it did not work for my horse ( it worked for another horse in our barn) I would still try it if recommend by a Vet.

Smooth Sailing
I bought this product a month or so ago for my horse who has hock and joint issues. With this cold weather, especially, Cosequin has helped immensely. Love it and definitely recommend it !

Seems to keep my horses joints comfortable
It's hard to tell if this is making a difference as my 18 yo horse has been on Cosequin (without the ASU) for years. I recently switched to the Cosequin ASU product. My horse eats it right up along with his other supplements.

Great Product
I started my horse on this about 9 months or so ago and I keep coming back for more. He is allergic to various other joint supplements, but not this one. It took a little while getting used to, but once they are continuously on it you will see positive results.

Good but not as effective as injectables
I had my horse on this from September until now. I think it worked okay, but noticed he was tight in his back and it took a while to warm up. Basically he felt inconsistent coming through his back. He is 8 yrs old, and has competed successfully through training before I got him. I had the vet come out and do a lameness exam. He was sore in the hocks and left front pastern. He injected these areas and horse is now on Adequan. It ended up more cost effective to be on injectables as opposed to orals. I think this is a good product, but not for a horse like mine who had more involved joint issues.

Haven't seen any difrence
My friend gave me a two month supply of this to help my mare with some arthritis in her back. She has been on it for 6 weeks and I haven't seen even a small change her comfort I will be trying something else

overall a good product
I have several horses on Cosequin and the majority of them show improvement overall. It is not my first choice however, but not because it doesn't work. It is not my first choice because I prefer Adequan but with the limited availability and the big increase in price of the Adequan, I find Cosequin to be the next best thing to use for joint support. This stuff does work, it can be a little rough on the stomach but most horses tolerate it pretty well especially if you take the time to slowly get them used to it before you start to preload it. Preloading is very important so if you use it take the time and the money to do it. But if you go straight into preloading before getting them use to it be prepared for stomach upset.

Love it! Wish it came in pellets...
I have my 17 y/o Dutch WB on Cosequin ASU and I can tell a difference! It has really helped with his stiffness coming out in the winter and no more creaking and cracking! Even though he's 17, he jumps around like he's 5. He's never had a problem before but wanted to have him on this for extra comfort and support. And I wanted to help the creaking and stiffness in the cold months. Though, I do wish it was pelleted. For a higher priced supplement, I feel that less would be wasted; especially for picky eaters.

Not what I expected
I've heard so many great things about Cosequin and I needed to a joint supplement for my 17 year old, so I decided to try it. I didn't notice any changes with his movement at
first so I thought it would just take some time. He's been on it for 6 months and I've
only noticed a small change with his stiffness. This is not worth $60 per month.

Ease of Use
My horse refused to eat the powder when it was mixed in his feed. Only when I
added apple flavored oatmeal would he eat it. He is supposed to be on a low sugar/starch diet, so that was not acceptable.

My horse didn't like the taste
I bought this for my horses smartpaks but he didn't like the taste so he would try to pick around it. Had to change back to pellets instead of powder.

My mare has special shoes and also has degenerative joint disease and
this product has helped her lameness so she is able to light trail ride regularly.
