Rated 4 out of 5 by from works We use this on us mostly because my mare doesn't care for the noise it makes when spraying it. My gelding doesn't mind the noise because he knows it works! I do wish that was fixed-the only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not impressed. I purchased this spray because I like the idea that it can work double-duty; it can be used on people as well as horses. It works better on people than on horses. Also, the sprayer worked fine for the first two or three uses, but now it barely works at all, and there is quite a bit of spray left in the bottle. I would not buy it again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from it's ok I got this because I heard great things about it.I liked it at first and thought it was awesome, but it doesn't last half as long as normal fly spray on the horses. It works GREAT on humans though. It smells horrible and for the price you don't get very much in the can. My can stopped spraying correctly after about 10 uses and now sprays in odd patterns instead of steadily.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent Fly Spray Pros:-Can be safely used on people (I usually sprayed my arms after spraying my horse)-The smell, although strong at first, is pleasant-Seems to repel ticks and horsefliesCons:-Doesn't do much to repel flies and other annoying bugs-Doesn't last very long-Hard to see which areas have been sprayed because the mist is so fine-Expensive for only offering 12 hr protection

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Actually works well for both of us! I originally purchased this spray for me since it was advertised as safe for human use. But, for the last two years I have been using Duraguard on my mare with excellent results, this year however, it seems the green heads and the bombers are immune to it. I decided to try the Centaura on both me and my mare and go out on a trail with a friend who sprayed her horse with Duraguard. Guess who didn't have any green heads or bombers! Very affective and the fine mist allows good even coverage without much wasting. While it definitely does NOT smell good, it is not as offensive as the other more heavy chemical smelling sprays. Highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Tick Spray I figured I would buy this to try repelling ticks during trail rides, considering my horse will come back to the barn after an hour-long ride with no less than 20 ticks on his legs. I have been using it for a few weeks now, and he hasn't had a SINGLE tick on his legs afterward. My friends and I also spray it on our jeans before we walk in tall grass, and have not had any ticks latch on. I will definitely be buying this again and again, no other spray I've tried works nearly as well!
