I bought this supplement about a month ago. My horse has no trouble eating it but it might be too early to tell if it is helping her hooves.

The only supplment that has worked so far
About 2 years ago I realized my OTTB wasn't growing any foot (probably because he had been diagnosed with Chronic Lymes and we were treating him. He had grown plenty of foot the prior 4 yrs of owning him before his Lyme's diagnosis). So I started him on a major brand of hoof supplment my farrier recommended and gave it about 9 months. No change in hoof growth or quality. I changed hoof supplements to another major brand that ships monthly in convenient little tubs - gave it another several months- again, nothing. I read the reviews on FOCUS HF and have been feeding it about 7 months now and BINGO! The farrirer noticed the difference in his hoof quality and growth this last shoeingn and asked what supplement he was on. For us, this is the first thing that has seemed to work. But it could also be other factors like turnout time, daylight, seasonality, quality of hay, stress, mositure in mud/turnout and more. But for now I am pleased and will continue to supplement him with Focus HF.

Excellent product- great results!
Have had my 7 year old TWH mare on this for 2.5 years and couldn’t be happier! Her feet are hard, sturdy and healthy, and she’s been successfully barefoot for over a year. We live in New England, so her hooves are subjected to hot and humid conditions in the summer, feet of snow in the winter and everything in between during the fall and spring (including an entire season dedicated to mud!!!). Whatever the weather, her feet hold up. The price is very reasonable (way less than comparable products that in my opinion are not as effective), and my mare seems to like the taste.

Works great and my mare loves the taste.
Her feet started to crack and chip in this Florida weather so I started her on Source hoof and I have seen an improvement.

Great Product
I love Source! We had a horse with thin brittle feet and started feeding Source to him and his feet got so much better and stronger! This feed supplement is good but so far I haven't noticed the difference that just the plain Source gave, but I will keep trying for a little longer. If this supplement doesn't do the trick I am going back to original Source.

To Early to Tell
I switched to Focus HF after I was not pleased with the hoof supplement I had been using. It is really too early to tell if this product is any better. My horse wears front shoes and his hooves can get crumbly from the nails. His back feet are fairly good except for a long crack in one that has been then for years. My farrier doesn't believe in any supplements but I will keep trying. For now I am rating this as average simply because it will take time to determine if it works on my horse.

Effective
I purchased this product about 1 year ago when all other hoof supplements and dressings failed. My retired horse suffered from chronic abscesses and bruising until using this product. His hoof growth is now healthy and strong. We have even been able to pull his shoes!

Effective Hoof Supplement
My past success with Focus HF led me to order it for my new 6 year old Arabian mare. I know she will need to take it for about 6 months before we notice a significant change in her feet, but it was very effective several years ago for another horse. It needed to be introduced gradually to her sweet feed until she got used to the flavor, but now she eats it just fine. (This was also my previous experience.)
