Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these boots! These are the only pair of tall boots that have ever fit me. I love them! They broke in immediately without any pain, and they have held up incredibly well. For the price, they are an excellent quality boot and I have no complaints.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent quality, bad fit I've had these boots for almost two years I think, and they don't fit me at all anymore. I got them too tall and too tight so that they would drop and fit me, and they are now huge! This is partially my fault because I ordered a slightly too large shoe size thinking I would grow into them (and I haven't) but the calves have gotten quite a bit too loose along with the ankles. The leather and stitching has held up well, but on the inside of the calf the leather has lost its color and is turning green. They still look great after some cleaning and polishing though! I'm just disappointed with the fit and I wish the leather was softer instead of being stiff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Favorite Inexpensive Tall Boots These tall boots are fantastic. They are beautifully designed and fit me perfectly. I am very short, 5'2 with regular calves and the regular, short height fits perfect. Breaking them in was a bit painful but it was worth it, they feel great now! I did replace the stretchy elastic laces with regular boot laces and it really brings the ankle in for a tailored fit. LOVE LOVE LOVE

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Giving up on Mountain Horse I got these boots about two years ago--and gave up on wearing them within three months-- they were awful. The leather was of decent quality, but they broke in REALLY oddly. The zipper dug into my ankle and the top of the foot was very strange. I tried oiling them and couldn't make them tolerable. I gave them to a friend to borrow and she thought the same thing. I used to love MH but this is the third model of boot that I've been disappointed in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect!!! My daughter is short and needed more room in the calf. The height and calf on these boots fit perfectly. Couldnt believe I finally found a brand that carried her size. They look great on too! Would definitely recommend and would buy again. Thanks

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So worth it!!! I bought these boots almost 3 years ago and I have abused them almost daily ever since. They fit perfectly right out of the box and only took about two days to break in. They really make a difference in my leg when I ride, soo much better than half chaps, and now I never school without them!!After 3 years they are just now getting to the point where they don't quite clean up for schooling shows anymore, but are still great for everyday riding. I will definately be getting another pair, you just can't beat them for the price!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Schooling Boots! I bought these for low level shows and schooling. At first it took a very long time to break these in and I definitely went through some blisters on the ankles however by conditioning the inside and outside and wearing them with thick socks they're great now! I also replaced the elastic laces with traditional laces which creates a much more custom fit in the ankle! It made the largest difference in fit because they were too big in the ankle before. I like the elastic back because I can wear these with breeches, jeans, etc. They're solid in terms of quality. I think they're best for schooling and low level showing! I love them because they keep my leg in place versus wearing paddock boots + half chaps. They also look great with the spanish topline.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I seriously tried to kill these! it didnt work! i was 13 when i got these. my mom was crazy about keeping them nice, so the first time i wore them was going into a "AA" hunter show. after that i wore them everyday, 12 hours a day, and rode about 8-12 horses a day, and went into a paddock after it rained(1.5 feet of mudd!!!!) i wore them all summer and still wore them to medal finals that year. the only things i wasnt completely happy with was that the color got a little dull at the end and that my first time wearing them the zipper rubbed on my heel. and they wernt as gathered around the ankle as i would have liked ( but im being very hard on critique) but i have 3 riding friends that have these and they love them.
