Did not work. do not bother
I REALLY wished this product worked, but afraid it did not.... horse did not stop chewing the wood after 20 days. I called Smartpak and Farnam for my money back.

Palatable but didn't stop the chewing
Horse eat it without any problems. I tried it for 2 months to give it a solid chance. Horse is still eating the fence. Bummer...

It works!!
I was skeptical of this product but thought I would give it a try, it works! Mini mule hasn’t been snacking on his stall any more. He’s not crazy about the taste but will eat it with a handful of regular grain.

Horse loves Quitt but still chews wood!
I started my 3 yr OTTB filly on this after she arrived from an adoption barn and almost started nibbling wood at our boarding stable. The adoption folks told me she hadn't there, but then again, there weren't many exposed wooden surfaces there. The behavior has decreased somewhat, but it may be due to almost 24/7 turnout just as much as to Quitt. She loves the supplement, but if I put her in a stall for even a few minutes, she still starts nibbling on any wooden board available.

vitamins didn't work.
It seemed like a great set of vitamins, but my horse is still chewing more than ever. I think he has a pure addiction.

Wonderful product !!!
I can't say enough about this product !!! It literally saved my trees & fence posts !!! My girls were eating anything made of wood , especially the bark off my trees , the wooden fence posts ,& the side of our shed. I read about Quitt online & decided to give it a try. I AM IMPRESSED !! My two have not touched a tree or anything wooden since feeding it !! Love this stuff , wish I would have found it sooner.

Really works

Mare stopped eating fence 24/7!
I bought Quitt a month ago because my new mare was absolutely eating the fence. Even though she was turned out 24/7 in a 5 acre field with free choice hay, salt block, and 3 other horses she'd choose to stand at the fence and chew, to the point that I never saw her graze. I tried 4 different cribbing collars and several hot sauce mixtures on the fence and nothing helped for longer than a few hours. Enter Quitt! I don't know if Quitt alone solved the problem, as she was moved to a new field and got ulcer treatment at the same time I started Quitt, but she has reduced chewing on the fence about 90% and, honestly, I'm too scared she'll start again to stop Quitt. Now when she starts I can push her away from the fence and she'll choose to eat hay. That didn't happen before!
