KL Select Italian Bell Boots is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 247.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome bell boots! My horse, who can be rough on his "clothing", has had these on 24/7 during daytime turnout for about a month now. They look brand new; no rips or tears, and are very sturdy. They were not that difficult to put on and fit perfectly. I bought these on sale, but would happily pay full price for them. I highly recommend these boots!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT QUALITY AND LONGEVITY I have been using these 24/7 on my 2 geldings for about 6 months per my Vet. These are much better quality and last longer than any of the others I have tried.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable! Extremely durable for every day wear during 24/7 turnout. Will definitely replace with the same boots when needed eventually.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable! Great to leave on day/night. Durable yet doesn’t rub. Will definitely buy again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They fit! My quarterhorse pulled off two shoes in one month. The trainer recommended bell boots, my first. These fit, they were easy to get on, and the black fades into oblivion. They do not stand out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Bell Boots These are the best bell boots! They may cost more but they last for ever and they stay on. I never buy anything else. I’m using them on the front and hind too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No pulled shoes I’ve been using these per recommendation from another boarder for a year now. My horse is a 16.3 OTTB and couldn’t keep front shoes on. I was constantly walking his pasture looking for front shoes. Since he’s worn these bell boots, no more searching for missing front shoes!! I’m happy and so is our farrier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best bell boots to keep shoes on My appendix gelding constantly pulls his shoes off from overreaching. I could not find any bell-boots that actually made a difference until now. These are the best bell boots I have ever purchased. They really work and are long enough to always cover the shoe. I was skeptical due to the price but I will always recommend these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality! I bought these a few weeks ago for my horse who tears bell boots to shreds! They have no marks on them yet and are very high qualifying rubber. They are well worth the extra few dollars for their extremely high quality... would recommend to anyone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best bell boots I’ve used these bell boots for years and no other pull on bell boots compare. They stay on even in the worst mud and with the freshest younger horses. Plus they hold up and have never torn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long lasting boot My horse has had to have bell boots since the dawn of time because he has a slight overreach and had a habit of taking off his front shoes. After my previous bell boots in this style broke, I found this brand which I have used for the past several years. They are thick and very durable. Easy to clean and rarely comes off. Great boot!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only pull ons I buy Only boots I get for my jumpers to live in 24/7. They pull on easy if you know how the tricks and last forever as long as your horse isn't chewing on them.
Date published: 2020-03-05
Rated 2 out of 5 by from My horse still pulls shoes I gave these bell boots a try for a year before writing this review. I like them because they do a good job of staying on, my gelding has only gotten them off twice in the year of wearing them 24/7. I also liked that they weren’t super heavy. I’m only giving 2 stars because my gelding pulls his front shoes wearing these at the same rate he would pull them without wearing these (about 6 pulls a year). My horse overreaches, but is barefoot behind. I also sometimes noticed them folding in on themselves, and therefore giving him no protection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The BEST Bell Boots for Turnout Look no further, because these are the best bell boots money can buy! While these bell boots are a bit of a hassle to put on and off, these can withstand the coldest of cold and still remain soft and pliable. The pair I have now are on their second winter and still going strong! Will definitely buy again!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lasted about a month Not very happy with these. My horse managed to get one off in under a month. The cheap centaur boots with velcro last longer.
Date published: 2019-11-13
Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are great! I didn’t really think these bell boots would be any better than anything else I have tried, but I was wrong! I have a grave yard of ripped bell boots in my barn. My gelding tends to step on his heels when he’s playing and he’s turned out 24 hrs a day. I needed something strong and durable. He’s gone through too many pairs of bell boots to count but so far these have been on for a couple of weeks and they are holding up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hard to get on I lack super human strength so I had a heck of a time getting these on my gelding. I soaked them in hot water to make them softer but all it did was make them slippery even after I dried them off. After much sweat, blood, and swearing, I had both boots on. And my gelding did manage to keep both front shoes on for a full shoeing cycle. However, the boots did not survive the full shoeing cycle. There is a huge chunk missing from the top of one boot, not sure how dummy gelding managed that. They're not as durable as I'd expected for the price. I'll be trying a different brand for the next go around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only bell boots I use! I leave these on my guy 24/7 and it took over a year and a half for them to start to rip. They are the only ones that fit my giant horse correctly and come in a XXL. Don't rub at all and are flexible enough to pull on an off.
Date published: 2019-08-29
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tough and comfortable My horse rips bell boots off all the time out in pasture, even with his teeth. These fit great (do run big compared to most. Bought L and he usually goes in L to XL) and I love the extra height. They dont rub and he hasn't tried pulling them off. So
Date published: 2019-08-27
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally a bell boot that's long enough My guy has a huge overreach combined with lots of energy and acrobatics out in the field, which has frequently seen him pull shoes as often as 1-2 times per week, several weeks in a row. I've purchased multiple sets of bell boots (velcro and rubber) trying to find a pair that is appropriate to his pastern diameter (for reference he's a fine-boned TB with a size 1 shoe) that is also long enough to truly cover the shoe heel (which extend past his heels as they are contracted due to previous people putting too small shoes on, probably to avoid him stepping on them...and around and around it goes). So! You can imagine my joy when I finally found bell boots that addressed my problem and supported our shoeing initiatives. They stay on just fine but are loose enough to avoid any rubbing or retention of dirt (he gets ridden 5+ days a week and lives outdoors 24/7). Don't get me wrong, he still pulls shoes here and there, but it is much improved. In short, worth every penny for those suffering this issue.
Date published: 2019-07-25
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disaster-Prone-Horse Tested! The only boots we use My TB's front feet are somewhat close together. That, combined with his self-destructive ways made him the horse that always pulled his shoes. He had to live in bell boots 24/7. I went through just about every brand and closure style and they were all destroyed within a week. Once I discovered these, I knew I'd never need another brand. They last for *years.* He lived in them 24/7 for years as well. They are stretchy enough that if he steps on them he might step out of one, but typically won't tear it, so it can be put back on. We moved to a new place and he no longer needed bell boots, despite living outside 24/7... due to shoeing changes and turnout footing...but, during the summer with the flies and the rain, we do put him back in bell boots because he tends to stomp his shoes right off. I have a stack of mismatched ones that I've acquired over the years that are still in good enough shape to be used as a temporary replacement if he loses one or is waiting on a new pair...they may cost more, but they last longer, so you're actually paying less for bell boots over the lifetime of the horse, and if you're tired of looking for shoes in the field... it's worth it. They are easy to put on and take off because the rubber is soft and flexible and they can withstand a lot of abuse! I'm actually on this page because I finally am going to update his current pair... that he's used for the last FOUR YEARS. They still work fine and are in decent shape, but he's stomped little chunks out of the edge, etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best bell boots!! I have tried lots of different bel boots but these are definitely the best! I have never lost a shoe using these and they last for a long time and never rub.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Sturdy Bell Boots! But... I ordered these in the black first and they did not disappoint. Sturdy well made bell boot that my horse has stayed in 24/7 with no rubs or issues. Because I liked the black so much, I came back and ordered the white pair. I was disappointed when I opened the package and saw that they weren't actually white, but more of an off white or sand color. I'm a bougie dressage mom and my pony is always matchy-matchy, lol, so it would have been nice to have WHITE bell boots to match his white polo wraps. Customer Service was great and they were surprised that they weren't bright white as well and actually had another pair pulled for me to make sure I hadn't received a defective pair. These were indeed the correct color. So while this aspect is disappointing, I decided to keep them and use them anyways because they are still a well made, quality bell boot. They just wont look as fancy against his bright white polos, but I guess he'll live! ;-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I was skeptical...now I'm a believer! I have purchased numerous, very expensive bell boots for my horse and he would eventually rip off the velcro everytime! It was so frustrating. He's very mouthy and I had lost hope of ever finding anything that I could use to protect his heels and shoes from his over reaching. When I made the decision to have him live out 24/7 I knew I needed to find a bell boot he could be comfortable in around the clock AND get worked in. Pull on bell boots were not my thing, but made total sense given the situation. After doing research I decided to give these a try and I'm so glad I did! Not only were they reasonably easy to get on...they have stayed on and my mouthy OTTB had not touched them! He gets ridden in them, and even when he gets over reactive has not managed to even put a mark on them. I got the gum colored ones because of our California heat and they do not heat up at all, he has no rub marks after a month wearing them. This was a fantastic purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous bell boots! Our trainer recommended these boots. We never used pull ons before. It was a two man job to get them on, but it wasn’t as hard as I thought. According to the the reviews, we got a size medium and they fit perfect. They are easy to clean and flip up easily to clean his hoof. These boots were a great purchase. thanks Smartpak
Date published: 2019-05-08
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do their job when I got annoyed with velcro bell boots I decided to try these. Recommended me try these since unlike other pull on bell boots these last. AND THEY DO my horse wears them 24/7 with no rubbing, chaffing, or issues, they don't get flipped up in turnout and look brand new after rinsing the mud off with the hose. My only issue was that I think they run large, my standard boned 16 hand horse took size large in all other bell boots but needs a medium in these, if in doubt size down.
Date published: 2018-12-29
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality! I bought these bell boots a month ago for my OTTB. He has your typical OTTB feet and our farrier recommended bell boots because it would be detrimental if he pulled a shoe with his crumbly feet. These bell boots have held up extremely well! He wears them 24/7 and they show no signs of wear and tear, stretching, or cracks!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from High quality boot Very nice boots. Please add small to your size range. Need to return medium as too large.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good productt I did like these bell boots, but due to severe arthritis I had great difficulties in pulling the boots on/off. Had to return them. Other than that, the boots were of excellent quality and easy to clean and maintain.
Date published: 2018-09-13
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best bell boots! These boots, while expensive, are the best! They are nice and thick and don’t have a seam on the inside to rub the back of your horses fetlock! Well worth the money.
