Very Good Support Wrap
I purchased this to use on a horse recovering from a tendon injury. The wrap provides good support. The only issue I had was the same as other reviewers and that was figuring out how to handle it and where it was best to start on the leg. The quality is very good and it has been holding up well to frequent use so far.

I also own the centaur version of these, so I was excited to compare them and see if these were worth the extra $$.
Differences:
-Eskadrons are much longer, which is good if your horse is 16 hands or up, otherwise probably going to be annoying on a short horse
-Eskadron outer bandage material is higher quality, although centaur is okay
-There's more quilting on the Eskadrons, so it's more cushioned and has more breathing room on the leg than the centaurs
-Eskadron velcro straps are way less bulky
Similarities:
-The climatex white fabric stuff looks and feels the same
I use the centaurs on my 15.1hh western horse and they work great for him, he gets easy rides so he doesn't get too sweaty or need a lot of support. However, I really like the Eskadrons on my 16.1hh english horse for all of the reasons I listed above. She likes to free lunge hard and works herself into a good sweat, so the extra support and breath-ability is nice. I hand wash both, and they hold up fine. If you have the extra cash to spend on these, I definitely recommend. Otherwise, the centaurs are great for the price. I gave these 4/5 on value because they are so pricey for a set of 2.

Love these wraps
Took a little practice to get the tension right, but these are fantastic. Provides a lot of protection and is a nice alternative to boots for a horse that needs a little more or who is sensitive to neoprene.

Surprised they worked!!
I bought these because my horse had developed mild swelling after hard workouts! I'm not a believer in most wraps, but these really do what they claim. Since my first set, I have purchased multiple sets!!

My new favorite wraps
I was looking for an alternative to polo wraps that offered more support. I had actually used these wraps years ago and was happy I thought of them again! I love the concept of having the first layer built in. I find the wraps very easy to use. They fit great
with no bulk. The horses legs feel cool after working in them and don't get sweaty as can happen with regular polos.

Great Wraps
Quite impressed with these wraps. It takes practice to put them on just right, but they offer a ton of support and padding. If your not careful you can make these too tight or too loose.

Love Them!
I love these wraps, many people had trouble with wrapping their horse's legs with these but i had zero trouble. They feel so protective, once on my horse they feel almost like boots. I have a clumsy 3-year old and these protect him perfectly. Also, they look very nice and clean. I have had these for almost a year now and they have held up perfectly except for a few small holes.

Great wraps!
It takes a few tries to get used to wrapping with them, but it is well worth it. I noticed that these wraps really maintain a balanced energy in the leg and my mare was not sweating under the wraps after her works. The material and structure are high quality.

Back to Regular Polos
My horse runs hot and I was looking for something that would be cooler. A friend suggested these. I have seen others at my barn use these wraps and they swear by them. I use other Eskadron products and love them but after using these wraps, I really just don't get it. They are hard to put on as you need to make sure that you entirely wrap the one material with the stretchy material or they will fall down. They are not durable as my horse who is really easy on equipment was able to tear a hole in these after the 2nd use. I didn't see any difference in how he went in these versus just plain polos. And with the high price? I know these work for others but the cons more than outweighed the pros for me.

Extremely disappointed !!!!
I bought these wraps for my horse after reading all the wonderful reviews. I wanted more support than a polo and these deemed perfect. However after receiving them I. Olives that even though they are sold in pairs - they are one sided - so only one side will wrap properly , the other side the eskadron logo is upside down. I thought maybe this was a bad pair....4 pairs later they are all the same!!!! I even reached out to eskadron. NOT ONLY do they not wrap properly, the pictures on smart pak and eskadron show the wrap being applied WRONG. Never wrap against the tendon!!! Also the white is supposed to be on the leg which is also shown incorrectly!!! Lucky for me smart pak is wonderful and has worked with me and I have ordered the equitt t wraps !!!

Better than regular polos.
I purchased these for my warmblood. The wraps fit large horses really well but it takes a few tries to wrap them to get them right, but once you get it they are super easy. There is a noticeable difference in performance when I use these wraps versus the regular polos. He is more animated and seems more comfortable when he has these wraps on. I have washed these several times and so far they are holding up just fine. Definitely worth the price.

Great Wrap
I bought these when my 9 year old warmblood was transitioning back in to full time work. I love polo wraps but I have never had the confidence that they are working to the best of their ability. When I put these on its honestly like a sigh of relief! I never worry about him not getting the protection he needs!

Great Support without Overheating the Tendons!
I'm not easily impressed but these are great. I have a mare who has two giant splints on one front leg and an old (healed) ligament injury in the other. So I am looking for support without adding extra stress by heating her tendons up. I did an experiment: Wrapped her from the these and the hind with other polos (similar price point) and rode in 86 degrees (light arena workout followed by a hack). Upon unwrapping, her front legs were significantly cooler than the hind legs (which were actually very sweaty) wrapped with another wrap.
They do stretch a little bit over time so more frequent washing is recommended.
One does have to wash them gently and I could see that they might be too short for a large horse. (Mine is a 16h Holsteiner). I did not have a lot of issues getting the wrapping right, I actually think it's easier once you have done it a few times because of the two different materials serving as a marker in the middle of the wrap.

Supportive Polos
I got these years ago probably like ten years honestly and still use my original pair. I bought them in gray so they don't show dirt or dust at all. I agree with other reviewers that it takes some practice to get the right fit on your horse but I start just below the knew go up once then down with the climatex and then go back up with the gray outer material. My mare now has a mile suspensory injury and I'm so glad I already had these on hand to use as extra support to put her back to work lightly. I hang them after use to ensure they dry out and then re roll them the next day. Highly recommend!

What I needed.
I have a foal with contracted tendons. The vet hospital had a team wrap his legs from shoulder to hoof with many layers of rolled cotton, gauze & duct tape but, when it came time to re-wrap his legs on my own .. I needed a shortcut that would work with a squirming foal. The goal was to keep his knees from bending & put his feet back down off his tip toes so, all I truly needed was to wrap his knees. I tried using these wraps alone but with one trial I realized I still needed one layer of rolled cotton & vet wrap ... with these wraps added on over top .. it cut the time down to less than half & added to the level of durability I needed . The wraps stayed secure & he was walking on his feet correctly again. I have to use these wraps with 3 days on & 2 days off so I do have time to wash them. They have done well in the wash so far but, please remember to wash them inside a pillow case with the Velcro closed. Use a gentle cycle to keep them lasting longer. The first layer of the wraps that goes on first appears to be a little fragile. Over all a good product.

Not what I hoped for
I was looking for extra support for my large-boned WB whom I ride in a hot climate. The bandages are difficult for me to wrap properly, although I consider myself very experienced, with 23+ years experience and professional FEI-level grooming under my belt. The white section is bulky and slides down. The blue part is too short on my horse to wrap all the way back up the leg and cover the white part. Even if my wrap job is smooth and technically correct, once my horse works in them for a few minutes they bunch and wrinkle. I'll keep trying different techniques, but I'm not thrilled after spending $140.

Excellent - Really good support
Love these training bandages. Give great support. Once you get the hang of putting them on they are great. I used another review to get going. I start these at the top just below knee and then wrap to just support ankle with white material then start up the leg. They are excellent. They wash well in a laundry bag.

Excellent Purchase
I have tried several boots and wraps trying to find ones that actually do keep the horses leg cooler during workouts. These are excellent, I have noticed a huge difference in the amount of heat generated. They are definitely worth the money. Two things to note; one being the white as noted by another reviewer, does go against the leg contrary to the picture. Secondly, when wrapped correctly you end up with one label upside down which is a little irritating to me but purely cosmetic. My only suggestion would be for Eskadron to fix this minor flaw. These function wonderfully however and I would highly recommend them.

Nice bandage
I love to wrap for rides but find that unless you have a huge warmblood most polo wraps are too bulky and long and just don't look right. I also love white wraps but they get dirty way too fast. So I ordered a pair of these for my horses hind legs. He is 16.2 mostly TB WB with average sized cannon bones. These wraps are a very nice fit. Easy to apply and stay in place. I ordered black for the dirt factor but they look dusty after each ride so I wash them frequently. Have washed them by hand so far but am going to try the machine this week. I would prefer the inner layer to be black too, the white terry is really hard to get clean!
If you are looking for convenience, buy boots that are easy to rinse off and clean. Otherwise these look great and perform well (my horse has small windpuffs so these do sweat them down during a ride). I would certainly buy another pair. The only negative....the price!

Competent Wrap
I bought these wraps on the advertisement that they helped control heat in the leg. I can't say I noticed much of a difference after removing them vs the thinline boots I had been using, or a conventional polo wrap. Probably equal with the boots, slightly cooler than polos. They are, however very easy to put on, and feel very supportive and look very sporty on, so I will continue to use them. Have only washed once so far, and no issues. Not sure the $70 price tag is so valuable. Seems like they should be under $50.

Best Polos Ever!
I bought these for my mare who has a weak right front that tweaks easily if not properly supported. After repeated issues with regular polos not helping I turned to smartpak to find a better polo. After reading reviews and looking at the equifit and eskadron I am very glad I went with these. They are easy to wrap, support her amazingly well & keep her legs nice and cool to boot! I haven't had them long enough to comment on durability but they work so well for her I would re-buy in an instant despite the high price!

Great Wraps!
I needed a good support wrap for my TB jumper who just moved up to the 1.30m. I have a set of the Equifit wraps, but they are so high-maintenance, I wanted something more simple. These wraps seem great. I usually start wrapping at the middle of the cannon, then go down & back up to below the knee, but after reading other reviews, I started at the top below the knee, wrapped to the bottom (where the white climatex ended) & then wrapped the elastic part back up over the climatex. They fit my 16.2 hh TB perfectly and were much easier to wrap than I expected. I think if you've wrapped regular polos or standing wraps, these are no more difficult.

A really good polo!
I got these polos in white size "horse". they looked soooooo good when they are clean!! so i just wash them alot :) they hold up well to washing but the fabric slightly balls up near the velcro... they keep the horses very cool compared to regular polos, but i find i need to wrap them i bit more snug so that they dont slide down.
