Love these boots!
I haven't purchased anything Back On Track brand that I didn't absolutely love! Great protection, fit and washes up very well! I use them every single time I work my horse!

Runs Big
I ordered larges from Back on Track around the same time I ordered mediums from Smartpak (the normal boot sizes I buy for my horse) and I received the larges first which fit but when I got my mediums they were too big. I returned mediums for smalls and the smalls fit better and more like a medium. Because of this I would say these boots run big, but maybe true to size for hinds? I would also say these are pretty breathable too, as much as my other breathable boots.

I love them! Great Flatwork boots!
I absolutely love the BOT line. Their other products have given me significant results so I finally bought one pair of these a bit ago when they went on sale and I liked them. I like that they provide good padding along the inside of the leg, and support. I also really like that they're lightweight and flexible. I use them for flatwork, so they work really well for that. Personally, I do not suggest using them as jump boots as I don't think they provide enough support & shock absorption for that, but I love the fact that the welltex fabric is helping promote circulation in the legs while we work while also keeping the legs cool and tight. I just recently bought another pair to complete a full set of boots. They fit true to size so that's always a plus!

BOT has great products
I bought a front pair, then bought a larger pair for the hind legs. These are the best. They do, however, run a bit small. I have Smalls on the front and Mediums on Hind.

Do not hold up well
I bought these a year ago, and they are falling apart. My horse interferes with her hind, and barely in the front. Within 3-4 months of continuous use (and properly caring for them), the stitching started to fall apart towards the bottom. They held up OK over the next 8 months, however with the extra water and dirt and having to rinse regularly with puddles in our arena, they are practically useless.. after only a year. The hind ones are ripped and the straps are starting not to stick to the velcro anymore... NOT worth the price.

I love these boots but have had 2 issues
I have used these as competition boots for eventing, with duct tape over the velcro to keep them closed, as well as turnout boots. They don't slip on XC but the hind ones will slip a little over the course of the day. The hind ones have rubbed the stitching loose several times because the seam between the pad and the boot is right where the horse's hoof rubs the fetlocks (if they do, which mine does!). Luckily there's a tack repair place at the shows I go to and she fixes them for $5 each time. The other issue is that when my horse wears them for a long time, they will rub him raw where they overlap, same spot on both front legs, again a seam issue. I have stopped using them until he grows more hair for winter and then I will use them again. I really appreciate the Back on Track products for their ability to help keep legs from stocking up without generating too much heat (and I use their polos right now instead of these splints for workouts on front legs). These boots clean up really easily, I generally toss them in the washer and hang to dry.

My favorite boots
I have had these boots for over a year and have used them for riding and as turnout boots, and they still look brand new after I hose them off. They have not torn or scratched at all. I also like that they are easy to stretch and put on snug unlike some other boots I've used. Light enough to be used in the summer. I don't worry about heat buildup with these as the heat is therapeutic for legs and tendons. I just wish they had them in white for dressage! :)

Straps too long
Have had these boots for several months. The velcro tabs are so long that they overlap the inside then accumulate sand. Now 3 months later, they no longer are grippy and the lowest tab doesn't stay attached for the entire ride. Now I am searching for new boots when typically they last 4x as long and the rest of the boot is still in great shape.
