I'm seeing results quickly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting to try a fat supplement for our horses during the winter time. They are getting older and have begun to lose weight. We started mixing this in with their sweet feed just a few ounces and then increasing to make sure they wouldn't collic. They have done great with it and I have already noticed some weight gain in just a few weeks. This will be a great supplement to give them some weight for the winter to supplement with their hay and feed.

It put some weight on her and worked really well. It is like a white powder that i put in her grain. I think that this is good for horses who need to put on some weight.

Working great so far!

I had to of course slowly introduce it to my 25 year old Mustang, but he has taken to it well and doesn't reject it like other products. He's a hard keeper especially when his heaves kick in and even though he's already and still packed full of energy this does not seem to be making his excitement any worse for the wear. I will definitely keep purchasing this product.

Horses Love It

If the horses won’t eat it then it doesn’t matter price, effectiveness or quality. If they don’t eat it what good is it? Well they gobble it up mixed with their food and one of my horses smells everything and if it’s different then he’ll walk away. Well he didn’t. Smelled it and gobbled it up. Great product. Huge find.

I’m a believer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter’s best friend/horse is 17 years young. He was beginning to show age. Keeping weight on him has been a task for the last 6 months. Here we are in the beginning of winter we knew we had to try another route. The route we decided to try was Manna Pro Cool Calories 100. We started his regimen with the lowest recommended amount, then gradually increased. He is tolerating it very well. His winter coat is thick and shiny, and his energy is back on track. Amazing Supplement

Healthy product

It has made a difference on my horse coat and overall mood. I think the nutrients have a great impact on the overall emotional and physical well-being on animals just as humans. I got this for our older mare that just has a hard time keeping the pounds on and it works well. It doesn't require a lot of the product and the horses don't mind it mixed in with their feed. Others have recommended it and I am happy with the product.

My picky eater LOVES IT

I have tried so many different products to have him gain healthy weight and recover. I sprinkle this in his daily feed and seems to have more energy throughout the day than before. Its simple to use and apply, while giving your horse the energy they need for riding, or training.

Spooks at everything
I started my horse in this 2 months ago he had gained so much weight and now looks beautiful but my horse who was not scared of anything now spooks at everything so I’m going to take him off and see if he goes back to his normal self.

Works great! But don't forget to involve your vet!
It definitely worked to help my skinny, hard-keeper TB gain weight and she ate it right up!
My horse is in light work while she gains muscle and condition. So with the Cool Calories, her grain, and pasture, she's getting a lot of calories in, but not many calories out.
Since starting the Cool Calories, she has definitely been spicier/hotter/spookier than she was before. I don't think this supplement is making her "hot," but I do think the amount of energy she's taking in vs. what she's expending is out of balance.
My vet recommended a high-fat feed supplement that's bulkier and can replace some of her grain, so we're going to try her on that instead of the Cool Calories.
Overall, this product does exactly what it's supposed to do and the SmartPaks are very convenient! But always worth consulting with your vet to see what's right for your individual horse :)

Don’t miss a day
Have a cow that has suffered from severe digestive issues since being weaned. After successful surgery we have managed her with a strict diet and supplements that include OptiZyme daily. Would not ever miss a day of adding to her grain.

Love the results !
I've been adding this to the feed of my 21 year old spotted Saddlebred. He had fallen off weight wise and didnt seem to be wintering well. He's been in it 30 days and I can already see a difference in his top line. I ordered Smartpaks for him but I already had a bag of this. I'm feeding beet pulp, senior Safe Choice and horse feed mixed in water. I add this and mix it up. He eats it all and licks the bucket clean ! I'll have this added to his Smartpaks as soon as my bag is gone.

Amazing fast results if your horse will eat it.
I have tried this on 2 older horses one a hard keeper, picky eater, prone to ulcers. Another an older rescue starved,very underweight, malnourished, and will eat anything. The rescue I was able to add to his senior and he bloomed in a month he went from mostly winter fur, ribs showing no muscle or fat to a normal sized horse. He got 1 scoop with 3lbs senior twice a day. He licks his bowl clean. Photo is him first day and almost 2 months of cool calories. Everyone has commented on how amazed they are with his weight gain so quick. My other horse I tried two different times and she'll eat a few meals with it and after she will refuse to eat grain for a few days even without cool calories. So it just depends on the horse and their stomach.

Very happy
Very happy with this product! I’ve had my TB on a maintenance dose for about two years and he has gained and maintained weight through all seasons of the year, both on and off grass. His coat looks amazing, too!

Great for colicky horses
I got my first horse a few months ago and he is very colicky and has suffered from it in the past. I bought Optizyme and tried it for a month and it has done wonders for my horse! He has not colicked since. I absolutely love this product!

So much weight on in one month!
My horse before I started him on cool calories was on 1 1/2 scoop alfalfa pellets, 1 1/2 scoop beet pulp shreds, 1 1/2 school tribute kmz, and 6 flakes of hay daily which was putting weight on but not as much as I needed it too with the cold months coming up so fast. I started supplementing cool calories with he’s alfalfa pellets, beet pulp shreds, grain, and hay and he easily gained 100 lbs last month I was so happy.

Already seeing a difference 1 week in!
Have been battling the "winter squirts" for an older horse. After doing some research and looking at reviews online, decided to try this product. We're already seeing a huge difference for our old guy. Planning on keeping him on this most likely year round if we continue to see good results to help him with his digestion. Only thing we wished it was pellet as the dust does seem to take him longer to eat and sometimes he can get picky. But it's still working!
