Mega-Cell™ (Pellet) is a well-balanced multi-vitamin and mineral supplement formulated to coincide with current NRC (National Research Council) recommended daily requirements, to accommodate feeding programs consisting of grass-type hays (timothy, coastal, Bermuda, native grass)/grain-based diets. Love this supplement!!
This is reasonably priced and effective! Both ponies and our horse happily eat it and they all have dapples and soft, shiny coats! Their hooves look great too.

My picky eaters love it!

Our horses do great on this!
I didn't realize that our horses were lacking in vitamins and minerals until I restarted them on this. My mare was showing symptoms of IR/cresty neck tendencies. It has certainly improved now that she has those missing nutrients back in her diet. :) And I also really like that there is no iron in this supplement.

Decent price and seems to do the job
I'm on my second bucket of this vitamin supplement. My horses all eat it and it's a decent value for the money. I mainly feed a high quality forage diet and wanted something to help supplement necessary vitamin and mineral daily requirements.

Great for my horse with ulcers
My horse has ulcers, any salt forced on him upsets his stomach. Ulcer med's deplete Vitamin B's. Mega Cell has vitamin B like no other brand that I have researched without salt. His coat shines and he eats as if he's never had a stomach problem. I am confident that he is getting nutrients he needs in this supplement without forcing salt on him.

Great product. Great value
Complements our pasture and hay perfectly. Provides excellent broad based supplementation for our horses at a very economical price. Balancing these minerals brought hoof condition back better than the high priced hoof supplements. I would recommend a person start with analyzing pasture and hay first and balancing that with MegaCell for those on grass dominant diet before adding more to the equation. Super results.

So far so good.
I purchased this as a supplement to my mustang's grass hay only diet. She has been in corrals for 4 years up until I adopted her 7 weeks ago. That being said, she has never had grain before (and really can't be due to her being an extremely easy keeper) and learning to eat this wasnt easy. I ended up making them into horse treats and she learned to like the taste and now eats them on their own. I can't tell you how this will effect her but I'm happy to see lots of vitamins not always in other supplements such as copper and zinc. We specifically were looking for a supplement containing a good amount of these due to her being black and fading quite considerably. Similar supplements of copper/zinc marketed for dark horses with the EXACT same amounts of the minerals are selling for over 40 bucks a MONTH. Copper deficiency is thought to be a huge reason for fading so I am looking forward to seeing how this works through winter and her spring coat next year. You could tell she had a lot of mineral imbalances and I can say that her new winter coat is coming in almost blindingly shiny and dark.
Value wise, this supplement is unbeatable. What a wonderful, tasty product for such a great price. I will be using this for a long time to come. Thank you MVP for giving us such a great product at an actually affordable and sustainable price.

Love this stuff
My horse has been on Mega-Cell for two months now. She had been tying up and that was the reason I started the supplement. She has had no problems with tie up, her coat looks amazing, her temperament has improved and her feet look great! Best of all, it is one of the very FEW supplements she will actually eat.

My horse will NOT eat this
I haven't had issues before with my horse eating supplements, but now I can't get her to eat these even covered in molasses. I also tried adding fenugreek seeds. I've tried everything and its like trying to force a toddler to eat broccoli.
Full disclosure: I used to have her on smartvite thrive, GUT, and a flax supplement. I changed her smartpak to this, cause she's on just pasture now. And I swapped the flax for smart bugoff. At first I thought it was the big off she hated, But I stopped giving her the bug off and she still won't eat this. Both this product and bug off smell medicinal, and this product smells STONGLY medicinal. I can't blame her for not wanting it.

All the ingredients my horses need!
I use FeedXL to balance my two horses diets and this has filled all the holes incredibly well! I was worried with how affordable it is that my horses wouldn't like it (my mare HATES the smartvite's) but both of my horses ate it up with out even giving it a sniff. I wish it had sodium in it like the smartvites do, but it's cheaper to give them a little loose salt on their feed in the morning anyway. Love this stuff and I think that even if you don't want to pay for FeedXL, there is good chance this supplement will fill the gaps in your horses diet without breaking the bank.

Good supplement
I started using this supplement on my slightly anemic 3 year old OTTB gelding and wow, what a difference! He has more energy, and his winter coat is much more shiny and less dull. I highly recommend this supplement.

Has many good vitamins in it!
Have already noticed a difference in my hard keeper TB's weight and hair coat. Have also seen an improvement in 2 other mares personalities since only being on this for a little over a month.

Really noticed a difference
My Arab gelding is on soaked alfalfa/timothy pellets (instead of grain) and 5-6 flakes of grass hay per day. Mega-Cell has been wonderful in giving him all the vitamins he needs, and I've seen an improvement in his energy, willingness to work, his attitude (just being happier in general), and his mane/tail/coat. Definitely recommend!

Good to Balance a Hay based diet
We switched our pony off of commercial grain products for a variety of reasons. He eats hay, alfalfa pellets, and whole oats. We added this multivitamin after looking at several choices with the Feedxl program. This was one that balanced what he needed for his work load and his diet. He is doing great on this diet/vitamin regimen.

Great Product!
I fed a timothy hay and while feeding Mega-Cell I know my horse gets all the nutrients she needs. Her coat is looking good for the middle of winter as well as her feet. I think it is a great low cost product for those horses just needing a bit extra.

Great overall supplement at a great value
I went through all the different vitamins offered at SmartPak and decided to go with this because is contained all the vitamins I was looking for in decent levels and the price canot be beat. My picky eater had no problems with this supplement, and my mind was at ease knowing my horse was getting her nutrients on less than perfect hay.
