Ordering for Multiple Animals
To order SmartPaks for multiple animals, go ahead and select the supplements you want from
. When you add it to your order you will have the option to select from an animal you have already
entered or to add a new one. During the checkout process you will be able to assign different shipping addresses if you
keep your animals in different locations and adjust the shipping dates if you would like all of the orders to ship together
on the same date.
Syncing a New SmartPak with Existing SmartPaks to Save on Shipping
When you have selected all of the items that you want for your new order hit "checkout", assign a shipping address and hit
"continue". On the Submit Order page find the order for the new SmartPak and click on "adjust dates" under the animal's
name. Select the "synch my shipment with other orders" radio button and select the shipment date that you want to sync with.
Click the “Update" button and then proceed to Checkout.
How to Order If You Feed Some Supplements Twice a Day and Some Only in the Morning
When ordering the supplement, specify "Custom dose" and enter an amount to be fed and specify whether you would like this
item fed in the AM, PM or both. You may specify all of your supplements to be fed in only the AM or only the PM without
incurring any extra charges. If you receive AM and PM supplements you will receive a separate set of 28 SmartPaks for EACH
feeding with the SmartPaks labeled AM and PM. Some supplement combinations do not fit in our longest strip of SmartPaks
(7 "wells"). If you order more than 7 supplements or if you receive voluminous supplements your order will come in two (or
more) sets of SmartPaks.
Part of the peace of mind that comes with SmartPaks is knowing that you'll never run out. You'll receive a new supply of SmartPaks every 28 days so your horse or dog will always have fresh, accurately dosed supplements. Because it takes time to carefully build your horse's custom SmartPaks, we bill your account 3 business days in advance of your shipping date to guarantee on-time delivery. Your supplements are now on cruise control, but you're still at the wheel! You can adjust your shipments anytime before the change-by date printed on your packing slip. If you lose the slip, don't worry - we'll also email you a reminder every month.
Changing the Dose of a Supplement Already in Your Horse or Dog's SmartPak
To change the dosage on a supplement that has been submitted and is already in a SmartPak, it must be removed, and then
added back in with the new dosage. Remember that a dosage that is changed after your process date will be effective for
your next order.
Storing Your SmartPaks
SmartPaks arrive in their own unique dispenser box
. The box is labeled
with your animals' name and the contents of your SmartPaks. We have designed the dispenser to fit on a shelf, counter top
SmartPaks can also be stored in the SmartPak Storage Bag,
which is designed to hang easily on your horse's stall door. The SmartPak Storage Bag is available for purchase and can be completely customized.
What’s in Your SmartPak
Each SmartPak is individually labeled with your animal's name and the contents of each well in the SmartPak. Each well's
contents are listed in order from 1 up to 7.
Getting Multiple Dispensers

Avoid Spilling Supplements When Dispensing Really Long SmartPaks!
If you open only two or three wells at a time and dump the contents in you can easily pour your SmartPak into the feed bucket.
So it goes: uncover 2, dump, uncover next 2, dump, etc.

If The Manufacturer’s Dosing Instructions Differ From the SmartPak Dosing
In any case where our doses differ from the manufacturers suggested dose we have had an explicit conversation with the manufacturer
and have their approval to use a modified dosing schedule in SmartPaks.
I feed my own animals, why would I need this?
It will save you time, ensure you feed the same amount every time (even when you are in a hurry!), and ensure potency by
protecting your supplements from humidity and oxidation. And you will be secure in knowing that when you use a sitter, they
will be able to easily and accurately feed the correct supplements and / or dog food while you are away. SmartPaks are also
convenient and easy to pack along for overnight trips, kennel visits or dog and horse shows.
How Your Vet Fits In
We view vets as critical members of the SmartPak team. Please invite your vet to contact us with any questions or you can
call or e-mail us with your vet's contact information and we would be happy to contact him/her to introduce SmartPak.
If Your Horse Gets Some Supplements Just Once or Twice a Week.
If your horse doesn't need a supplement every day you can either purchase the supplement in buckets or order a one month
supply of supplements in SmartPaks and just feed them as needed. To only order one month of SmartPaks you can either call
us or simply cancel or place your order on hold after you receive your first shipment. You can then re-order as needed.
Stopping Shipments Temporarily. Putting an Order on Hold and Taking It Off of Hold.
From the "Your Account” page, click "Adjust Your Shipping Schedule.” Click on the order name in the calendar that you would like placed on hold. Select “Put Order on Hold” and click “Save.” You will need to follow this process for each animal or order that you would like to place on hold. The order will not be held until you click “Save.” Your order will not process as long as your order is on hold. If an order in your account is on hold and you want to start up the shipments again, click on the order name listed under “See On Hold Shipments” at the top of the page. Select a restart date in the calendar and then select “AutoShip” or “Ship One Time only” in the shipping options and click “Save.” Follow these steps for order that you would like to take off of hold.

Nutritious Dog Foods from SmartPak
If you read the label of your dog’s food, you might be surprised (or horrified) with what you find. Dog food ingredients
can include almost any part of chickens (including feathers and feet), BHA/BHT as preservatives, and parts of animals obtained
from anywhere. Of course, these ingredients are often listed cleverly, so you may have no idea what your dog is really eating.
That’s why we’ve gone out and chosen dog foods made with only human grade ingredients. Really, if you wouldn’t eat it, you
don’t want to feed it to your dog! The dog food market is a confusing one, and we want to help you make informed decisions
about feeding your dog.

in your account is on hold and you want to start up the SmartPak shipments again, follow the steps above and end by clicking
“Take off Hold and Ship Now?and selecting either “Resume Autoship?or “Ship Just Once.?You will need to click Update after making
these changes as well.
