Instructions for Use:
Can be used on horses, ponies and foals and dogs (over 12 weeks of age). Use as a premise spray to keep pests away from outdoor areas like doorways, trash cans, stalls, decks and patios. Use a towel when applying to face area to avoid direct contact with eyes.

Stopped working
I love ultrashield and I just refilled this great bottle because I love how it has different settings but after I refilled it, it stopped spraying! The handle pumps but it no longer sprays out. I understands it happens so I will just order another one.

Love the new sprayer and the great product
I love when a company does thier research and testing to put out an improvement that works. This new sprayer make spraying multiple horses much less of a chore. Easy pull, wide coverage, no leakage on to you, can spray upside down for those vunerable bellies. Thank you Absorbine, and Smartpak for putting in on sale.

There isn’t a fly spray that lasts with the effectiveness I would like but this is as good as I’ve found. I’ve never had a negative experience. We apply every day, once before night turnout and before going out on a ride.

Love this product! I live in Maine in the woods
Blackflies and Mosquitoes galore! My girl loved the fact that this kept a lot of the bugs off of her! I didn't see any ticks either, as long as I sprayed her down 2x a day! Smells great, and not oily! 100% reccomend!

Good fly control, but don’t like continuous spray
While the actual product is good, the delivery from the continuous sprayer is poor. When I first used it on my 3 mature horses, all 3 spooked at the sound of the spraying. With repeated use, the spray barely came out of the can. I would buy the product again with the hand pump sprayer. I do not recommend this particular type of sprayer/type of delivery.

It's ok
Tried this for the first time, trying to find a fly spray that does what it advertises. It worked ok on our ride, but the horses were still bothered by the flies. Works like any other fly spray....ok, but not great. It definitely is not going to last 2 weeks like it says.

Best tick control product out there!
I live in an area where ticks are very prevalent. A few years ago, my mare contracted equine anaplasmosis from a tick bite and became very ill. She had a high fever, was lathargic and went off feed for almost a full week. Luckily, with antibiotics she became healthy again. After the whole ordeal, I tried multiple topicals to try and keep the ticks off of her the best I could. UltraShield EX is the only product that if applied daily will keep the ticks at bay! She has never had another episode. I am forever greatful for this product!

Works great!
I have tried almost every product for flies on my horses and this is by far one of the most effective. The only downfall is the price. If you want sometime that really works, however, you will not be disappointed .

Packaging issues
I got the aerosol can, actually by accident because I prefer traditional sprays, and the lid was defective. It sprayed once and then stopped and leaked all over. Customer service was great (as always) and replaced it quickly but I wouldn't recommend the aerosol version since I've also seen other reviewers have issues as well. The actual product seems to work just OK, I've used better and worse.

The best fly spray ever!
I have been using Ultrashield EX for over 2 years. I get the best results from it. I have driving horses and flies and bugs can present a real problem. Never an issue with Ultrashield EX.

Quality Fly Spray
It seems like most fly sprays work about the same way & don’t last that long especially if your horse goes outside, sweats, rolls in the dirt or gets rained on. Overall I’m very pleased with this product, it does a great job & is stronger than many others on the market

This fly spray works as good as anything I've purchased (and it's always the most expensive) but at least it works reasonably well. You need to spray every day however; you can forget the 17 day claim from the manufacturer.

Lousy bottles and spray pistol
Amazing product, but the bottles and spray nozzles leave a lot to be desired. I have had two bottles leak from apparently nowhere …. all over the shelves. old my retailer, but they get several bottles in each case with the same problem!!
The second problem is the spray nozzle. They are made very poorly, and break readily. I have to save a collection of used bottles and nozzles as I don't know what I am going to get! There is nothing more annoying than having a nozzle trigger snap apart when you are about to spray a group of horses in a paddock.
