Works well for our therapy horse with head shaking
We have a TB/draft cross gelding who is a mainstay in our therapeutic riding program and He developed photic head shaking so badly that it was dangerous for our volunteers to be around him. We had tried an antihistamine prescribed by our vet and also the sun blocking masks, and nothing helped. Then a donor sent us a bottle of Shake No More Gold and within 48 hours the head shaking had stopped. He has only been on it about a month, so we are hopeful that this is a long-term solution. He is now safe once again for our volunteers to handle and we are hopeful that he can re-enter our lesson program in the fall.

Hopeful
Bought this as a last resort since I had tried various things for head shaking with no luck. Hopeful for 2 weeks only for the shaking to return and become very bad again. But I think it was worth the try

Maybe Helps with Seasonal Allergies
We have a Louisiana bred OTTB living in north Georgia whom always has sever head shaking during the growing season - like he has a bug up his nose. His head shaking had gotten so bad, I was ready to throw in the towel on our little guy. But, I decided to try one more product. Within a week, his head shaking is down to a twitch on occasion instead of non-stop. I will continue use this product in hopes that it is a seasonal allergy aid!

worked for my mare!
My mare had SEVERE head shaking for over a year, to the point where she was striking out at her face while I was riding!! I tried everything under the advisement of my vet...TriHist, bute, steroid and I was ready to have a consult for a CAT scan, but I saw Shake No More Gold on SmartPak and as a last resort I gave it a try. I followed the instructions of giving it 7 days for absorption and rode on day 9. Wow, the shaking was 98% gone!! I can only imagine it will get better with more time. Thank you SmartPak!

Didn't help
I purchased this product to hopefully help with allergies my horse has. I didn't notice any difference. I had a lot of hope for the product but it didn't work at all for my horse. My horse will not eat it so I had to use a syringe to dose it twice a day.

Works alright
i have had my gelding on it for almost a month he has had a bad case of head shaking it has helped him some gonna keep him on it for another month and see if it gets any better the longer he is on it he is a picky eater but he sure loves it and looks forward to it in his grain every feeding

Too soon to tell I think...
I recently bought this for my mare who exhibits signs of head shaking syndrome when under saddle (shakes her head, tries to rub her nose, over sensitive to light changes, very nervous, etc) and occasionally will cough. She eats it with no trouble in her grain but no significant difference in her behavior under saddle yet.

Great Product!
I have a Thoroughbred mare who was suffering terribly from allergies, and it has worked wonders for her, she licks her bowl clean, and is so much more comfortable now. I will continue buying this supplement for her.

I purchased this product for a chronic head-shaker and we are 2 weeks into treatment and so far it has lessened her symptoms hoping to see more results by end of month. Some people don't like the smell but I have had no issues with her eating it.

Life saver product!
I got this product for two reasons. My horse coughs at the beginning of every riding session. One cough then a few sneezes and he's done. My vet said not to be worried about it, but it sounds icky so I figured I'd try something to get rid of it. This did not do anything to clear up the cough. BUT, my horse suffers from seasonal allergies/headshaking. I have had him on EVERYTHING, from allergy shots, cypro, ace, tri-hist, and endless supplements and herbal remedies. This is the first year it is Spring and the flowers are blooming and he hasn't had any symptoms. Previous years he would sneeze constantly, rub his nose, dunk his nose in his water bucket, and shake his head both in the paddock and riding. He hasn't had any symptoms since starting this product. It's so hard trying to treat things like that since it just seems like one remedy after another fails and you're throwing your money away. I'm so glad I decided to "try one more product" which happens to be the one that works!
