Excessive sustained doses of Garlic may cause Heinze body anemia. May be contraindicated in subjects with hypertension and anxiety. May be hypoglycemic. May be GI irritant and not to be used in patients with stomach ulcers. May cause digestive upset if raw. Potential interactions with CYP1A2 & CYP3A drugs. Use with caution in hyperthyroid disease.
