The Very Best Boots
These Galway boots are often imitated, never duplicated, and it's easy to see why they are such an iconic boot. I absolutely love mine, and have worn them around town, around the barn, occasionally in the saddle, and even during a trip to Ireland!
This version of the boot has additional space in the calf, providing a perfect fit for those with larger calves like me. I went up slightly in the foot size to allow room for thicker socks; I usually wear a size 7.5 or 8 and went with the size 39 which fits perfectly.
These boots are not meant to be ridden in regularly but they are my boot of choice for beach rides, because I know I won't have to worry about my feet ever getting wet! They are also my first choice for any wet New England weather - rain, snow, mud, they handle it all with ease.
These boots clean up great, but I do recommend using the Dubarry cleaners and conditioners to help protect the leather. You'll want to make sure you're using the special cleanser made for the suede to maintain the waterproofing. I also keep my boots in boot trees when not in use which helps them to keep their shape.
These boots are an investment, but they are 100% worth it. With proper care they will last through many years of adventures. Can't wait to see where my Dubarrys go next!

Mediocre Boot
I bought these boots to wear around the barn to do chores in (i.e. mucking, bathing, etc). I clean, condition them, and apply water proof spray 2 times a week in addition to storing them in boot trees. I am disappointed in the quality of the boot. The foot bed is not that great and provides no arch support so I had to add a foot sole for better support. The biggest disappointment, is that the leather around the foot bed has cracked (even though I condition regularly) and already starting to have holes in my boots. For the $500 and the amount of time I have put into taking care of them, I was expecting them to last longer and hold up well. Not sure if I would buy these boots again for this price.

Nice boot, doesn't hold up
I've had my boots for a little over 2 years now and they look so shabby. These are high maintenance boots if you want them to look not scuffed up and cracked. I was told that by the people at the rolex text at Rolex that I need to clean, condition, and put their boot creme on them every week to prevent scuffs and cracking. Not exactly what I was expecting with a boot that cost this much and I'd think they'd last longer than a couple of years when I've taken better care of them than far cheaper boots that look far better than my dubarry's.

Love, Love, Love these durable boots!
This is my second pair of the same boot. I bought my first pair of these boots 5 years ago and wore them 4 times a week at the barn - thru muck and mud - but I still get complements on them. They look a little worn so I bought a second pair to wear at horse shows, etc. They are fantastically comfortable and truly waterproof. One of the best products I have ever bought. Well worth the money. And if you get the wrong size you can trust SmartPak to do a quick and easy exchange.

Super fit
I purchased these for a gift for my daughter because she needed a heavy duty waterproof boot for doing turnout, stall cleaning, and something that was also comfortable to teach lessons all day in. Mission accomplished :) she loves them and the extra fit size makes them super easy to get on/off over breeches or jeans ... Thank you!

Love love love them
Wanted dubarrys forever and finally decided I deserved a pair. The extra fit is perfect over breeches or tights or leggings and I wear them everywhere !!! My only thought is that I would prefer a more cushioned footbed Seems a bit flat and hard with not much support. But I am still mad in love with my dubs.
