For joint support, SmartFlex Senior Herb-Free Pellets provide 8,000 mg of glucosamine, 700 mg of chondroitin sulfate, 75 mg hyaluronic acid, and 12,000 mg of MSM. This formula also contains 500 mg of the amino acid phenylalanine to help address stiffness and discomfort associated with aging. And because senior horses benefit from extra antioxidants, this supplement also contains vitamin C and super oxide dismutase. Your horse will love these tasty pellets! Best support!
I purchased the SmartFlex® Senior Herb-Free Pellets for my new Thoroughbred that retired from the track with some arthritis in his knee. I knew he would benefit from a joint supplement to help maintain his joint health. Even though he is young, his joints have already experienced quite a bit of wear and tear so I chose this 'senior' formula. The SmartFlex® Senior Herb-Free Pellets contain high levels of glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate, and hyaluronic acid which are all utilized to support and maintain different aspects of joints. It also contains 12,000 mg of MSM per serving which is great for supporting a normal response to inflammation. I also appreciate this herb-free formula since my horse is actively competing!

Amazing stuff!
I have had my 16 year thoroughbred mare on this for about six weeks. My vet had given me medicine for her stiffness. After about a month I noticed her movement was so much more fluid. I have not had to use what the vet gave me. I’m impressed!

I bought this for my Clyde cross mare when she was diagnosed with a stifle issue. It not only works , but overall her disposition is calmer and less stressed when in her stall due to bad weather . It took about two full months of building up into her system however, it was worth the wait . Due to her being 1,500 pounds , she is on a custom dose of three wells . I say give this product a try but do give it some time . My horse is more comfy and I am happy she no longer needs injections or a harsh prescription to keep her at a comfortable level of health .

I have been using this for a while now and I have tried all the senior supplements and my poor pony never changed, until I tried this one! He no longer limps from his arthritis and has more energy!

Really needs the full dose
I have an 11yo TB mare that I wanted on pretty comprehensive joint support as she's been jumping her whole life. I had her on this, then to save a couple bucks I dropped her down to a custom dose of only half the recommended dose. That was a mistake! Within 2 weeks I noticed she was cracking and popping when she got up from laying down. I'm adding this back to her regular SmartPaks as I never noticed this while she was on the full dose. My mare gobbles it up without an issue.

It must be Delicious!
my senior horse takes an oral med for arthritis. He hates it. I tried hiding it in his food. I tried hiding it in his food with syrup. I tried giving it with a peppermint. I tried giving it inbetween two peppermints glued together with syrup. I tried shoving it in an apple. Finally resorted to shoving it way back in his mouth with my hand, but he was really good at working it back out and spitting on the ground in front of me.
One day I got smart and hid it in a few grains of the SmartFlex Senior Herb-Free supplement and he gobbled it up!!! No more problems, he takes it like a champ.
