Best Summer Purchase I've Ever Made
I bought this last summer and don't know how I ever did without. My horse is very sensitive to bugs and constantly shakes her head without a fly mask. As soon as I put this on during our rides, she's calm and happy. No more shaking and she seems to even more quiet! The mask in light weight, fits over her bridle. This helps protect her nose from sunburn and shield her eyes from the bright sun. Don't sleep on this!

great fly mask!
Purchased a month ago. Have used out hacking as my mare is very annoyed by the gnats flying around her muzzle. It does a decent job in allowing her to relax on the hack rather than bobbing her head away from the gnats constantly.

Cashel Co. Crusader Fly Mask Quiet Ride
I've used this fly mask for several years, they actually last quite a long time, but I purchased a new one this season, and realized how nice it is to just leave on my horse all day, and not use it just for riding. My reason is because ut's such a fine mesh, it's lighter than the usual mask i use, and so more comfortable in really hot weather. Ir's also easyto hand wash.

Does the job
My horse is between a cob and a horse size and this fits, but I wish the extended nose mesh was a bit longer. That said, unlike the regular Quiet Ride mask, this one does provide some relief from mosquitoes on his nose when we ride.

Super Mask!
My dressage horses are both very allergic to Virginia's summer bugs and can't tolerate them flying about their heads, ears and noses at all. This mask gives them complete confidence they won't be attacked and really does provide a quiet ride.

Best thing ever!
This was recommended to me by the barn manager as they use them on all their trail rides so I decided to give it a try. What a life saver! It keeps the bugs away from my horse's eyes and off his nose and makes his outside experience much more enjoyable.

Great Fly Mask!
I bought this because we trail ride in the spring and summer and my Arab tosses his head a lot with the flies. It fits perfectly and no more head tossing! I convinced my best friend and riding partner to get one too! That’s her in picture 3.

Great fly mask.
My friend recommend this for my girl on trail rides because even with fly spray the bugs have been really bad. Fast shipping and got here a few days before it was due to arrive. I love it. It's very light weight, easy to take on and off and does a great job of keeping the bugs off her face and out of her eyes and ears while we are out on trail rides.

My horse loves it!
My horse is extremely sensitive to both real and imaginary bugs. Riding him in the spring
and summer wasn’t enjoyable as he was clearly so unhappy. His regular fly mask was too thick and awkward for riding Once I started using the Crusader Quiet Ride mask, he was calm and relaxed. It has made a huge difference in his behavior. No more heading shaking
and being bothered by the pesky bugs!

This is my favorite fly mask.
I love this mask, it is light, cool, you can see through it easily, it washes great. I had one of the stiffer ones once and one eye, when my horse rubbed his face, bent in towards his eye, and was stuck there, he no way to pop it back out. His eye was red, runny, he had rubbed dirt in it, then kept rubbing it more into his eye. I felt terrible. Used nothing but this mask from then on.

My standardbred has a huge head, so I bought warm blood size. It was plenty big and doesn’t poke his eyes. I did have to take up the ears, though. They would have fit a mule, I think.

Fabulous Fly Mask
My friend recommended this type of fly mask vs the ones I had used. this one is lighter and the fabric better than the heavy plastic Keeps the pesky tiny flies off his face but does not cause any rubbing or skin issues.

Unrestricted Vision
This item is irreplaceable for summer & early fall fly protection. I started over small jumps to make sure it worked, but have schooled (2'6" ish) cross country, too, and Shack rides like he's wearing nothing. It's very likely he is able to gauge jump distance and dimensions even BETTER than without it as Cashel says: "coated nylon micro mesh blocks 70% of the sun’s damaging UV rays," which probably helps in bright sunlight as sunglasses do for us.

Not Just For Riding!
I use this for every day turnout. I like it because it is softer than their regular turnout masks and doesn't rub my horses face (he sometimes gets rub marks on his cheekbones) and the extended nose is plenty long enough. I think it's plenty durable for daily use.

Remedy for head shaking syndrome
My horse has had head shaking syndrome for 12 years and for the past 7 years we have used a net attached to his nose band to keep him from feeling miserable when I ride, particularly in the spring and summer sun. He has worn this new mask over his bridle for 4 rides and has been symptom-free. I am very pleased with the fit and the ease of putting it on him. He likes it much better than the net flopping on his nose and the other eye and ear cover we used.

Fits great!
The mayflies we’re driving my horse nuts. They would get up his nose, causing him to shake his head so violently that it was hard to ride. This mask solved that problem!

Works great!
Used to use the Cashel masks with ears but saw there were still SSOOOOO many flies on our horses’ muzzle out in the pastures.
Ordered these and problem solved.
They wear them about 12 hours a day out in the fields and in their stalls.
They roll and so far so good. Not torn and still on by end of day

Fit Perfection
My mare just loves this mask. She is a smallish 15 hand Arabian Warmblood cross and the cob size fits her perfect. She is not hard on things so the lghtness of the mask is perfect for her. The long style covers most of her white snip.

Love this for trail riding in the woods!!
My horse is a bit of a delicate prince! He can't tolerate a single bug on him anywhere!! His head tossing, particularly on trail rides, is exasperating! This mask solved the problem completely. In fact so completely, I'm considering schooling in it on buggy days!

Can't ride without this!
This mask is a lifesaver! The bugs have been awful and my horse is very sensitive to them. I previously had the same mask only without the longer part over the nose. I just switched to this one because I noticed a lot of small gnat like bugs around his nose. Now I see them around the mask but they can't bother him and it makes for a much nicer ride, without constant head tossing.

Love this fly mask
This is the second year that I have purchased these fly masks for my girls. I love that I can see their faces. And they like them as well. I used them for turnout. They have torn by the end of the long summer season in California but that's mainly because of other individuals taking the fly mask off and not being careful about yanking on the Velcro strap. The masks are lightweight which is a benefit and challenge if other humans aren't careful in handling. But they work for me and more importantly for my girls.

Great mask!
I bought 2 for my Boys to wear in the pasture. They're lasting really well and it's easy for them to see through the fine mesh. I also had them personalized. They are the envy of the other boarders and horses.

Essential for buggy summer environment
I like all the Cashel fly masks a lot. I launder the masks weekly and they hold up remarkably well to both horse abuse and my freak obsession with cleanliness. The regular horse size fits a normal to large warmblood horse down to a fairly petite TB. This quiet ride one is great. It's very light weight and helps tremendously with the annoying headshaking from flys and gnats - that's just no fun for anyone.

Great for a quiet ride.
I really like the Crusader Fly Mask-quiet ride. It does for my horse and me exactly what it says. Quiet ride. My horse is definitely more quiet, which makes for a great ride, She would look around a lot and get excited a lot. I have noticed with the Quiet Ride mask she is less concerned about what goes on around her. I recommend the Quiet Ride mask for anyone wanting a quiet ride.
