As reported in the Horse Journal, vitamin E and selenium supplementation, along with magnesium in the ration, may aid in nutritional support in the presence of sore muscle problems.

I live in New England so we are low on Se. Very happy with this product, will continue for sure. Good price too. One of my mares is a very picky eater and eats it no problem.

Rated 3 out of 5 by catraf from Less "touchy" so far None of my horses have access to year round green grass, and summers bring very little grazing on our property in the high desert. Even though they are all on custom mixes of feed and forage, alfalfa, 24/7 grass hay, etc., my mare has always been thin skinned and very sore after workouts (with PEMF, chiro, massage, stretches specifically designed for her, and oh so much more maintenance than we all would like to admit, haha). She has been on this for 2 months and is so far seeming less sore after a work out. I will update the review after the hard riding season gets underway!

She went from no work to working 5-6 days per week and didn't have any sore days, even after intense lessons. She is 14 years old, and has no maintenance. I love this product! I have transitioned all of my horses onto it.
