Great product! Not so good customization...
As far as the overall quality of the product, it is perfect. I have ordered one before to go on the other side of the grooming tote so each side would have one, but since changing to another barn I decided to order a new one with my monogram on it so I wouldn't have to worry about barn names. I must make a point to say though that the additional one I had ordered came in and the barn name was so small I was in shock that it would even be sold. So I called up SmartPak and of course their incredible customer service came through once again and they sent me a new one free of charge and the new one was just beautiful and complimented the tote wonderfully! However...I just got the newest one in and I must say I'm a little disappointed in the quality of the monogram and that SmartPak would even ship it. I thought the actual engraving was a bit small in comparison to the plate and it is also not centered. I may be a bit picky but in my opinion an error like this should not happen. Mistakes happen, I get it..but correct the error before sending it out since I'm sure whoever made it would agree that it isn't their best work. I'm going to hang onto it as I really do not feel like dealing with sending it back and being a complete pain in the butt, but I just wanted to pass along my concern and allow SmartPak to correct this issue so it doesn't happen to anyone else in the future.

Just the right touch for my horse's stall
This plate is beautiful. I absolutely love the oval wood and the chain, really makes this nameplate unique. I wanted to get something special for my new horse and this was perfect. I was a little disappointed in the size though. The picture makes it look much larger. I wish it was just a little bigger as it is hard to read and see from a distance. I also wasn't impressed with the front choice I chose.

Too Small
I bought this over a year ago and was disappointed at the size, very small. Also the name plate fell off of the wood backing. I have had to drill holes and screw the name plate to the wood back. I use this at shows and in my tack room.

Exactly as advertised!
I bought this for my daughter's new horse stall. It looks fantastic! Wood is of a good quality and the brass is shiny. I ended up taking the chain off and screwing it into the stall door. I initially thought it would look weird without the chain but it worked out nicely.

Nice Plate but Chain is too Short
I was happy to find that Smartpak, my go-to for all things equine, made a stall plate with a chain. However, upon receiving the plate, I was a little disappointed. The plate is quite small, smaller than average, and I feel as though there should also be a rectangular option available. The quality is fine, but the attached chain is quite short, and I think for aesthetic and practical purposes, making it about two inches longer would be beneficial. Still, a lovely item, ideal for my needs!

Not what I expected
Although the measurements are posted, It was a lot smaller than I thought it would be. The wood and the chain are of good quality, but the plate isn't as nice and the Old English font for my horse's name is very, very narrow and barely readable.

Nice but.....
The nameplate, wooden base and chain are all nice. My only complaint is that the letter "O" is not engraved in the same width as the other letters. It looks odd. We have these as barn plates and all the "o's" look the same so I know that it is an engaving issue. If you are picky and your horse has an "o" in their name, you may want to reconsider.

I bought this for my best friend's graduation present. Now, it is indeed my fault not reading the size in the description but WOW! It's tiny. So small my friend said "I'll hang this on my dorm-door door"... not her stall.
It was very pretty though.

Tack Room Occupied.
I had the plate engraved "tack room occupied" b/c our tack room includes a toliet, trying to get more privacy for our boarders. I was a bit stunned when the silver plate arrived; No wooden plaque or chain. I didn't read the product description thoroughly.

Really Nice Plate
The engravers at SmartPak are awesome! I ordered this plate as a monogram nameplate for my tack trunk and I must say it looks lovely! It was easy to apply with the pre-applied sticky back and I didn't have to drill a hole in my trunk. I do agree... it is a little pricey, but if it holds up it will have been worth it.

This an awesome, substantial nameplate. I know it's a bit pricey, but it's a perfect gift for anyone at your barn. It's sticky back makes it applicable to anything- anything! Trunks, tack closets, mounting blocks, feed carts, bridle and saddle racks, stall doors, you name it. A classy gift!
