Easy to Administer
My horse, Lucky, is on SmartPerform™ Ultra Pellets in SmartPaks. This product does contain ButiPEARL® Z EQ and CLOSTAT to assist with hind gut health but every now and then, Lucky needs a little extra prebiotics, probiotics, and digestive enzymes to help his hind gut. My horse often has digestive issues. I wouldn't call them severe but chronic as it's been his entire life. I use the Smart Digest Ultra paste in conjunction with the daily SmartPerform Ultra Pellets. It’s easy to administer and Lucky loves the butterscotch flavor. I like to keep this on hand for times when I feel like a horse needs a little extra support. It seems to give an extra boost to get a horse through a rough time. I always have The SmartDigest Ultra Paste available for any changes in feed, weather, and especially for horse shows and travel.

Awesome as-needed hindgut support
My mare occasionally gets loose stool, especially in the fall when the weather is inconsistent or when we get new hay deliveries. I give this to her during these times to help keep her hindgut happy and I've been so pleased with the results! With this proactive approach, her stool has stayed firm even during stressful events like when we are traveling. My horse loves the butterscotch flavor (it smells SO good), and happily takes the tube when I go to administer it. I also find the tube very easy to use and it doesn't get stuck like other paste products I've tried in the past. I always make sure I have at least one tube of this product on hand at all times, especially when traveling, to be sure I am doing what I can to maintain a healthy hindgut and help my horse feel her best.

Easy to administer. Always keep them on hand.
We keep these on hand in our supply of meds. At the first sign of any digestive discomfort, we administer a full tube to the horse in need. We are very fortunate to be able to say that the horses return back to a comfortable state of being within an hour of using this product. We will also administer a full tube prior to any stressful event (like trailering a long haul).

It seemed to help a bit with my horses digestion
I have tried other gut supplements but many don't work or gave my horse diarrhea. This paste helped a little with my horse's digestion and fecal development. His feces got better after half a dose.

Mare said it tastes great!
I ordered a couple tubes of this stuff to supplement the smart digest pellets for my new mare. I popped a tube of it in her mouth right off the trailer and she LOVED it, she wanted the empty tube over the cookies I had!
Too soon to tell if it’s as effective as the smart digest pellets but I like having a little extra support during the first 48hrs in a new environment.

Horse hates the taste
My horse had other SmartPak pastes like ultra calm before, but he hates the taste this one so much, it took forever to get him to swallow it. Please make more flavor options.

My Nervous horses love it!
I have 2 horses that get "loose stool" every time we travel. I give them both a tube of this the night before we will be traveling and they stay solid!

Puts them back on feed and feeling great!
I tired this product when we were at the AQHYA Ford World Show when my cow horse was off his feed. We started the smart pak program and have used this when ever he goes off his feed with weather changes.

Convenient Paste
I bought the case of 5 tubes for when I recently moved my three horses to a new boarding barn. I was nervous about the move being rough on their bellies, so I gave them each a tube of SmartDigest Ultra Paste the day of the move, and then the day after move. It did cause almost diarrhea-like manure from my 28 year old gelding, but I was not concerned because of his age, and the symptoms were gone the next day. None of my horses ended up having any type of stomach issues during or after the move, and this paste gave me the peace of mind I needed during such a stressful time! My horses were not overly impressed with the flavor of the paste, but I find that they aren't really impressed by any type of paste being squirted into their mouths!
