Great!
We started our gelding in this about two months ago and so far we are liking it! Easy to add to his grain. And we know he’s getting it all vs the pellet style supplements.

My Horse Doesn't Like the Taste
This is my second time trying this supplement, just to see if my horse’s taste has changed since a few years have passed since the first try. He just doesn’t seem to care for the powder or the taste of this. I’m sure for those who’s horses like it, it’s a good product, but no supplement does any good
If it isn’t eaten. My search for a different hoof supplement resumes.

horse would not eat it
My horse eats almost anything.I would not say he is a picky eater at all. To be honest, I couldn't measure the results because it was a struggle each day to find some way for the horse to eat it. Shame I bought a huge tub. If you have a picky eater, stick with pellets instead of this ground mix

Unsure it's enough flax to help
The good thing is that my finicky horse eats it. I was hoping to improve hoof quality with biotin and also supplement Omega 3 fatty acids/Vitamin E for the winter months. However, since I bought this product I've done a little more research on flax seed. Most nutritionists recommend more like a whole measuring cup of stabilized ground flax seed, rather than a little scoop. I suspect the amount of Omega 3/vitamin E in the daily scoop of BioFlax is negligible, although the biotin may help my horse's hooves.

Not as good as Vita Biotin Crumbles
My TBx has a history of bad foot condition and I put him on Vita Biotin Crumbles in his smartpaks - a huge differene. In 2020 they stopped carrying the product and switched my order to Bioflax 20 so I thought I'd try it. Now in the 7th month of this his hooves have deteriorated back to where they were before I put him on any hoof supplement. Cracking, tearouts and this is on a rigorous farrier schedule. I am very attentive to his feet and nothing has changed in regards to feed, environment etc. Supplement is similar except for lack of calcium maybe that's the cause.

Not Sure Yet
Price is great, love that it combines 2 key ingredients. My horse has only been on it for a month and a half now so I can't really speak to the affects. He is pretty picky though, but he eats it with his grain!

Shiny Coats!
Was feeding flax and biotin supplements separately. Found this product which has simplified my supplement program. I've used it for a few weeks and have been happy with it so far. Horses have maintained shiny, healthy looking coats.
