Works not even full dose
I’m a fan of Hilton herbs. Everything I’ve tried has been worth the spend. My horse loves the herbs. He’s a TWH so sensitive (for sedation vets give this breed much less than other breeds) so I knew to start off with less than the recommended dose. One scoop and I worked with him right after and it took the edge off him big time. Great results for day one.

Very Effective for Nervous Horses
We adopted a horse who was recently retired due to an injury. Between a big move and the transition to not being in regular work, he began pacing our fence line for hours per day, despite having a buddy. UlcerGard didn't change this. As I got to know him, I realized he's just a bit of a worrier and not a very confident guy, so I decided to try him on this supplement. Within a week, he completely stopped fence-walking and seems much more content over-all. I have kept him on it and I love the convenience of SmartPaks. While this supplement isn't the cheapest calming supplement, Hilton Herbs is the best quality and I believe in the healing power of herbs. Please note, this isn't a good option for horses showing in rated competition. If your horse won't eat this at first, start with just a tiny bit and work up to the full dose - most horses will adjust to the herbal taste. My guy isn't picky and had no issue eating it.

Amazing Product!
If you're searching for a more natural calming supplement, Calm & Collected is an excellent choice. At first, I was worried about feeding a calming supplement in general; worried that it would negatively affect my gelding's mental health or make us 'dependent' on it. Though, that all changed once I introduced him to it.
Ray-Ray has PTSD from past experiences and Calm & Collected has done an amazing job on healthily reducing his anxiety. His brain isn't on constant overdrive & can focus significantly easier during our training sessions. :) It really has helped him slow down a little..
However, I believe the dosage can vary. Ray-Ray is supposed to receive 4 scoops daily (according to the instructions), but actually he only gets 1 1/2 to 2 scoops. Anything more was too much for him and made him a little sluggish, but it was very easy to figure out what was comfortable for him.
Overall, I 100% reccomend Calm & Collected, especially to those who have anxious horses. :)

Little too early to tell.
I've had my mare on "calming" supplements before and they tend to take the edge off of her. We are only 2 weeks into our use, and I don't notice much difference but I was pleasantly surprised that my normally picky eater didn't think twice about cleaning this supplement up. We'lol see if I see more of a difference over the next month.

Worked well- but not show legal :(
We have had one of my employer's geldings on this for a few months(up until a few weeks ago). It works so well on the spooky guy! With show season approaching I called USEF with a list of our supplements to make sure that all of them were legal for showing. This one is NOT. :( :( The only hangup with them was the Valerian root in it. It's a great product- but I think they need to put something about this in the description. Only thing I saw was that it wasn't to be given to pregnant mares or horses intended for consumption. Otherwise I wouldn't have purchased this.

Nice natural product
I wasn't prepared for what I saw when I opened the bucket- it looks like loose leaf tea! Kinda smells like it, too =) I was worried my rather picky horse would object but she hasn't minded a bit since I added it to her nightly Coolstance mash.
This particular horse needs to be on calming supps all the time and I quit her last one because it contained GMO's. Since she'd been out for a couple weeks, she was getting tightly wound, and just a week on this product seems to be turning her back to her still-alert-but-manageable self!

Made a believer out of me!
I was entirely skeptical of any "calming " supplement actually working but this made a remarkable difference with my jumpy horse. However he would not eat it when it was presented in the smartpak as it was ground up and dusty, but when given in its normal state he loved it, and it works!
