Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good start to a first aid bag. This is a good starting point for a first aid kit. Unfortunately it’s somewhat expensive for what it is, however pricing items out individually is even more expensive. I wish the bag was a little larger to accommodate adding my own full size products; it is smaller than it appears. as other reviews mention, hydrogen peroxide isn’t good for wounds so I removed that from the bag. I wish this had come with a livestock thermometer and a small laminated first aid book.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Handy bag Handy bag, but when my horse cut up his legs badly the items were not meant for anything larger than a silver dollar sized injury. Just a few pieces of gauze and 1 vet wrap. Most pieces were tiny sample sized pieces, like the towelettes etc. It's a good start, and it can definitely hold more items than it came with, so I'm making a trip to the store to fill it with horse-sized items for a real emergency.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Products Did Not Work This is definitely something you can put together yourself, and is a ripoff for a lot of money. First of all, the flashlight did not work despite it coming with batteries in it. Also, the gauze bandages that came with it do not come in rolls, so they are hard to wrap around your horse's leg. The alcohol wipes it comes with are not generous at all and are very small. The hydrogen peroxide is a very easy product to find in stores, and the one in this bag is only filled halfway. I bought this to have a tourniquet on hand too, and it is not in there. Having the first aid kit bag is nice because it's easily identifiable, but that can be purchased at a drug store for a much lower price. Really, I am very dissatisfied with this purchase and think it's much more worth your time to get the products you want in more generous amounts. This is barely enough for a one-time use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Back to Basics I bought this first aid kit because I really wanted a bag to organize first aid supplies that would be easily identifiable as containing first aid supplies. I was tired of rummaging through my tack trunk to find the vetrap when I needed it. The bag is perfect for the purpose of keeping first aid supplies organized. There are lots of pockets on the outside, and the inside is large enough to hold all of the things that came with the kit as well as things (including a big jar of Fura-Zone) that I added. The supplies that come with the kit are pretty standard with some fun surprises like a little flashlight. That will come in handy I'm sure. This is a great value for the price. Every horse owner should have one of these kits.

Equimedic has provided us with the best first aids kits that all centers should have. Unexpected accidents can happen with horses. I have confidence knowing that I have all the right tools at my fingertips. When I am traveling with horses, training horses at home, or on a trail, I feel good knowing that I have these first aids kits on hand. Equimedic is the first company that has offered all the first aid kit tools that one should have with horses. I am so proud to be a part of their team and to recommend this to all horse owners!
